On a recent talk show which the beautiful daughter of Rwanda President Paul Kagame was a guest – where relationship matters were discussed, the daughter of the president says women can be beautiful without wig and makeup and work for their own money, not depend on men to pay their bills.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo today commissioned a first of its kind in the sub-saharan Africa, the 300million litre tank farm sited at Ibefun in Ogun State and Owned by the Petrolex Oil and Gas Limited.

This newly built ultra modern tank farm, has the capacity to turnover 600 million litres of petroleum products every month, enabling products to be stored and distributed effectively and more efficiently, for better services and higher turnover.

The event was graced by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, represented by Senator Dino Melaye, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, represented his Deputy, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, Oyo, Abiola Ajimobi, Benue, Ortom former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.

Sylvia Nayiga married to John Mubiru gave birth to her bouncing baby boy on 1st December 2017.

The couple has not been having children for the past 4 years until this woman started working at a Chinese Super market in Ntinda and her boss probably gave her the right medicine from China. Mr Mubiru is reported to have accepted the child as being his own but his relatives have protested.

It was gathered that this happened after a man promised her Marriage, The woman had initially told him that she had never given birth to any child, The woman said it was the only opportunity for her to get married since her man never wanted a woman who has ever gone to labor, she couldn't afford loosing this Golden opportunity of Marriage because of a mere child, When she saw her child in a deep sleep, she used this opportunity to bury the baby alive.

His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari accompanied by His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR and His Excellency Abubakar Badaru visited Gerawa Oil Mills Limited and Fullmark Rice Mills Limited, in continuation of the president’s 2-day official visit to Kano.

The N18Billion Gerawa Oil Mills is the biggest oil mills in West Africa with a capacity of 1,200 tonnes daily, and when fully operational will employ 5,000 people.

Fullmark Rice Mills is the biggest rice mills in Kano State, and over 90% of the factory is manufactured locally in Kano, within the vecinity of the factory.

This visit concludes President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2-day official visit to Kano, and the President departed to Daura by road, accompaniedby the governors of Kano and Jigawa.

Zimbabwean First lady, Grace Mugabe is leaving her twenty one year marriage over concerns about her role as an irresponsible former First Lady of Zimbabwe and a bane on the nation’s economy.
The world is in shock today after sources close to the Mugabe family confirmed that Grace Mugabe has filed for divorce on Wednesday.
The South African born woman has voiced concerns over her role as the former First Lady of Zimbabwe, claiming that it’s about time she enjoys some peaceful life and she is not prepared to be ridiculed for the years ahead, her ostracism and her husband’s resignation as the leader of Zimbabwe have gradually grown into life threatening headache.

Judiciary spokesman, Lawrence Brown has confirmed divorce proceedings were in motion and if both parties agree, they could go their separate ways in about a month.
Throughout her husband’s presidency she had supervised the government’s poverty relief programmes and a strong force behind women’s affairs in ZANU–PF.

Nigerian universities set for fresh crisis as NAAT, NASU, SSANU commence indefinite strike on Monday.
The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) and National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) have directed all their branches nationwide to resume indefinite strike on Monday, December 4.
This directive was given in a letter to all the branch chairmen of the non-teaching staff unions in the universities, under the umbrella of Joint Action Committee (JAC), titled, “Directives to immediately resume the suspended strike,” signed by Samson Chijioke Ugwoke (SSANU), Chris Ani (NASU) and Sani Suleiman (NAAT).

My fellow Zimbabweans, I am writing this letter and hope that all of you will read it and share it.
My days on this earth are numbered, but I know that once I am gone, you and your children will never forget about me.
I have just resigned as your President!
I want you to understand that the reason I have stayed long in power, 36 years on, is because I want to empower all of you my fellow black Zimbabweans. No other president in the entire continent of Africa has done what I have done for you, but you continue to take me for granted.
Do you know that in the whole of Africa, Zimbabweans are the only blacks who own their land? We are the only blacks who own and run means of production, we own our own companies, our own land. That is the true meaning of independence. Political and economic independence.
I have fought tooth and nail my entire political life to ensure that all of you have both political and economic independence. I don’t hate white people, no, not at all. What I hate is their thinking that they are better than us, that they can just come to our country and take our resources and our land, and tell us what to do. To that I say no.
Today, I am happy that almost all the land is in black hands.
It is up to you to use the education I gave you to develop the land so it is productive so you can feed yourself. One thing I am proud of is that I worked hard to ensure our natural resources and our land was given back to its rightful owners: you the black people of Zimbabwe.
Go to other countries in Africa. Right here just across he Limpopo, in South Africa, Mandela sold out and gave all the land and economy to the whites. The blacks in South Africa will be slaves to white South Africans forever. As long as land is not in the hands of its rightful owners, the Africans, the black man will continue to suffer in his own land.
The real wealth is now in your hands, I wrestled it away from the white people who came to steal it from you. Yes, the world was angry at me and punished the whole country with sanctions, but I don’t care because I know I was doing the right thing. I was empowering my people. You.
Take care of the land and the industries I have you.
I did my part, the ball is now in your court. Do your part.
You will remember me and appreciate me for what I have done for you when I am gone.

