Those of you born after the era of the great Adokiye Amiesimaka, have no idea what you missed. Adokiye was the Super Eagles No 11. An attacking left winger with the most glorious dribbling skills you can ever imagine. https://i0.wp.com/www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Adoyoki.jpg?w=600&ssl=1 His counterpart on the right was the great 'Mathematical' Segun Odegbami, Nigeria greatest ever No 7, and another dribbling genius in his own right. Adokiye was the embodiment of sexy football. Other candidates of latter years were Kanu and Finidi George. But Adokiye was the master. Watching Adokiye dribble players as he rolled down the left wing, to either then move in to the box himself, or cross to Segun Odegbami to finish up, was the highlight of Super Eagles games in the late 70s and early 80s. He earned his nickname 'Chief Justice' because he was studying law while playing for the Super Eagles. If only we had videos of all the skilful moves of Adokiye Amiesimaka .... NTA, how far na? KAI. There are very few teams, if any, that the Super Eagles cannot beat on their day. They are definitely better than that silly 35th FIFA ranking. In my book, they're among the top 15 teams on earth, and could well be in the Top 10, in terms of the sheer quality of players at our disposal. They're almost as talented as the famous 90s squad. In some ways they're even deadlier, with the likes of Osimhen and Chukwueze filing in roles in truly world class pedigree. Eagles just need a better coach than Rohr. |
Charly68:China's population is 2 billion. India 1.1 billion What is their ranking? |
chaloskyx:NIGERIANS DON'T BELIEVE THE CRAP. IT IS EVEN IN THE WESTERN WORLD THAT MILLIONS ARE DUMB ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THE SCAMDEMIC WHILE THEIR GOVTS LOCKDOWN AND DESTROY THEIR COUNTRIES' ECONOMIES.. |
SCAMDEMIC ONLY THESE WHITE POLITICIANS, CELEBRITIES, AND THEIR BLACK HOUSEBOYS IN AFRICA CALLED 'LEADERS', EVER CATCH THIS SO CALLED ''COVID''. FOR SOME STRANGE REASON IT JUST SEEMS TO AVOID AGBEROS ON THE STREET, COMMON PEOPLE AND MARKET WOMEN. |
Benmob:Semi literate dunce. I can barely make out the garbage you're typing. Sure America interferes everywhere, which is why God is interfering in her affairs now to bring her down. |
Ajeyo:No, YOU need a knock on your head to get you thinking straight. Nigeria is at peace compared to the likely result of any CNN/ American 'solution'. Just ask Iraq, Yemen, Syria, or Afghanistan. |
tutudesz:Now it is the fault of the ministry of Information. Anything to avoid blaming your oyinbo gods at CNN. Useless, worthless set of slaves with zero dignity and self esteem. |
Benmob:America owes China trillions of dollars. Does that give China the right to interfere in US internal affairs? China sends thousands of students to study in America and England each year. Does that give the latter the right to interfere in China's internal affairs? Don't bother responding, because you're a dunce like all the others here defending CNN's right to slander your country without evidence. |
goodheart02:Donkey, don't you think CNN ought to come and reveal the evidence they claimed to have of a 'massacre'? Or your dumb, thick skull reckons it's OK for them to make baseless accusations of mass murder against Nigeria without being held to account? |
dalongjnr:Our people reason like donkeys. It's pointless trying to talk sense with them. They will soon ask you how much you're being paid to 'support' the govt. That's the farthest their intellect goes. |
RuudVanNisteroy:Oh lawd...can someone tell these illiterate knuckleheads that Tokyo's annual budget is roughly 150 billion dollars, which is 6 times the annual budget of the entire Nigeria, and 50 times the annual budget of Lagos! Honestly, your education is wasted. Go and demand a refund from wherever you schooled. Educated illiterates. Go on. Post more Tokyo images and demand to know why Lagos is not like that! Block heads! |
Raydos:Do they have Nigeria's population? Name me one country on earth with an annual budget of just 35 billion dollars for over 200 million people? None except Nigeria. The country's No 1 priority is Economic Diversification, meaning that YOU, and all the other loud critics of Nigeria and the ''black race'' need to GET OFF YOUR ASSES, and start something - anything - that can generate productivity and wealth. The onus is on YOU, not Buhari, not other Nigerians, not the ''black race'', but YOU, to start something productive. |
