Just wanna contribute, the bumper cud be pushed back to normal and look clean with no damage. U only need to go down on the floor and gently push it frm under the car.

Considering you have to remove the exhaust pipe to get to the affected part....I understand why the owner has not done anything to it till now.

secondly on two of us are earning a decent living. Though still praying for better jobs.
Mum is scared of negotiatin seems these market people have a hold on her or somthing. I have since made my stance that I will only be involved in settlement of the principal.

Really? I hope u know there is nothing like paying only the principal and going scot free without paying the interest. This sounds selfish IMO.

gabito4luv:

I am even thinking of asking her to file for bankruptcy i.e. if that works in Nigeria.

I laugh. Are you outside Nigeria presently? For you to think of this it seems you are in another country. Even at that, you want to borrow all that money and file for bancruptcy when u had already benefitted well enough from the funds?

You are indeed a phony funny man

RoyalRoy:
She borrowed money to raise you guys and here you are asking what to do about the debt?

Do all u can and free her from the debt, all these your talk about " only going to pay the principal" to me is not ideal.

Thanks Roy for that bolded part.
I thought I was the only one who felt offended with that statement.

Op that is very selfish of you to say.
You are making mama appear to be a spent thrift who kept on borrowing money to have parties and fun fare when actually you guys didn't do enough to support her in her own times of need.

Truth be told you sound so self centered.

So you can't even follow her to beg the market women!!!! shocked

Your mum sacrifised her dignity and all to train you and all you can do is open a thread to ask strangers how to settle her debt.

I really feel for your mum.
Let me stop here so I don't make real bad comments to you.

I am acutely sure that, most of us don't want a common name for that innocent tiny soul (baby)....But, out of the fear of I don't want a common name for my sweet baby or let me say out of ignorance, so many people are making the mistake of naming their child wrongly. I was chatting with a friend and our discussion led us into different names we have heard. Has anyone heard the name Kotomi( not enough ), esuogbadun( devil is not alright)....Just imagine someone on a call (hello daddy kotomi, good evening )....What will be your reaction?

Am an undergraduate and I stay in Lasgidi.
Just joined nairaland officially yesterday even though I have always been here as a guest.
I am single but not searching. I like it here cos people are matured and most times at peace with each other.
I love reading, travelling and dancing.

Most of my friends are older people than me and so I tap a lot from their knowledge.
I got drawn to family section by RoyalRoy.
He is cool and quite confident with his posts. I also think he's got a way with words.

I get that some circumstances tempt one sore...

All in all, it is still possible to stand cheesy

Wish you well cheesy

In your words, may God prosper us!

# you remind me of one of my cousins sha... (apart from the social networking part. He is a spirikoko in a fun way)

THIS bro Nash is far from spirikoko joor.
With all his friends doing under G moves. I guess he is just a determined man who has made up his mind to stay faithful. I Like his personality and his swags. Lol

Only problem with men like him is women tend to target them more often just to demystify them. Lol

May God help him truly.

Family / Re: Brother In-law! by Ronnie65(f): 12:24pm On Jan 09, 2014
I don't understand why lots of women want to live the life of "me and my husband alone" after marriage. Your hubby surely didn't drop from the sky so why are u suddenly uncomfortable with his people.
I tell my friends that my bf brothers will be my best friends because when am having trouble with him I can easily relate with them.

And because someone suggested that except he is schizophrenic, you immediately capitalised on that and start to claim he has mental Illness just to gain sympathy right?

We ladies most times are always looking for trouble where there is non.
Imagine you also complaining about the father in law coming around once a while too.
Will the story be different if the visitors were ur family?

If he doesn't encroach into ur bedroom or steal things from you, then let him be.
Your husband must surely have a good reason for letting him stay.

Please be wise and stop looking for trouble where there is non. And am sure your points are baseless hence reason why hubby refuses to act on it and reason why u are here.

Please grow up.

Nairaland / General / Re: 4 Things You Probably Never Knew Your Mobile Phone Could Do by Ronnie65(f): 10:37am On Jan 09, 2014
Nice tips. Thanks Op.

In addition for your own safety, always disable your mobile phone security lock when travelling. In cases of accident and emergency, most people need blood or financial assistance from family members, only for their phones to be locked nd passworded.
Therefore making it near impossible to contact any close relative or friends.

A word is enough for the wise.

This thread is not in anyway trying to rubbish the efforts of Sahara Reporters but it's to inform Nigerians about the inconsistencies in thier report.

It might interest you to know that SH have never apologised for a false report before despite some of their news being false.

If you can remember any false news by Sahara reporters please share on this thread with evidence that the news was also false.

Your opening paragraph is exactly what you claim not to be.

Will you apologise for something you didn't do wrong?

Why don't you show us all the fake report before opening the thread?

And I thought ASUU strike was over?

Even if you don't get the government to comply, at least you have done well to expose their incompetence and disregard for the judiciary and laws of the land.
