Infinityk:So they have to drop their fundamental rights to build skyscrapers and industrial robots. For the records: hijab is a basic part of our dress code. No Muslim will call for enforcement of male caps, turban or niqab. But to ask a Muslim girl to remove hijab is inhuman. |

udatso: Strength could mean Jihad if it's an Islamic country. Strength for any average Muslim community(e.g Naija Muslims) could be Voting strength, Economic strength, Intellectual and more . Allah knows best |
Islam for Muslims / Re: Islamic Rulings On Birth Control by rowrowland: 4:27pm On Apr 19, 2019 |
Sterope:I never said one-wife-one-child is a sin. I'm saying liking it because it's the rave of the moment signifies weak understanding and faith. The ideal is a large family. If Allah blesses you with wealth, health and time you should have a large family( except for some valid reasons known only to you) 50% of your worship is in your family life. Its a great act and we should all aspire for it, not the other way. Islamentality not Colomentality |

MisterGrace:What if we break China into 100 small countries; will those nations become prosperous due to their small populations? At least that solves overpopulation question abi the whole world itself is overpopulated?! |
Islam for Muslims / Re: Islamic Rulings On Birth Control by rowrowland: 10:34am On Apr 19, 2019 |
Sterope:Islam too wants us to cater for our children to the best of our abilities and resources- with plenty du'aas too. Even if free foods are being shared, that should not be the hope of a Muslim family man. I think the main issue is that a Muslim must not develop a deformed mindset. 1. Remove the fear of poverty from your mind and replace it with piety 2. Dont desire one-wife-one-child family style because you think its the ideal; its actually a concession. 3. Replace 2 above with desire for many children who are upstanding in faith, morals and skills. And work towards it. If after all these, all Allah permits is one-wife-two-kids, no wahala. Allah knows best. |
Islam for Muslims / Re: Islamic Rulings On Birth Control by rowrowland: 9:37am On Apr 19, 2019 |
In Islam, the issue of marriage and procreation is a serious matter of faith and worship. It goes beyond personal whims as most people think(we have degenerated in understanding and piety). The fear of poverty is the No.1 fear 99.99% of Muslims have- even the fear of Allah is way behind on the list. Presenting the original position of the deen concerning procreation will make sense to only a few. Living Islam has become a misnormal and everything is upside down. The justice that is required to actualise a balanced Muslim community is also not there. The few who understand will do as commanded while the rest will continue to go with the flow. In the fullness of time the essence of the Islamic position will become obvious. 1 Like 1 Share |

Islam for Muslims / Re: Islam: Protest And Labour Strike by rowrowland: 5:31pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
DBPOWER: Dear brother, this is a very false statement. Who says ordinary citizens- especially those billionaires opposing the govt cannot pay better. That saudi is not in ruins today is Allah's mercy via these prominent knowledgeable scholars. You see, rulers will come and go, Tawhid must remain. Don't allow unnecessary emotions to push you out of bounds. If 100 people rise for a revolution, rest assured there may be 100 different interests( will become evident after the coast clears up). |
Islam for Muslims / Re: Islam: Protest And Labour Strike by rowrowland: 5:20pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
It is not a bad idea to have opposing views. However, we must very open and not incline blindly to a side even in the face of strong evidences. We came alone and will be judged alone, so brothers let's forget "this is my school of thought" on matters, rather we should look at the strongest evidence. That way, we'll be closer to the truth. |
