I guess a lot of people went to NIIT thinking they'd be spoonfed(because they paid huge amount). Sorry, it's never like that. If you can study online or look for a tutor, and then go for a vendor certification - that's it. You save plenty. Many years ago a lot of guys left NIIT and ran back to me to learn Java1.4 grin

Our interest free bank may be empty for now, it won't be forever. A lot of people aren't drawn in yet but it'll get better. Having an interest free account is a religious obligation (except when unavailable)

Let's advice our wards and kin on their choice of course. All those problematic courses that are irrelevant "deenically" should be jettisoned.

E.g. Insurance, Marketing (especially for a Muslimah), Philosophy, among others.

But these are beautiful courses oga(especially Marketing). A 4-year course is a combination of many knowledge areas. Career advice is what people need.

It's not about Christan vs Muslim matter. This is about public security. It's sad that there are too many low-lives on nairaland. Imagine most of the early commenters. FFK is not a believer; he's only playing a game of relevance and he found religion useful. Too bad for all of them.

3&4 works for me. Been doing it for many years. I have many children (at least by naija standards). My understanding is that, yes planning is very, very important, but we should not deliberately undermine the glorious aim of having many kids in the name of modernity. As the patterns read, marriage itself will become old skool, multiple procreation will become distasteful to most women.
