Only ube teachers have been receiving alert. Hmmmm

sad!!! Why always corpers whenever there is political tussle?

It's high time they stopped using corpers as ad-hoc staff in elections.

If she was the wrong woman were you the right man for her?

Lol

A pity. That's one reason why its good to be peaceable with all.

Lol guys and bobby is like 5 & 6

We have good sense of humor too.

This should even be the first reason.

With the present situation, hope they will still pay us our arrears cos its our turn to receive arrears.

Any insider with info on this should let us know.

Are u serious?Mine was paid complete but they didn't refund me.

They refunded my colleague and she was paid the complete amount.

2ruconfidence:
Ok,I wasn't ask to write any letter. They only collected my payslip.I pray they sort everything out.

Any deduction? Did they refund the money deducted? Mine was still reduced again.

dexpee4life:
. On gettiing to NUT's office, I was told that the deductions were for the arrears being paid and that everyone would also be affected in the future regardless of the present disparities in the salaries

So they finally found a lie to cover up the deliberate deduction (stealing). Initially they were acting like the over deduction was a mistake from their system. This one no be armed robbery in a different form?

Deductions were for the arrears indeed.

Corruption will never end in this country.

Gad2:
My computer no., full name and value of overdeduction was taken. the list is on his table.
but if while you were there, d director had access to the payroll server, he may have rectified it. that was how mine was finally sorted out. i hope to receive full salary for january + some refunds of d overdeduction.
let's just wait nd see how jan. alert will look like. take care.
Take note: i got thru on thursday 7th jan. and i am with SSSB. I wouldn't know if there is a very recent change in procedure.

I am with SSSB too. I wonder why he told me that it will be sorted out without collecting my payslip or details. Anyway lets wait until we receive alert.

2ruconfidence:
Did u later go to NUT office?

Yes I did. I was told to write a protest letter n attach it to the photocopy of my payslip, addressed to the chairman of NUT. I did n they collected it. Were you told to write letter too?

2ruconfidence:
They asked me to submit d pay slip which I did and the man told me that so many others came last week with their own pay slips.I was assured that it will be rectified.Their office is at no 1 Aba street by Iloabuchi

Ok thanks. 'will go there 'moro'

2ruconfidence:
From my own pay slip,d deduction was made by NUT,and the woman in d board ask me to take it to their office and not to ministry of finance.

Mine was NUT too. So, did u go? Was it rectified? More details pls.

Gad2:
Sorry, am tired with typing d process, u may call me on 08098820053 b4 monday because network is very poor at my station outside of ph.

Thanks for your assistance. I went to ministry of finance with my payslip and was told that it will be sorted out cos many others had same ish. When you did yours, did they write down your name? I asked cos he didn't even ask of my name or computer number so as to enlist mine amongst those that will b sorted out.

Anyone whose money was deducted, pls, I need to know the processes you went through to get it sorted out.

chinelany:
Union bank onpoint, double pay wt som deductions. God i thank you.

How much was deducted?

nick4lifeng:
how can salaries be paid through principals? are we going backwards or forward?

I wonder. My principal told us same thing too. Lets hope its not true sha.

I pray it doesn't.

Raxxye:
What is happening is some kind of audit to check ghost workers and determine exactly how much govt is spending on salaries. I personally prepared the one for my school.
What happened is that September salary voucher for all staff in the state was sent in soft copy to each local govt. We were asked to find the names of staff in our schools, write out their entire details(including basic, allowances, tax, deductions, etc), then find out the total gross(before tax) and net(after tax deductions) and then the sum total for the school.
There was actually no mention of principals paying salaries of staff, and I don't think that will happen!

Lemon1:
........my principal was filling some forms in duplicates today...he said it looks like what is going to happen.....he seems happy about it ...he said principals would have more power...i wonder what that means??...in Bayelsa..they still pay teachers tru d principals...principals collect 2k per head for transport plus all d fractions on top d salaries would disappear without explanation

OMG THis is getting serious mehn.

I heard from a parrot that salaries will b paid through principals(by hand) from next year, to check ghost workers. Has any1 heard such rumour?

passarella013:
Fcmb just paid, minus 5k, tai LGA and ube

minus 5k? why the deduction?

Oh my goodness!!!
