People, the block wall in that pool is called retention wall, it prevents the soil around the pool from pushing directly on the yet to be installed concrete walls.

I think all mr quick to comments without having knowledge of what we are doing will see the pics and this very sensible comment now.

But sometimes ago we do position it on left hand as yours but few years now we do it as It’s shown on my thread now…. You know we learn things everyday to make life easier

I can see my is right while yours is left.
But the best convenient position is right fixed.

Good question sir, the block wall here is just minor, the real wall for the pool is reinforced concrete wall and bed which is still in progress.i will post more pics as we progress. ( 150-160mm wall and 200-300mm floor bed)

But before then ( the pics ) there will be ground beam of 3m interval on both side of the floor area and wall area.

Just stayed tuned for more update pics as I promised, everything will be well understood

Yes, to clean bumbum.
It’s installed in right hand position then left hand will be used to clean the private part …. Right hand tools- left hand wash

Reinforced conc of 200-300mm will be laid on the bed here follow by 150-170mm for side wall which will be the main body of the pool

This is very rude and pompous. Where is your customer service? I would have introduced DPM from the start to prevent leakage by the way and you can then save up on the over "250 bed of pool"

But we have settled that naa my guy not client
200-300mm is the bed standard this doesn’t stop you by adding alll necessary waterproofing agent into your conc and bed floor. Here we have 4 diff waterproofing we are using for this project .
Even the ordinary blinding we used Julius berger made w/proofing made in Dubai … about 25ltrs for this aspect only
my client need to enjoy what they paid for

Let me school you more about it a little , block work come first then 150mm to 160mm reinforced Concrete will follow this in all 4 sides , then about 250 mm reinforced concrete will be the bed of the pool …hope you learn now.

Hello everyone, can someone please recommend a neater, respectable and cheaper alternative to P.O.P ceiling (the one that's constructed from scratch).
I'm personally not a fan because of the duration of construction, the expense, and also the wastefulness of materials. I'm also not a fan of the designs and the clownish lights that make bedrooms look like clubhouse or beer parlor.
I'm also not a fan of polystyrene for reasons like heat, fire, and lightness.

I'll appreciate if anyone can recommend other alternatives especially for bedrooms and kitchen. For the living rooms, POP can be constructed for them.

Expensive, waste of materials, time waste, not fans of lighting like club house, not fans of designs ….
The best alternative materials to all these is “ regular ceiling board”
