UnfairLife7: So apt
I served in a public school during my NYSC last three years and i was retained as a PTA teacher with very little pay as a 2.1 graduate, not a government teacher. The state government is currently employing teachers and i got to realise that if you don't know anyone at the top they won't consider me despite being in the system for some years, while those that just left school or not in the system would get appointment letter. Is it a crime i was born poor without having link or connection to any top person? Why must i have to know someone at the top before getting a job?
The rate at which Nigerian youths indulge in cyber fraud is quite alarming. Check your environment and you'd realised on able bodied young men roaming the streets daily with phone and short knickers. Even secondary school students are into it. They literally see anyone who doesn't belong as a fool and destined to be poor. They believe if you aren't affiliated to any politicians or came from a rich home, and you refused to do Yahoo like every other then you're bound to be poor. Two of my course mate relocated out of this country from the proceeds they got from Yahoo. Hardship in the country doesn't even help matter. Most average family cannot afford 3 square meal daily. Inflation has eaten up virtually everything. Those politicians are living large at the detriment of the masses. I don't understand how these politicians sleep at night when their subjects are dying of hunger. So sorry to hear about that brother... Abnormality is now the Modern Norm in Nigeria... Sigh... You nailed it brother Alot of this folks already asked me to either fall in line and learn this or better still die of poverty... And they have refused to support you as well because you don't expect them to help you from the same proceed you've vowed never to indulge in... What they will tell you is YOU NEVER READY... You either Join them or You Perish It's ironical that when you take a significant number of this Yahoo guys away from the economy, alot of Businesses will further crumble... So I believe the power that be are in indirectly in support of them... |

UnfairLife7: most young lad learning these skills are also jobless as a result of inability to afford working tools. Some has dumped their skills to hustle just to feed themselves. The country is up side down sir It's quiet unfortunate that alot of folks here keep hammering on acquiring skill after graduating not factoring in the fact that alot of today's graduate were Ill informed and majority of their parents had to break sweat so they could sponsors most of this Graduate and if you happen to be the first born, YOU ARE DEAD after NYSC and you are unable to secure a befitting placement. How many graduate of today has financial backing or support to obtain skill? How many has connections? And even the ones that are able to navigate their way through obtaining skill without support after graduating are able to obtain tools and start up? Even the ones that are able to still meet up with all that are lamenting due to the poor economy challenges. It's quiet unfortunate that alot are taking to Fraud to be able to put food on the table even whilst EFCC are on their tails more youth's are still taking to Fraud Because the POWER THAT BE refused to arrest the major CAUSE for this Anomaly buh rather chasing clout... Which serious government would watch whilst it teeming youths (Graduate) takes Crime as a means to an end and their body language is in affirmation... IF YOU DON'T KNOW SOMEBODY THAT KNOWS SOMEBODY THAT KNOWS SOMEBODY and you are from financially handicapped family, you are done for... Frustration and Depression is now the order of the day amongst the graduates as well as the masses... A quite significant number of Young adults are now HYPERTENSIVE... THIS IS NIGERIA |

bassdow: Cost ranges from ₦500 or ₦700 and above.
As for Me, I've got ma own clipper, Shampoo, Relaxer, Conditioner, Comb and headWarmer hence I cut ma hair once a Year.
In fact between year 2021 and year 2023, I cut ma hair just once meaning I cut my hair once in almost 3-years.
My headwarmer has become a regular part of my clothing. In fact a woman who have known me for close to 3-years once asked how I'm able to always wear it, and that even She as a woman can't cover her hair that long. most people haven't seen my hair for almost 3-years now since I made headwarmer part of my clothing. It's become so part of Me I wear it inDoors, and mostimes to bed sef.
And just for the record, I bought about 6 headWarmers at once and I rarely rotate them.
Even the day I cut my finally got to cut ma hair, I paid ₦300 after pricing them tightly. Next time, I would go to another place they wouldn't easily recognize me, and PRICE them again BUT that should be in 2 or 3 years time.
We wey our HAIR dey grow like say Village people dey apply fertilizer ontop am every Night, how I for fit dey go salon every 2 to 3 weeks for this economy.
Let things keep on INCREASING anyHow, we go adjust join. it's become survival of the FITTest.

Two to three weeks too much for me self 1 week my hair don full back 😩 |
