Don't make it sound like she has been waiting for life to pass her by. Your life dosen't begin when you get married and why are Nigerians so obssessed with this get married before 25 by all means mentality?

I don't think it is a bad idea, it depends on the purpose it serves.My kid sister got her first phone @ age 10. My mum neither takes her to school nor brings her home. So, all my sister does with the mobile phone is to inform my mum that she's on the bus to school, has gotten to school, at the bus station and on the bus back home.

MRbrownJAY: ^^^football practice, field trips, music classes, after class studies, private tutor etc the list is long. yes, some may have a driver that take their kids to school and back home, but many live in a world where their kids are out there in the real world.

27 is not too young to get married neither is it too old to also get married. There's a saying "that fishers of men should be wary of the sea they fish" since your desire is marriage you should look for the qualities you desire in a husband in anyone you meet. I mean basic attainable qualities and not those ones we usually dream of. If you can't find such in any man please don't waste your time hanging around and having fun with him when you know he isn't suitable for you.

Also,know that there is no such thing as Mr right. You make a man the right one for you when you decide to accept him just the way he is. Do not also think that single and responsible Nigerian men line our streets. If you decide to relocate because of this alone, you'll simply join the queue of spinsters hustling to get a man. Understand that there are competitors everywhere. Let people around know you are single, go out more, get involved in your church and of course always look your best and don't act desperate. You might meet him anywhere and through anyone. All the best.

The house in question is your father's obi and that was where he lived during his lifetime. So,according to customary laws, it belongs to the diokpala who is now contending the property with you. In my 'not to short' stay in the east I have come to realise, the reverence given to this paticular custom. It seems your step brother hasn't avered his mind to the fact that your customary law is not applicable here.

Since you said your parents married under the act, and your father died without making a will, the customary laws of your place would not apply but the administration of estates laws.

Firstly, you should retain the services of a lawyer and As uche rightly said,apply for letters of administration. Then, your step brother can contend the grant of the letter if he wants.

Do not be intimidated or threatened by your step brother. Even if he takes you to court before you obtain the letter,do not panic. He cannot wake up from his slumber after 19 years and expect miracles like this to happen. Hope for the best.

Are there single and desperate ladies who only want to raise a child without the commitment of marriage? Just asking cuz in my 120 years of living, I haven't seen any.I have only seen ladies DESPERATE TO MARRY. Btw why use the word deperate? I guess its a preference.

I have had several dreams and experiences in the past and I strongly believe God exists. Though I don't live a perfect life or act like I do but I believe in an external force and I'm convinced it is God. None of my beliefs are as a result of my pastors teachings,they are a result of my experiences.

I don't think any length of insult would work magic. I'm sure you know better than this. At the end of the day,you'll end up being alone because he would go back to his family and still make sweet love to his wife. You have put your life on hold for him and he has continued living his own procreating. You should take a break, think deeply and pull out because at the end of it all,he'll always have his family. You can do it. It only depends on how determined you are.

It looks like the girl is greatly distracted, yet still likes you, knows you'll do anything for her and she has just began to take advantage of it. It'll only get worse and you'll get hurt.
