Hello all,

Please i am looking for a PGD in human resources that lasts for more than 12 months. I have found schools like Cambrian college, and Camosun college but they are all 12 months. As you all know, to get PGWP of more than 1 year, your program has to be more than a year. Please if anyone knows any pgd programs in HRM that is about 16 months, please let

It is for my sister who has a 2.2 bachelors in mass communication and just finished NYSC last year.

Thank you all, i really appreciate it

Last night I sent both webform and email to Nairobi office and Lagos office as well.

Just got an email from Lagos office that my receipt has been updated. I guess Lagos is now handling online applications.

I also sent to lagos at 11am yesterday and got a reply by 3pm that it has been uploaded. I guess LAGOS is handling some applications to meet up with Fall session

Meet the customer service officer of any firstbank branch to write a mail to lagos ebusiness. They will direct her/him
to some pilot branches that do nse . Another alternative is to go to Google and get to nse website call the customer service to give you the contact person in firstbank that does nse. It cost 1k and additional vat . It takes 24 hrs to get it in your email.

uote author=childgodly post=101399693]Hello,
I sent an email to first contact concerning mybankstatement
They are telling me that they are doing migration and I should make use of the paper statement however I intend to use NSE
My dad is visiting their head office today. Will that help?
Is there any advice anyone can give me because I'm really struggling to meet up with this May 15 deadline?[/quote]

which branch did your sponsor eventually get one and also what was the procedure ?

Most branches in firstbank are not on the pilot phase so you will have to get the customer service of your branch to contact ebusiness dept in their head office lagos. To get the name of the staff in-charge pls contact the customer service number on ''visa-mybankstatement.com'' she will give it to you so your customer service officer can reach him or his department by mail. It cost 1000 naira and can paid via paydirect or quick teller.

I have shared my experience with you. Once your name is published for graduation, you can go for your statement.

I finished my programme since 2017 but my name was omitted for graduation, when I applied for statement they said "NO" until my name appear on the graduation list. I stay in Abuja and I know what I'm saying.

Very correct!

Who told you there is clearance or graduation coming up this year? Better wait till July. That's the latest for convocation. 12 working days to convocation, no graduation list yet and you want to do ghost clearance? New period of convocation is July.
Take this to your reliable source

Hi guys,
Please if you've finished your MSc course-work and project before the convocation date, can you request for your transcript and Statement of Result? Or do you have to wait till convocation/graduation before it can be issued?
You can only request if your name is on the graduating list.

Business / Bank Workers Move To Embark On Nationwide Strike by Room112(m): 10:32pm On Oct 17, 2017
Barely one month after university lecturers and resident doctors called off their nationwide industrial actions, bank workers under the aegis of Association of Senior Staff of Banks, Insurance and Financial Institutions (ASSBIFI) have given notice to the Federal Government of their intention to down tools over the recent sack of some of their members.

An official of the association, who disclosed this on condition of anonymity, said the sack of 281 workers by one of the old generation banks, was not justified as it did not align with the Labour Act and Collective Agreement. To drive home its resolve, the source said the association had forwarded a letter to the Federal Government through the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, notifying it of the association’s intention to commence the industrial action beginning with the affected bank on October 24, before inviting other banks to participate.
According to the letter dated October 11, 2017, and referenced ANS/ORG/ GO/YOS/338, which was obtained by our correspondent, the association noted that its decision followed previous notice already given to the bank on September 29, after several letters and meetings to enable both parties to resolve the impasse over the workers’ improper lay off.

According to the letter, “We will commence our action by calling on fellow Nigerians to make some withdrawals from their accounts with the bank to enable them to have enough provisions for the period of the industrial dispute. “Also, if there is no quick response, other banks will be called out on sympathy strike by the association.”

New Telegraph recalls that in the last one year, over 10,000 workers lost their jobs across all the banks in the country. A recent statistics released by National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed that 8,663 workers lost their jobs in the first half of 2017. The data showed that an average of 360 people were sacked every week from January to June 2017.

The figures were higher in the first quarter and lower in the second. It was also revealed that while the 8,663 lost their jobs, more contract staff were employed during the period. In the first quarter of 2017, there were 174 executive staff, but the figure reduced to 161 in the second quarter. From 20,483 senior staff in the first quarter, the number dropped to 19,826 in the second quarter.

The drop was larger in the junior staff category where the number dropped to 33,783 in the second quarter from 36,202 in the first quarter. However, the number of contract staff increased from 20,237 in the first quarter to 21,837 in the second quarter. The job losses have continued despite warning by the Federal Government in 2016 that banks should desist from sacking their staff.
