Okay guys, something happened recently.

I guy got promoted in my office recently (about three weeks ago). So I bump into him and his wife last weekend; after exchanging pleasantries, I congratulated him and his wife on the big promotion. I was shocked to find out his wife did not know about it. He tried to get out of it by saying he wanted to surprise her etc, and they both tried to laugh over it, but I could see the look of anger and disgust on the wife's face as they were leaving.

I felt bad cos it seems like I caused wahala between husband and wife; but really not my fault. I haven't seen the guy since then, but I am just wondering why a man wouldn't tell his wife about such a big promotion. Was a big deal promotion.

My brother, there was another tale I heard about these fraudsters, they went to a nearby Police station to get a police officer through the DPO, he made the Police Officer looked like his escort. Some weeks ago this my long time friend called me, an argument came up and I didn't even want to hear him out, all of a sudden I realised he was crying on phone saying it's because I know he loved me so much am treating him so bad. When I heard that, I felt sober and guilty and thought about everything that even with everything I have done to this guy he never gave up.

People say I’m judgemental, lacking empathy, not humble and am too harsh/direct. It really hurts, how can I be a better person?
Someone just told me that I am too direct and it’s a complete turn off. I’ve heard this a lot in my life from others but I never took their advice because I would look at them and think well they aren’t perfect either. But since she's said it, it's finally resonated within me and I'm so completely ashamed. I've just had a big flashback of all the times where I've been a c*** but didn't realised and blamed out or felt sorry for myse

I was shy when I was younger and I think in the process of trying to be more extraverted I’ve completely over-compensated and become someone people don’t want to be around. A lot of the time I get way too nervous and talk too loud/long and I don’t even know nor connect with what I’m saying. A part of me when I’m speaking is thinking “why are you acting like this?” or I would say something really stupid that I don’t even believe in and someone will shut me down and I would totally agree with them but I just couldn’t stop myself at the time and then I feel silly and like a phoney and like a child. I will really like to be a better person. It’s a shame because I know deep down I am a really solid person. And the people that really know me (very few) know I’d do anything for them and I have a lot to offer. I’ve just built this weird lame façade to get on in the world even though it wasn’t/hasn’t been working for me. I want to be a better person, who enriches people’s lives and asks nothing in return. If anyone knows what I’m talking about would greatly appreciate your feedback..
