BluePearls:The price of Bitcoins is usually above the price of dollars in the parallel market. Moreover there's a tendency for scams in these matters. Check the e-currency thread on the Business section, there's a scam almost everyday there. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it; I just want to apprise you if the dangers involved. Cheers. |

giftedben:Was that the only thing you got from my post? ![]() You misunderstood me.... I said Lagos, Kano, Abuja, PH, etc have higher population than the rest of Nigeria, and are relatively more developed. Therefore the number of people using 4g devices would be higher. Do you understand my position now? |
princetom1:Ba masala. ![]() I'll get back to you. |
Dam5reey:No problem. I'll let you know. |
Stevebrown:You needn't have funded your AliExpress pocket. You could have just bought directly since it's under $100. Why we use AliExpress pocket is because of the $100 limit on naira cards. |
Dam5reey:Nagode sosai. Thank you, sir. I'm still busy now sha. |

Talenu:Depends. It can be almost immediate, or it may take up to a month. Contact the customer care representative of your bank if the refund exceeds 7 days. |
Update on the UMI Z with proximity sensor issues: Apparently it was a software issue. I formatted and flashed the phone with SP flash tool and it's working perfectly well so far. |
OP, there is no infrastructure in Nigeria making it very hard to do business in this country. If a company is going to do business then it must make profit. Do you know that it costs almost ₦200 million DAILY to power base transceiver stations (BTS)? The figure above is at 2015, by now it would have increased exponentially. Lagos, Abuja, Portharcourt, Kano, etc are commercial cities with a lot of people. That's why companies set up because there are a lot of people and they are relatively more developed, therefore they can recoup their initial investment quickly. How many people in Anambra even have 4g phones? |
That's clearly fake. 1.) Tecno doesn't make power banks. Any power bank branded "Tecno" is most likely fake or inferior. 2.) That can't be up to 5,000 mAh. It's too small. Physics will tell you that for more battery capacity you need more cells which translates to bigger size. That's why power banks with large capacities (10,000, 20,000 mAh, etc) are large and heavy. If you doubt you can tear it down and look at the battery used. It'll most likely be 2 18660 batteries. Be careful with that. Batteries as a whole can be dangerous, fake batteries more so. If you can return it then do so, and get something better, even though it'll be more expensive. FIL has good power banks that are relatively cheap. Stay safe. |
awofe20:As I said before, it varies on the parallel market rate for that day. Someone was charged ₦450/$ just last week. |
Dani4tech:There should be an option for preferred network type. |
Dani4tech:Turn off data. Dial *#*#4636#*#* Set it to LTE only. Stability depends in network in your area. |
johnsonsegxy:If you need 5 days or so for shipping then be prepared to pay the price for either DHL or EMS. It can be up to $70 for shipping. I don't know if 5 days is possible though, even express shipping via freight forwarders on Nairaland takes about 8 days. Contact is on signature: 09065447657 |
steric58:That works also. |
steric58:It's possible sha.. Not officially though. You'll have to chat up the seller, seller gives you PayPal account, then you pay and the seller ships. It won't be subject to AliExpress' escrow, so if the seller cheats you it's none of their business. You may be able to file a dispute/charge back with PayPal though. |
pachman:Yes, really. Can go as low as ₦370/$, depending on the size of the order. Contact is on signature. |
Kaybeeeee:Rate is bank rate (₦375/$) Can go as low as ₦370/$ depending on size of order. Can do transactions of any amount. Contact is on signature. |
consumingfire:Both Access and GTB charge ₦375. Only UBA charges₦320/$, but it only works in the midnight. |
