One question please!! Where did the jews came from if that place is not their land? Where did they come from to settle in places like Germany, Russia, Poland etc.
An honest answer will be, "where they are today" |

tpia: you guys are missing the point.
Okeke may have lied about his occupation to the prospective bride. Could be delivery man, security guard or cab driver saying he's a doctor, lawyer or important business man abroad. Nothing wrong with any of these occupations, but why lie to someone you say you care about and want to marry. What about when she discovers the reality.
The wife arrives joyfully overseas only to discover her dream prince is actually the opposite. Nothing wrong with that, except he shouldnt have deceived her in the first place.
happens a lot.
There's a story somewhere about someone whose girlfriend is thinking of sponsoring their entire wedding and engagement since the guy has no money. Some girls don't mind these kind of things, as long as the man is telling the truth. What exactly is your bizness with that? If a girl marries me because i am in Europe or because i have some money to throw around, then that is her Bizness. I don't know any guy that lies to the wife to be knowing that they will live together under the same roof. Some guys might lie to babes just for a fling, but not for marriage. Except if the poster was a victim of that or knew a victim of that. All those pizza boys and cleaners do not ride okada in Nigeria like their counterparts that work in offices, coupled with their big houses and their big mortgage debt that they pay through the nose. hahahaha nonsense thread my sister Nwando |

tpia: please don't consider yourself an expert on Nigerian prostitutes abroad.
You don't know each and every one of them, no matter how much dancing you do every single day and night. They come, they go.
So, unless you're the one bankrolling the entire trafficking process from Nigeria to Europe, you can't have 20/20 vision in this matter. Abeg go sidon for one side!! It seems you like arguing blindly |

by the way, are you a bouncer? na only night club you dey frequent for Nigeria, Spain, Italy, or anywhere you go? abi na recruiter you be?
Why would I be going round all the clubs in new zealand to count the number of prostitutes there? I like dancing and i do it anywhere i find myself, be it Nigeria or Europe because i am still a youth My friend sometimes it's good to keep mute on issues we don't know and learn from others |

tpia: una don come be that o.
Are you yourself based in Nigeria- or is that not Spain on your profile.
If you happen to have friends who are prostitutes, in what way does that mean every single Nigerian prostitute abroad knew they were being trafficked for prostitution. Again with the generalizations. You can't claim to know every single prostitute in Italy, Spain or wherever you are. When this trade was in its initial stages, there were many women who said they were tricked about the actual nature of their employment in Europe. And if these people are going into the remote hinterlands to scout for girls, then there's still the possibility that some of these girls may not know the exact nature of the job. Or are you saying every single girl without exception has the desire to be a prostitute.
Some go with the full knowledge of what they're getting into, while others don't.
As to night club patrons and the like- every country has them. Dont know why you consider Nigeria's own worse than others. have you ever visited the US. Anyway, flash money anywhere in the world, and a good chunk of girls will follow you home. Dont know what you're saying here.
.
@ Blatant:
The article didnt specifically mention Benin girls, to the best of my knowledge. You can argue what you like about this topic but the truth still remains that every single Nigerian prostitute in Europe knew what she was going to do over there and the amount she was going to pay her Madam, Just wait for the part 2 of that CNN programme and then you'll come to know what i already know about them and their families Such documentaries are always on the air waves here, how they go to the juju shrines and how their families openly offer them to the journalists for free. They are all into Voodoo my goshhhhh If you tell me that almost all the clubs in New Zealand are only frequented by ashawos then i will rest my case about Nigeria having more ashis than most western countries!! but until then i am still me No need bringing that Blatant comment back because she already apologised for that |

na lie.
@ romeo
name your source for this information?
Where is the lie about what i said? don't open your mouth when you don't have a clue my sources are my friends here who happen to be prostitutes and it's not a secret over here how they came and what rituals were performed before they came and all that bullshit I don't think you need a web link to know that about 80% of nite clubs in Nigeria has been hijacked by ashawos thus making every other girl in a club almost a "club girl" in the eyes of men almost 50% or more of our hotels are home to those ashawos a good chunk of our female university students are ashawos Even our so called Senate is debating that Flash money anywhere in Nigeria and you'll pack girls afterwards as take away (even in the churches) If you're not based in Nigeria Tpia, then it's been quite a long time you came home last |

I'm also noticing your quickness to jump on Nigerian women who find themselves victims of this trafficking. Not all the women who are trafficked in this manner go intentionally. Some do, while others don't. And you're saying the whole thing is a fabrication by CNN because they ran a documentary about it?
If you watched the video, one woman was crying while she recounted how eight men humped her at one session, after tricking her about her services. Maybe you feel the tears were fake.
see Nigeria o. Seeing no evidence. Any wonder we are the way we are, with our mentality. Every single Nigerian lady prostituting in Europe knew what she was going to do in Europe and the amount she will pay back to her " Madam". Not only that she was aware but her family too @demand and supply issue There is no bigger demand of prostitutes in Europe than in Africa (Nigeria), It's all economic and the prostitutes coming from Eastern block and Nigeria are going there to reap on the economic advantage Europe can offer and not because there is high demand. There are more prostitutes in Nigeria than the whole of Europe if we calculate the number of students that engage in sex for money in Nigeria Are you based in Europe? |

ojimbo IV: omg! this is very nice work. i can't help but feel some high level poetic control of grammar and technique ability in this piece - makes me wonder if this was written by an understudy to prof. soyinka. therefore, casting doubts over the credibility of the writer (i.e kalu )
no doubt kalu can spell, but i strongly disagree his vocabulary is as good as what the articles suggest. the action of the elders is to checkmate him flossing himself with articles like these. but damn are there some massive words in 'his' articles whew!

Really? He can't write? is he Chinua Achebe? running his mouth and contradicting himself is not the same as not being able to spell. Abeg that spelling issue is dumb |

Though not given to an arrogant display of intellectualism, his acuity is immeasurably perplexing. This is manifest in the deftness and adumbration with which he has accurately forecasted major events. No wonder some believe that he became a governor by a combination of adroit diplomacy and sheer good luck. He went through his academic career diligently and was at various times at Christ the King School, Aba for his primary education, Eziama High School, Aba; Government College, Umuahia; University of Maiduguri; Harvard University Graduate Business School (AMP 153) Boston, USA and Abia State University.
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Political Science of the Abia State University, Uturu, IEA Certificate by USAID, honorary doctorate degrees in Law by the University of Port Harcourt and Abia State University, Uturu, and City State University, Los Angeles, USA
And why are some people calling him illiterate |