Rwanda has offered to give refuge to around 30,000 African migrants stuck in Libya often in enslaved conditions.

It comes in the wake of a video, released by CNN last week, showing men being auctioned off as farm workers.

"Given our own history we cannot remain silent when human beings are being mistreated and auctioned off like cattle," the foreign ministry said.

Hundreds of thousands of Africans travel through Libya every year as they try to make their way to Europe.

They are often held by smugglers and forced to work for little or no money.

The Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN, Dr Umaru Radda has said that lack of skills and entrepreneurial competence were some of the reasons Nigerian graduates were unemployable.
The DG stated this in Amawbia, near Awka, Anambra State capital during the opening ceremony of the sensitisation on the young business owners in Nigeria programme held on Thursday.
He said as a result of these, only one out of every 100 Nigerian graduates is employable.
He said it was towards addressing this challenge that the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria had initiated the Young Business Owner in Nigeria.
The DG who was represented by the director, policy, advocacy and coordination in the agency, Mr Monday Ewans, said the population of young people between the ages of 15 and 24 was rapidly on the increase, adding that the vast majority of them lived in the poor and emerging economies.
Part of the address presented on behalf of the DG read, ,”There is no doubt that the unemployment situation in Nigeria has reached a crisis level. Statistics have shown that only one out of every 100 graduates is assured of getting a job in Nigeria.
“One of the major causes of unemployment is skill shortages occasioned by dearth of skilled personnel and entrepreneurial competence, inadequate capacity of vocational skill centres and the non-orientation of the educational system to the production of vocational skills that are aligned to industry requirements.
“The Young Business Owners in Nigeria is designed to provide a platform where existing entrepreneurs either as standalone or cooperatives will be competitively selected for further supports. The support package is aimed at reducing some of the fundamental challenges that usually confront MSMEs.
“Essentially, the target beneficiaries are young people between the ages of 20 – 45 years. The focus on this target is because of the need to create new opportunities for employment and enterprises growth which are usually not easily realizable in start-ups.
“The selection criteria will be determined by the technical capacities of the promoters, available raw materials, markets, available skills, access to appropriate technologies, etc.
“The outcome of the needs assessment will form the basis for the design and delivery of the entrepreneurship training in each zone/state.

Robbers are said to have dug a hole under the bank which is directly opposite Thika Police Station from a nearby building and accessed the strong room where they made away with the money.
It is said the owners of the shop rented three stalls early this year and have covertly been digging the hole for six months.
They were stocking soil from the tunnel in one of the stalls and parking cartons of books on top to conceal their activity.
Once they gained access to the strong room, police said the robbers broke into two safes and are believed to have used Oxy-Acytelene flame to drill holes into the safes.
The commandant, who ruled out involvement of police into the crime, said his officers were not far from getting to the bottom of the matter.

Mugabe goes on hunger strike: Dictator has been refusing to eat for two days after vowing to ‘die for what is correct’ while under house arrest at his mansion with his wife Grace Mugabe by his side

Zimbabwe President Robert has refused to eat since Saturday in a protest against his house arrest.

Robert’s nephew Patrick Zhuwao said on Saturday that Mr Mugabe was ‘willing to die for what is correct.

A 93-year-old has not accepted any food since Saturday, the source revealed, as he continues to be held under house arrest at his Blue roof mansion.

Mugabe’s nephew Patrick Zhuwao said on Saturday that Mr Mugabe was ‘willing to die for what is correct’.

A ZANU-PF minister confirmed that Mr Mugabe is also refusing to speak as part of his days-long protest.