Raydos:You're a liar from hell. How much has been looted that can possibly be ten times the Japanese budget, ie approximately 20 trillion dollars?? Do you even know how much Nigeria earns per annum? Mumu. Don't go and learn basic figures and statistics relating to the country you're criticising. Expert critic, yet you yourself, you're totally incompetent and clueless. |
Raydos:Did it occur to your thick head that the reason Lagos is not ''like Tokyo'' is this: Japan - Annual Budget: 1.9 TRILLION dollars Nigeria - Annual Budget: 35 billion dollars https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_government_budget See, instead of posting images of multibillion dollar skyscrapers and billion dollar city centers in Tokyo, and waffling naive, high school dropout idiocies about the 'black race', why don't you spend your time being the next Innoson, or Zinox, or Nord, or Flutterwave, or Paystack - See, these are all Nigerian pioneers in our industrialisation. These are the firms and startups helping to diversify our economy, so that we can generate the sort of national income that can build 'Tokyos'. They manufacture vehicles, computers and pioneer in tech solutions. They, and many other Nigerian firms, will be the industrial giants of the Nigerian and African future. They directly contradict your attacks on ''black people'', and THEY are the capable people we have. YOU are nothing but a worthless, online noisemaking clown who sucks white nuts for breakfast. |
AbijaJ:If you had told the average Nigerian two years ago that the US would hold a presidential election in which the loser would refuse to accept defeat, leading to violence across the country, as dissenters threaten secession, they would have asked you what you were smoking. ''Such things only happen in Nigeria and Africa'', they would say, with all the pomposity and assuredness they can muster. |

pocohantas:Thank you man. I don't understand this rice craze by Nigerians. I prefer boiled yam, moi moi, poundo, semo, akpu, amala, and other swallow-ables to rice, honestly. |
Aconomist:Your colonialist indoctrination and the western media's white supremacist propaganda output conditioned you to hate yourself, your skin colour, and your mother, and to call yourself a monkey. You're so conditioned and mentally enslaved, you're an embarrassment. As you point your finger in racial abuse at black people, guess what the other 4 fingers are doing? Dunce. |
. . Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery None but ourselves can free our minds Have no fear for atomic energy 'Cause none of them can stop the time How long shall they kill our prophets While we stand aside and look? Ooh Some say it's just a part of it We've got to fullfil the book Won't you help to sing These songs of freedom? 'Cause all I ever have Redemption song... - Bob Marley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOFu6b3w6c0 |
edoairways:Na small by small bro. Don't forget the colonial indoctrination was heavy. |
sammirano:See this one. You're so confused you don't realise you're confused. You're confused about your confusion. |
TimeTraveler369:Honestly bro. It's really good to see. I'm sure this style will soon start to trend. About time the women's own also changed. No need why they have to wear that white thing. |
Twutin:Truth. |
Twutin:No, it's not lies. In Ghana all you play is Nigerian music and watch Nollywood films. In fact I heard there was a time the govt there wanted to ban Nigerian music and films, but the Ghanaian public threatened to riot, so the decision was reversed. |
Everything points to things getting worse in America. These food lines could be just the beginning. The way Trump and his millions of supporters are refusing to accept defeat at the polls spells all sorts of trouble for that country. There is talk of civil war in the divided nation. Plus the covid scamdemic is leading to thousands of shut businesses and lost incomes. Biden's entry will increase the number and scope of lockdowns, and further tank the economy. |
Cjrane2:I got it from the Guardian which labelled it as Asaba: https://guardian.ng/opinion/delta-state-and-the-burden-of-underdevelopment/ |
SaintBishop:Oga this is 100% Asaba without prejudice. |

Do they regulate the reporters
. I eat it, but it doesn’t turn me on. We also used to make small rice, but they liked the soup because of everything happening inside it. With time we deleted rice.
