Are People who are not well to do more religious than the "comfortable" people in the society?

Is religion truly an opium for the poor?

I have been watching T.B Joshua church online this evening and realised that even though there are "richly dressed" peeps there but the majority are kinda of the opposite.

Many Africans (Nigerians especially) tend to see all problems as spiritual. They want to fast and pray their way into the millionaires club!!!

Prayers can move mountains if you believe.....

This mantra makes most African Christians lazy.
I believe most Pastor-Preneurs already know this fact and are exploring it to the fullest.

Societies that don't see every situation with the spiritual eye seem to be faring better.

I just hope many will wake up and be mentally pragmatic with their lives than this unbelievably archaic spiritual bondage they are in.

Lollz.... They need not be "jobless" to keep plugging their phone... They only need regular charge soon as the battery is down... And in other countries they don't hoard electricity like you do in Nigeria.... There are sockets available almost every where to charge ur phone for free.
