Joblessness at its peak! Who dem help? |
......soon someone will come here to tell us that Jesus did similar thing in the bible. |
I can see that this triumvirate of Jude, peter and paul have amassed so much money from the music industry even for their generations unborn. I don't see them making it individually. |
Madam I love your guts! Keep vituperating! |

Call it packaging! |
That's God dealing with you guys. We've not had enough to eat and you are rushing out to export. You think every quality of product is exportable? It is so obvious our government doesn't know what an 'export quality' is. |
ObamaOsama:Haba! Uncle Osama, why eat bread as if it contains some bones. I simply ask a question and I expect nothing but an answer. Or, is asking a question forbidden by Obama in Osama land? |
Abagworo:No bro, why beat a hasty conclusion that I'm demonizing igbo culture? Where did I do that in my write up? Is chasing a woman and her female children by SOME family members upon the demise of her husband from a house she Single-handedly built just because she has got no male issue justifiable in all ramifications? Igbos are good people and their culture and tradition too unique and wonderful; I can never demonize them or any other tribe. |
That outlandish law of leaving the female folk in the family empty-handed is being reversed in igboland. Though wills are contestable in the law court, hence the man is not giving out their family house, the ONLY land or property to the females in the family; should the case be taken to court, Emmy will be the bad loser! The female folk is perceived to be marginalized when it comes to sharing of property in igboland. And so, the court is becoming so lenient to women in such a case because many have been deprived of what belonged to them or what they laboured assiduously for. Imagine a woman losing a house SHE single-handedly built with her money all because she lost her husband and has no male child. Isn't it draconian? |
Trump must not see this! |
Assuming Zambia beats Nigeria with 2 goals to nothing, is there any remedy still for us to make it to world cup? |
Is he related to late Senator Nwulu? |
No matter the past scandal, I see Davido ending up with this Sophia of a girl by fire by force! |
My friend George introduced me to Nairaland way back 2005 when we were searching for jobs. I remained a ghost member for long before opening my first account which contained my name. But when phrenologists started creeping into the forum stealthily, I had to delete the account to open this. I've really introduced some of my niblings and friends to this forum; and they don't regret joining. |
I'm glad we still have those that are proud to be Nigerians and still believe in her; unlike the children of Jeroboam. |
Who will she blame? |
What's her relationship with this guy? That 'brother' of a thing to me is confusing. RIP brother |
Dipping bread in the tea |
Probz:I can't really say, that's what it is known as there |
Op U no put the day we elected Buhari as president and the day Sani Abacha die? |
Buhari or Jubrin? |
aalangel:That thing tire me o! Why is she calling him her brother? When her husband starts to suspect something or friends and families tongues start wagging, she would starting looking left, right and centre for an available old woman to label a witch behind her problems. |
Preetiex:Aunty Biko, no vex o! Who dey rest in peace for here? Honestly I no understand o! |
The Awka people were/are never Wawas. Though people carelessly or hastily allude Awka to be part of Wawa because of its usage of 'wa' for 'no'. One thing that stands Awka out is its dialect: it's very unique. No other community shares that dialect with Awka. Believe it or leave it. It's evidently clear that Awka has strong ties with some 'wawa' communities. There are some traces of similarities in their customs and traditions. They freely inter-marry. Owing to the itinerant nature of Awka blacksmiths in the olden days, I would agree that Awka tradition has been influenced by outsides cultures and traditions. Most blacksmiths came back with strange women and idols from those lands. And as we know, the idols must certainly be appeased; and appeasing them is a tradition. Apart from the name 'Attah' borrowed from Igalla, they have the likes of 'Agbo' etc. Awka started eating Fiofio before the Wawas. Fiofio thrives on their land; they plant it as a flower to decorate their compound and as feeds to goats. Amongst the Awkas, groundnut is simply 'Okpa' as AjaanaOka enthused. What the Wawas call 'Okpa' its full name in Awka is 'Igbagu-Okpa'. Thank you |
The guy just spoilt the show with that tiny and outlandish flag in his hand. |
