Great advice from you 006!! Thank you. Yes i do feel he is shy, there is feelings between us but they are unspoken and we have periods where we don't see each other, but when we do he is always near and its nice. Thats when i saw him looking me over i was quite shocked as he seems shy and i was surprised to see him do it and be so blatant about it!

Lol. I remain hopefull, but he seems a bit shy! But almost every time i see him comes over to talk to me or just hang out beside me. And this look he gave me seemed to confirm it, but as he is shy its not going anywhere!
Do you guys do it instinctivly, without even realising, or is it more, mmm let me have a closer look?

005 lol. Well i hope he was thinking positively about me lol. He was sitting and i was standing at the time, he then made an excuse to get up and go with me somewhere after that, at the time i was like, wow, i think he likes me! So do guys ever look over a woman they don't fancy?

A guy i really like and i was talking to recently did this to me, i was looking away as i was talking and i looked back and he was looking at me from top to bottom, i felt quite flustered and he was not fast at taking his eyes away either and i am sure he knew i saw him, does it mean he was admiring me, or not? Do men do it when they have no interest as well?

Wow that would be really hard. I am thinking that in time when he is more ready for a new relationship then it will happen, he may not want to move too fast which is understandable. He is in my thoughts most of the time, and each time we meet and there is this strong attraction between us, he is even more so in my mind! I just wonder if he thinks of me when we are apart as i do of him.

Here is an update, although things are not much different!

Since our last encounter, i have seen him twice, the first lots of people were around, we chatted a little but not a lot, and not alone.

The second time we were somewhere, i arrived before him, didn't expect to see him, so when he turned up i was surprised, not long after he arrived he ended up beside me one way or another and we stood in a group for an hour or so, not really talking to each other, but participating in group convo or one on one to others. But i did notice everytime i spoke to anyone, i could feel his eyes on me, watching me, it was really unnerving. But liked it. lol. That was the last time i saw him, i felt things were very positive between us but nothing has come of it since.

It is so frustrating, i know he likes me but seems to be too shy to take it any further. In the next few months i will be seeing him at different events, so i guess I will just have to wait and see if anything more develops.
Maybe he is just not ready for a new relationship, he is separated.

Well i sent a letter asking if we could keep in contact but have heard nothing back, so looks like he is not so keen, even thought there have been many signs he is, so i am so confused, and sad.

It seems a lot of men actually WOULD like it, takes the pressure of them!!

I didn't ask him out but i sent a letter letting him know i want to keep in contact and added my number for him to text me, its letting him know that you are interested but leaving the ball in his court thereafter.
I have had mixed reactions from him for some time, mostly very positive, but he seems a bit shy, and i like him so i decided to have a go, totally not me but hey, life is too short to be wondering!

I have not seen him for three weeks, but hopefully may do this weekend. Would like to have another good talk to him like a month ago, but depends if people around, he seems happier when its just us, relaxs and chats, as no one else about to judge him, i think.

Update: Well saw my friend over the weekend, both days people were around so no time alone, first day, we spoke within a group, saw him looking at me a bit, but low key. Second day, he continued to act like we had no feelings towards one and another, if i ended up standing near him, he would move away slightly, if i talked to him one on one at all, he would not make much eye contact, speak a bit but then would move away. This happened about 3 times, but at one point when he went in to a shed and had his back to me i went to my car to get a drink out, but the time i got to the car, unlocked it and got my drink and turned around again, he was standing at the edge of the building watching me, he must of moved so fast to see where i had gone to, when he realised i had disapeared, was he worried his actions had upset me and i was leaving, or what? Its really getting to me, i feel he likes me but then why the pretending in public that he has no feelings? I won't see him for another 10 days or so, but unless we are alone at any time i am not going to know what his feelings are as he acts like just a friend or less in public!

I am now sure he does like me so things hopefully will continue to go well Can't wait till i see him again!

Yes, maybe i wasn't looking closely enough and i just had to think about what he was really thinking.

