Im just from the fcsc i collected my APL today and the drill here is that ..as they recieve the signed letters they call the candidate. as of today only two files were recieved with about 20 to 30 others still pending so house relax they will continue coming in. So be hopeful and prayerful yours might just be the very next one he signs.

Erenge and Kay not to worry, what happened is that what was allocated to your stat,e is what they gave you but after the probation period during your confirmation, it will be regularized and the appropriate level given to you. ALSO try to get close to the people in your state commission office, it will help.

The reason for the documentation for now is to enable cross check and verification of documents and certificate to ascertain that you are qualified for the position and level given before signing the APL . Each candidate will have like 4 letters that will be signed original signature EACH FOR H.O.S,FCSC,MINISTRY,ACCOUNTANT GENERAL,And your humble self. That is why we are experiencing delay in getting APL ISSUANCE.but the process is on going.

First Bank Terminates 300 Staff- Let the World Hear Our Story. In 2016 First Bank made a restructure where more staff were realigned and all staff within the grades of AM to Manager in Services were moved to Marketing which was okay. However, along the line the Staff in these grade were eventually displaced. This was where all the middle management staff unfortunate sojourn started. Management in their confusion named us Special Retail Team (SRT). We were huddled into a department as it were to internalise marketing skills. It wasn't up to three months they changed our name/department to Special Recovery Team (SRT). Our job was to dig out all written off accounts, meet with the customers and recover the funds. Against all odds of economic recession, inability to locate the customers for various reasons including deaths and possible relocation we took up the challenge. We made huge recoveries. For instances in my BDO we were able to recover in less than a year above N500 Million Naira. The figures are there for verification. Same could be said of most BDOs. But the imbeded hate and desire to do away with these crop of middle management AMs, DMs and Manager Grade had beclouded management's good sense of judgment. For the past 3 years they eventually promoted staff and surreptitiously nailed us with Termination Letters where of course we never committed any offence let a lone fraud crime. My team was never issued any performance query neither had we faced any DC since we found ourselves in SRT. They now handed a sanction on us without any offence or crime. The painful and unjust aspect is that management has killed our careers by the term Termination instead of Retirement or Disengagement. This is because no new employer or any other place of endeavour will take a terminated staff as a man of integrity and achiever. The choice of Termination Term is for management to evade the payment of severance package as stipulated in our hand book. Management should be asked our offence and get it substantiated. How can everyone in all SRT department bankwide be non performers. This act is a cumulative of what lower staff members have been suffering silently without a voice since 4 years running whilst the top management favour themselves with mouth watering packages as they ease off. Our prayer is that the Termination Letters should be commuted to Disengagement or Retirement and the attendant package speedily paid to us in full. We sincerely hope and appeal that well meaning Nigerians should heed our cry and come to our rescue so as to stop this obnoxious policy in First Bank and save those staff who are still in the employment of the bank in future.

FIRST BANK ENGAGES IN UNFAIR LABOUR PRACTICE, TERMINATES APPOINTMENTS OF ABOUT 300 STAFF WITHOUT PAY.

While the MD/CEO of first Bank is blowing his trumpet for promoting 3000 staff, he was deliberately silent on the fact that, this is the first promotion exercise in the Bank for the past three years.

He is also provocatively silent on the over 300 other staff he has sent out of the Bank by terminating their appointments in one swoop, with payment of only one month salary in lieu of notice. Both letters of promotion and the sack letters were released simultaneously and so one wonders why the MD/CEO chosed to blow a loud trumpet on one and left out the other.

We gave the Bank our youthful age and strength, serving for periods spanning between 10 to 33 years only for us to be served with a LETTERS OF TERMINATION on Monday 14th August, 2017 on the ground that OUR SERVICES ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED. The letter went further to state that we will be paid my salary up to the date of the letter (11/8/2017) and one month basic salary in lieu of notice. What a callous management? As if that is not enough, the letter states further that we will be advised of our respective indebtedness to the Bank for us to pay. 

We understand this includes the rent arrears that was given to us in January, which we paid to our landlords. We don't know if they actually expects us to go and ask the landlords to return it for us to return to them. 

The management is also practicing discriminatory policies. Recently, some management staff who were laidoff were paid one year entitlements while the middle management is being laid off without pay. 

What an unfair labour practice. This is modern day slavery and we will resist it with the last drop of our blood."

Erenje is absolutely correct. It's fcsc who is in charge of recruitment and who issues APLs. I know this first hand. Some of the information i read here is really troubling. Some very misleading information.

All what you have said can not be true, coz you make total analysis while some part of the country is not even invite what you have said 3 per state is not true because my friend went their yesterday his state list is about 7 pages and each page contain 6 candidate. If u calculate how many candidates?

What she is saying is that 3 per state on a particular ministry multiply it by the 12 ministries that declared vacancy on a chosen state you will be getting about the 7 pages My friend was referring too. All hope not lost after all.

the marks i was referring to was for the interview in kubwa, but this documentation has nothing to do with that just documentation,cross checking of credentials and us filling the civil service form thereafter civil service number will be given , we were told that they will get back to us for the APL to be issued soon. i guess this process is done batch by batch.

To add to what Hian said ..it's not the same as that of Kubwa psin .. They collected two set of my credentials and cv with two passport at Kubwa and @ Fcsc office today they collected another two set but the difference here is that we were given the old Fcsc form to fill and file number obtained from 3rd floor registered were filled at the commissioners office..I was told by the staff there that the APL will be put inside and submitted to the commissioner to sign same then it will be given out to us.. And also marks were allocated during the interview e.g first class 20 marks second class upper 15mks and lower 10mks and so on.. Marks were also given to presentation and dressing etc.

by using abuja as place of residence you may be denying your self that allowance called 28 days if you sum that up with your 3 months salary it will amount to say 500k. i hope you will have the chance to switch your c.v during registration when you finally recieve your appointment letter because its very possible . Amen to you.

NO NO NO.. you are getting it wrong , this is a Federal ministry so all successful candidates will work in Abuja, note ONLY Parastatals and Agencies of GOVT may likely post you out to other states.. postings will be to the ministry you applied for except for OAUGF and BPP that will post you to serve under other Agencies like judiciary presidency etc.. but all in ABUJA. thanks

@ Onyi101 YES they were about to display BATCH B on the portal but changed their mind and sent text messages inviting people . i was told from the commissioners office that they dont want people flooding there offices complaining that there names were not on the list as it happened with batch A they used "BATCH B to be displayed later" as a decoy to reduce the tension of applicants and their sponsors. heart breaking ain'it!
and now currently they have completely removed the BATCH B "pending release" from there sight.

Just from the psin centre and what I gather from the whole exercise is that they have list for presidency ,list for honorable ,list for senators in fact you will be asked at times who your sponsor is.... This is at the screening stage meanwhile at interview you will be asked what senatorial region you are from. I also gathered they don't want to publish the list not to upset us Nigerians in case you don't find your name on the list. So they used text messages instead .

Ive since been waiting to confirm this... yes text messages have been sent but not all states this is for real there will be interview for some 2morow but for MFA i havent heard anything for now. Keep hope Alive
