When he used merit to appoint his officers back in 1984, we all knew what happened to him.

It will be foolish for an older and wiser Buhari to repeat the same mistakes of the past and leave the military and command center to people he cannot trust.

Hopefully the coup attempt in Turkey is not another attempt to resuscitate the Arab Spring in Egypt, Syria, Iraq and all theMiddle East countries currently facing devastating wars.
