The AliExpress pocket balance gets applied automatically, so it may have been applied for a previous order, just cancel that order and it will be available.

Xiaomi is slow in updating phones because they have a lot of devices and they update ALL their devices -- even those that are years old.

Any normal problem that doesn't require changing parts can be solved by any phone engineer.

If you have to replace parts, eg battery, screen, etc then you'll have to order from China via AliExpress or whatever.

In the FAQ it's advised to order replacement parts and keep, in case of unforseen circumstances.

UBA (works only at midnight), GTB (doesn't work for PayPal and Facebook), and Access (works for all of them) & FCMB support international transactions.

UBA's rate is ₦318 or thereabouts, GTB's rate is ₦320/$, while Access Bank's rate is ₦325/$. FCMB's rate is close to Black market rate.

All of them have a monthly limit of $100.

Update: GTB is now ₦375/$.

According to customer care the rate depends on the parallel market rate for the day.

$100 monthly limit still applies.