I approached to ask him a question which he answered favourably, then later i went back up to him and mentioned something i had seen and had he seen it and then told him about something that had happened when i was at this thing which was amusing and that got us talking. It was weird cos normally i wouldn't approach but i just did it and it all flowed really well! So for anyone who is unsure about a guys feelings, if you show some signs and you have to show a few cos guys just don't get it always, it will show whether he does like you or not!

Thanks shilling! Yes men are so hard to read, here i was thinking he was not interested in me when all along he was interested and just shy of showing his emotions incase of rejection, as i was! Making an approach from me was all it took and the difference between us was amazing! He had been approaching me before that and i thought i was clear in showing him i liked him but i must of been hiding my emotions still too well!! ha .

Yes it is great! He is defintely interested and that became apparent when i approached him instead of him approaching me for a change, he got the message it seems! He seemed very happy and the conversation flowed oh so well!

Had a very positive time with him today, I approached him twice and he responded very well! I am feeling much better abouit it all and got vibes from him that he likes me back! Yay!

O.k, i understand now, and i would NOT reject him if he told me he liked me!!!! I will see him tomorrow i think so i am going to be really friendly and pleased to see him :

I would love to know, but asking him i cant seem to do, i would feel an idiot if he looked at me like i was mad if i said, do u like me, cos he didn't! I just keep analysing the situations!

Update, saw this man again today unexpectedly, i saw him at an event, when i arrived i was the only one there waiting for others and he was in his car, he got out of his car almost immediately and said hi to me and walked past me and stood a bit of distance past me, we made a bit of small talk, then he went into a building and i went for a wander for a few mins. When i came back, i sat down and after about 5 mins he also came out and sat away from me on something else, more small talk, on and off for about 10 mins. Nothing concrete to say YES he really does like me, it was his perfect oppotunity to talk to me and show it as no one was around, but it was actually just very awkward and small talk, so i don't think he feels the same way about me. When he got out of the car as soon as i arrived, i was like wow that was fast but then it all kind of went flat cos nothing but small talk went on and he kept a bit of distance. He would have to be the hardest guy ever to work out!

I don't think anything i would write in a card would have anything useful as black mail! But i know what you mean, u do have to be careful if you write anything down.

Lol, rejection is the thing that stops me. But i will give it some more thought.

Should i send him a card telling him i like him? I would send it anonymously but maybe add my cell ph number. Really out of my comfort zone to do it but i really want to know if he feels the same, then we can move on either way. I have had positive vibes from him and then weird reactions to my presence as well, but i just am not sure. I really need to know and i have decided life is too short to wait and wonder for ever.

Yes, thats what worries me, i don't believe in women telling the men, but i live in hope if he feels that way about me he will take it further!!!

So u think it would be cos others were there and he didn't want anyone to know how he felt about me as it may have been obvious, hence way he looked away and acted like he was not part of the group?

Yes he did acknowlege the the fact i was there by suddenly going quiet and not looking at me and looking away, but why do u think he did it ? They say if u like someone its harder to make conversation with them then with someone u have no feelings for.

Thats great advice kpolli, thank u! A good friend of mine said similar to me, she said he is shy and wanting me to show him something more so he knows how i feel. So if a guy knew you liked him and he didn't like you, would he react like that or not? If it was me i would be quite happy to know someone liked me and i wouldn't react in a negative way, i would have talked to the person quite happily. Then again if someone u liked joined the group u were in wouldn't u want to talk in the group with that person there? Or does it really make the person shy away just like he did.

Wow, i like the sound of that!! I really hope he does but i still have doubts about why he acted like he did. Or was he trying not to let on by his face how much he liked me and turned away for that reason? Or was not keen for his friends to see how he felt? I am told he was part of the conversation and fine till i arrived and then he dramtically had this reaction and another person also noticed. I am still having niggling thoughts that he did it cos he knows i like him and he was trying to give me a hint that he was not interested. But if that is the case, why talk to me at all, cos he did a bit later on, if he really didn't like me he would not make an effort to do so that, right?!
I am thinking of sending him a Valentines card with a message inside saying how much i like him and perhaps my cell ph number so he can text and guess who he thinks its from, but i am not sure incase i am wrong about him having a feelings for me, i dont want to look like a fool.
