Update: In summary and conclusion, on January 31st, when I heard what GTB did to some of their dorm users, automatically converting their dollars to naira... Lol. As a result, I decided to start a new thread and copied the relevant authorities once more. On February 1, I got a response from one Abimbola, and after a few exchanges, I was told to wait for another 3 working days, which took 10 working days.

On February 14, I got an email informing me that my account was actually deleted, and they provided no reason why and asked if they should reactivate the account. Of course, reactivate it and let me clear out my money. I also inquired as to why the account was deleted, but received no response; instead, I received an email informing me that my account had been activated. I was able to log in, convert, and withdraw the balance. Somebody shout Hallelujah!... Lol. I asked again after withdrawal, and till now, I have gotten no response as to why my account was suddenly deleted without notice or violating any of their terms and conditions.

Remember how I said in the first post that it was likely someone on the team deleted my account? I guess that theory is on point. It shows how unsecure customers' data and funds are if an undisciplined team member can access a company's admin panel or user database and just delete a user account. If an account can be deleted by a team member, that means your balance can also disappear. So pe otilo... Lol

If I eventually get a response as to why my account was deleted with no just cause, I will still update the thread. Thank you!

Wow, I want to believe it's because the bank, though looking promising, lacks industry experience when it comes to security else by enhancing security features in their banking system, it would leave no leaking holes for the money to escape like that by fraudulent and inconsideate criminals. I think they have learned their lesson. It's an opportunity or room for growth. Gaining industry experience doesn't have to look shiny, sometimes you need to get through murky scenarios. I pray they are able to recover the said amount and get back on ground.

I have contacted some credit companies, and their requirement says I must provide at least 6 month bank statement of my business meaning I should have been in business already. I don't have any to access their loans but I have a solid business plan that will enable me pay back without defaulting.

These don't give loan to early stage business because they know the risk involved. And I understand that too. But what if the business is successful?

They don't ask for business plans from early stage business owners. The way they do is that they have to follow their requirment like the 6 month bank statement.They don't allow the room for asking for the business plan of early stage business owners to see if it's worth financing their buiness.

With my business plan, I can argue that there is very less to to no risk involved. Else does anyone know which financial institutions may be ready to evaluate my business plan to consider me for a loan?

It's absolutely the best time of the year to to make investments. We are heading towards the Q2 (2nd quarter of the year). We're still in Q1 (1st quarter).

Going by the title of the thread, I am looking for any interested investor looking to invest in ideas and startups or in a private equity.

Personally, I just know it's not common to look for these kinds of investors here on Nairaland. But I guess I could be lucky to find one or more that are godsend. I believe the investor may find it generally worthwhile if we work together. I I have a field in IT and Engineering and I am very business savvy and have organization skills.

As an investor, you don't have to have any prior knowledge concerning the business concept or field. Particularly, it entails IT and Engineering. What you may be after is the company's ROI & giving your best advice to the company based on your role as an investor. If you have it then it's also very ok. But I am also looking for someone who is versed with scaling a business as it would be a big benefit.

I have ideas that are on incubation or pre-seed stage but with no or very few funding. And, for this reason, I know it's not worth stating but I have shares available for sale.

For now, I am not specific due to the pre analysis of budgetaries. But for now, there are 10,000 unit of shares available. Each at N500.
So how much you can buy depends on how much stake you have plus asset ownership.
If you have 95% then you have 95% right and to right make decisions in the company depending on your investor role.

I want to give my investor the right in making decisions for the company. There's a very small disadvantage that comes with it according to the principles guiding corporate finance. That is: the dividend share price will not be as high as the investor on mute. This doesn't mean you wouldn't be getting your returns on investment. The advantage is that as an investor you own proportions of the asset which may be liquidated at your will and the decision made by the founder (me). I need not say this to the experienced investor who knows how corporate finance works.

I am not in a rush to kickstart the business. Because of the things the be considered, I am scrutinizing carefully like performing feasibility study and evaluating the viability in order to reduce possiblity of unecessary risk before making agreement with the interested investor.
