Using earpiece to answer calls basically reduces your exposure to radiation.
But any mshap that might result from this habit of making calls why charging might overwhelm the level of security earpiece has to offer. In a nut shell, my advise is simply unplug the device and then make or answer your calls and thereafter you can continue your charging.

If an explosion is to happen cos of heat, it would, weda with earpiece or earphone, what causes the explosion is the heat and radiation not to process of hearing or how far it is from the body

Its worse.. I remember two years ago an incident happened, a boy tried to receive call with earpiece while charging and it exploded. I've heard several cases involving earpiece. Although, I still believe it depends on the quality of earpiece. But prevention is better.

Kenya is 2 hrs ahead of Nigeria, but it does not mean that Nigeria is slow, or that Kenya is fast. Both countries are working based on their own "Time Zone."
