Thanks. I saw v4.10p by sameer and v4.15 by heywizkid. but the v4.10 is more recent(february). Do the versions matter? Or I just go ahead and download the v4.10p.

Version 4.10 was created 30Dec2016 while version 4.15 was in 24Jan2017. Check d file names & you'll see those details.

@ Chinedu, I want those fringe birds in the East (Intelsat20C, Apster, etc). Would I succeed with Startimes 1m dish using scalar ring? I'm in FCT. Thank you.

As a newbie you get 7slots not 6. Probably your other gigs haven't been checked out by potential buyers better still check them again to see where you may have gone wrong.

Now if you are going to do well in Graphics & Design niche you really need to go learn Adobe Design apps from Photoshop,Illustrator & InDesign especially.

From your gig photos i can guess you used CorelDraw(if i were a buyer)which is okay but you have to improve a lot because your present skillset won't cut it am afraid.
Go to Youtube subscribe to @TastyTuts download the videos there.

Another issue is your use of English,cross check your words for typo errors.With the title of "Design Eyes Catching Business Cards" which is wrong you have chased your buyers away. You're meant to use samples of a logo or actual poster you designed as a mockup not just pictures from the internet. Go through other top rated sellers' profiles to learn from them(not copy Ooo) Check www.freedesignresources.net for mockups & templates.

Derrick, I use CorelDRAW a lot and I'm yet to encounter a buyer who raises dust about that. But pls tell, hw do you know, at a glance, a CorelDraw graphic design from that of Adobe package? Thanx

These are the tracking tps for apstar 7 @ 76.5 east 3985 H 03700, 3920 H 28340, 03799 H 04330. Thaicom 5@ 3545 V 30000, 3960 V 30000, 3520 H 28125. Dish size 8ft and above.

Can 1m dish with scalar ring substitute 2.4m dish for these Sats, including 68.5E? My problem with 2.4m is d wind. Fed up with wind nuisance & since dismantled my 2.4m since I cannot motorise right now.

I'm however trying to get 1m dish to strap to d side of my overhead tank support. Thanks.

Dunno what u wanna do with it but I'll seriously advise u to rather learn Adobe Illustrator as it is the widely accepted industry standard equivalent of Corel Draw - in terms of graphic designs. I consider myself 'grounded' in CorelDraw but each time I'm being reminded to upscale to Illustrator so as to conform with industry standards. CorelDraw is great but if I were starting out like you now, I'll go the way of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc)

I saw someone sharing ideas to designing without photoshop then thought within myself that for how long would you do that. A graphic designer without photoshop? Please take your time to sit with your computer morning till night daily learn through tutorials, it worth it. If you do this for a month trust me you will be happy you went through the stress.

But I have been designing for years without Photoshop. There are many packages for graphic design; its all a matter of which works best for you.

why do naija people wth foreign ip equally make above-average sales? why do people wth 'female avatar or pix' also make headway? that answers your question. however, you shld keep tweaking yr profile, then respond to buyer requests by extracting & including key words/sentences the buyer used in his request. sometime this thing can be luck. for highly saturated niches, buyers do appear to prefer people of 'their origin'.

Great thread, kudos to Beatzone & his 'gang' of active contributors. Started from first page thru to pp183 before catching up. I'm in logo design/graphics niche and flying Naija flag. Though I'd joined Fiverr b4 discovering this thread, i"d benefited a lot frm the contributions. Joined Fiverr last December but created gigs in June. Since then, no buyers (perhaps because I had no reviews) & i'd vowed never to buy reviews. Only last week, a buyer came, saying that "I received multiple offers to do this, some for a lot cheaper, but your response was actually personalized which told me that you had read my ad.". It ended well - with five stars & a nice tip.

So, I'll be throwing in contributions whenever I have. Appreciation to everyone.

Is yr 68e CBand lnb? Yr pix isn't very clear. I expect to see scalar ring there; except if you're only after d Ku band channels on that Sat

4950H is not a bad option though not as good as 4922a or 4922D+

Routsz may we know ur signal quality, type of lnb, Position of ur lnb pls. Also post picture of ur set up. I tried it on 1.8m here in Abuja but keep getting startimes

Mujaya1’s post on page 1215 of this thread should give you general directions. But before then,

1) Ensure your dish petals (or segments) are not deformed. You may need to work on them if they are.
2) The LNB should be set at the right focal point (684mm for Strong 1.8m pan).
3) Your dish base must be stable on a horizontally level surface.

When I got green 11938H27500 on 9E skewed @ 5 o’clock (Startimes), I then skewed my LNB to 8 o’clock and signal became red. I began to move the dish a little at a time in all directions. And within 15 minutes I hit green.

Signal Quality – 78%
LNB – Premium HD Gold (any regular Ku LNB should do)
Skew – 8 o’clock
STB – SRT 4950H V3.47p

Finally, finally locked Eutel 9E a few hours ago. In all,155 channels (blind scan) popped up. Location is FCT. Dish; 1.8m strong pan

All this lnb screw or skew mantra doesn't really apply. Mine was even offset Ku lnb setting that worked.

The lnd is facing 9:00.

How u rotate or skew yr lnb in its holder almost always matters for every sat. signal, 9E nclusive. We've had varying "tutorials" on this 9E matter, yet some of us can't still lock this sat. down. For those that have tracked it, there must b something key that u guys probably aren't telling us yet - and we are yet to find out ourselves. For now I have decided to stay out of d sun & do further fact-finding on it. kudos

I kept wondering why the so much buzz about tracking eutelsat 9b on 9e. Haven tracked the sat, i can categorically say its not worth the effort except of course you have a cccam account. 98% of the 230channels i got on that bird are broadcasting in German & scrambled safe for BBC, deluxe music & viva/comedy central. So if you're yet to track it, pls do save yourself the stress!

PS; I miss the good old days when CFI, CNN, Skysports, Sportsmax, Hispasat were all rocking our sat dishes in the west as FTA......!!!

Don't understand. Is AFN, digisports no longer there? Aren't they English?
