Came across this online and decided to share. Due to rising cases of Covid19 in the state, the state government has set up mobile court in strategic locations across the state for defaulters of Covid19 preventive measures. Earlier today, a resident was arrested for not wearing face mask. He was then arraigned before the judges and consequently found guilty of the offence and his punishment was pronounced to pay the sum of N1000 as fine. See receipt below.

No be today we dey suffer for this country. I have had countless experiences of this nature working in similar conditions. In my own case while working on finishing area on a bungalow, the local wooden scaffold collapsed with the Mason man that was on top and everything came crashing down on me including the newly laid blocks. I was directly under the scaffold as I was trying to pack sand from there. I thank God none of us died although we sustained injuries. Ask me how much was the money. N1200/day. This is just one scenario. Man don suffer for this life o. May God brighten our future. 1 Like |
