I am not a civil servant just analysing the obvious so many will be prepared and not meet them as a shock, hope for the best while preparing for the worst. It's when there is sufficient internally generated revenue or profit from sale of crude oil that ensures the continuous payment of civil servants. And when there is no money to go round (which we don't pray so) your rights to fight for payment of your salary becomes useless. The only federal parastatals that might likely to survive would be those generating revenue (if the political class don't divert the proceeds to pay for their allowances. )

The story making the rounds have it that a returnee from US, male, aged, and a retired diplomat tested positive to the virus in Lagos. He attempted to and was able to bribe his way and was let off to return to Kano, while no one in Kano was informed.

Upon returning to Kano, he didn't tell anyone of his status and began mingling with people. He even went for the crowded Friday prayers.

Somehow, he was discovered two days ago. Since then, aggressive testing and isolation has begun in Kano. The state is locking down all their borders today and is set to ensure a full lockdown.

But it appears the man did a whole lot of damage already. Expect more numbers from Kano today.

Oil prices have dropped drastically, and not only low price but Nigerian Government are trying hard to even sell at give away price but progress not so encouraging, there is currently embargo on federal government recruitment and it will take a miracle,using our reserve or loan to maintain most federal government workers salary and if the pandemic is not tackled on time, issues of laying of staff, half salary etc might be the norm, only jobs that can be successful executed online and company still make profit will thrive during the lock down.

I remember the first time i bought bole with fish in obio akpor . If you see how big the fish was eh. I thought it would be around 400 to 500 naira but to my surprise when i asked for the price the lady told me 200. I was so shocked i tot maybe something was wrong with the fish

This is the area where the useless poverty inflicted old man called abagworo lives in PH. This area is called Oraozi/Eligbam/Ebony. This is like the Ajegunle of Port Harcourt, but there's almost 17-20hrs light daily here. I don't know how the community got such favor. In the whole Port Harcourt they have the longest power supply.