‘The old man has been trying a lot of various tricks since last night,’ the minister, who asked not to be named, said. ‘Hunger strikes, making threats and refusing to talk.’

Zimbabwe’s ruling ZANU-PF party held a special meeting on its central committee on Sunday to remove Mugabe as its leader and kick him out, Christopher Mutsvangwa, the head of the powerful liberation war veterans said.

Also on Sunday, Mugabe is set to discuss his expected exit with army commander Constantino Chiwenga, who put him under the house arrest that he is protesting with a hunger strike.

Which do you prefer?

I just got back to Nigeria recently, after the better part of 4 months away. Naturally, one of the things I missed the most while being away was the food. So I tried going to one of my favourite African restaurants to order some. Everything seemed normal until I tried to place an order. I asked for beans and plantain… the waiter said I could have one or the other, but not the two at the same time. I was confused. I decided to go for Jollof rice and chicken. Same story. Pounded yam and Egusi No, sorry, it’s either pounded yam OR Egusi.. not both together. I was actually at a loss for words. This didn’t make sense to me, at all. The waiter then tried to explain.. using words like “change”, “growth” and “trying a new direction”. But I didn’t and still don’t understand.


Why change what was already perfect? He explained that any option I chose would still taste good. So, because hunger was killing me, I tried it. In the past few days I’d try plantain one day, and then beans another. Etc. And they did taste good. But they were perfect together. Absolutely perfect. The best of the best of African cuisine.

It’s unfortunate that sometimes, with growth, change and whatever-other-word U wanna use… we end up losing sight of where and how we started, and altering what was a perfectly working combination. It makes me sad. But such is life I guess. For now, I will have to make do with either beans OR plantain, and either Jollof OR chicken, at different times. It isn’t quite the same though, so here’s hoping one day someone will realize that U should never have to choose between two good things, when both, together, make a perfect combination.

I miss beans & dodo at my favourite restaurant. Sigh.

The maternity Complex is a 10 unit facility made up of consultation rooms, labour rooms, an eclamptic room, pharmacy, nurses’ station, post-natal room, post op room, lying in room and a general ward complete with Kangaroo room. All units were stuffed with state of the art equipment.

According to him he fainted immediately he was kicked, after he they left his friends came around and took him to the hospital which the doctor demanded about #50,000 to operate him for him to get better.

Am a student on University of Nigeria Nsukka.. (Law faculty) ..i came bk from school so tired and lay down at my lodge trying to get small rest,suddenly a heard a knock and I was like who was dt d bearer refused to talk suddenly he said open d door b4 I break up down.. I was like “break it down na and u will pay for it” Thinking it was one of my colleagues. So I went and opened d doors, immediately Three guys badged in my room and one pointed me gun..d rest of d two wasn’t armed. So dy told me dt if I shout dy will blow up my head.. So I kept me.. Dy banged my door and searched my whole room.. I was, doing assignment with my classmates laptop dy took it,collected my wallet with monthly dues for my classmates was in suming 14k was inside. And dy took my phn and I shouted for help den d armed one kicked me in my private part dt I fainted. So after dt I didn’t no Wat else dt happen just woke up when my frnds already full inside d room.. Dtz how it went ooo.

So I was rushed to hospital and d doctor confirm dt my right testis went up to my stomach and d pain was to much on me and dy subjected me to surgery bh I had infected fluid over der so dy will 1st and dry up d fluid b4 infection.. So dy charged me 50k for d operation. .d moni wasn’t der and dy told me b4 anytin z done I should 1st donate 30k b4 dy touch me..

Am just here without treatment.. Dieing slowly �

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has turned up to a university graduation ceremony in the capital, Harare, his first public appearance since the military staged an apparent coup two days ago.

The veteran leader arrived at the Harare Open University in a blue-and-yellow gown, accompanied by his security detail, two days after being placed under house arrest in Wednesday's military takeover.

Speculation has swirled over whether a deal has been reached to squeeze the 93-year-old leader out of power, after 37 years of rule. Mugabe appears to have been resisting attempts to oust him, and ROYALSGIST understands he has pushed back on a deal to replace him with an interim leader.

The 93-year - old has vowed he would rather be killed than step down.

Zimbabwean army plot to remove Mugabe, after they were pictured on Tuesday evening heading towards Zimbabwe’s capital Harare and made it through on Wednesday, which afterwards Robert Mugabe was placed on house arrest. Eyewitnesses said military vehicles were also blocking roads outside the city.
