Yes that's exactly my goal,
I sometimes manage to get a new satellite with an extra lnb but what to use to hold it is the problem.

As for the compass, not it's not a compass but a Satfinfer which I believe digitman has revealed and explained what's all about at the previous page on this same thread?

Are you using a multiple lnb setup for all the satellites that you have tracked or you track one satellite,mark the position and switch to another satellite with the same lnb
