Ugandan superstar musician, Mowzey Radio Sweetlyfe died this morning at Case hospital Kampala.

Nairobi News Reported on the 24 January 2018 that the Ugandan musician Moses Ssekibogo, better known by his stage name Mowzey Radio was on Monday hospitalized, after suffering serious injuries from a bar fight.

Radio sustained injuries on his neck after being beaten up by a bouncer. He reportedly fell and hit his head on the ground during the incident.
According to Ugandan media, the singer was rushed to Case Hospital where he was admitted after the injuries left him in a coma.
He had initially been rushed to Nsambya Hospital where doctors declined to admit him because the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was full.
On Tuesday police said two people – proprietor of the establishment and a friend – had been arrested to help with investigations into the incident.
The two suspects are being held at Entebbe Police Station.

Young man identified as, Ibrahim who hails from Ogun state was arrested by security operatives in Lagos after he was caught stealing a phone in an unidentified old man shop.

It was learnt from a security operative identified as Samson Oluwaseun who shared the story on Facebook that the thief was nabbed on the 23-1-2018 and he is suspected to be a cultist.

A Kenyan man Munyao faced bestiality charges after he was arrested engaging in an unnatural act with two goats in a bush in Kangundo.

According to the area assistant chief Mary Mulwa, The man identified as Mbiti Munyao Maithya from Kinyai village, in kangundo subcounty, Machakos county was on Saturday at around 18:00 hrs seen pulling away two she goats, in turns, from a grazing yard, where they had been tied to a hidden bushy place.

Mbiti is said killed the two goats after having the unnatural offense with them.

He was later arrested by Kangundo police put in custody for the night before facing charges today morning.

The man was charged with unnatural offense and unlawful killing of two goats in Kangundo.

[b]You may recall that I commissioned and flagged off the Abuja-Kaduna train service for both Passenger & Freight in July, 2016 which was Nigeria’s first ever Standard Gauge train service. I am glad that this service has become very useful to commuters and has since become the preferred mode of transport for the journey between Abuja and Kaduna.

In response to the increased demand for this service, we are today launching and commissioning 2 additional locomotives and 10 additional Passenger coaches to improve the service. At the same time we are flagging off the other leg of the journey. Trains are scheduled to take off at the same time from both Kaduna and Abuja.
You may also recall that during the commissioning in 2016, I restated our resolve to vigorously pursue rail development in Nigeria through the implementation of the 25-Year Strategic Railway Master Plan.
I am happy that today a number of the projects are progressing very satisfactorily. The Lagos to Ibadan segment of the Lagos to Kano double track standard gauge rail line project is targeted to be completed by the end of the year.
The Itakpe to Warri standard gauge central line is expected to be commissioned by July this year and the extension from Itakpe to Abuja is being pursued vigorously.
Additional critical projects which I am particularly keen to start include the Coastal Rail line (Lagos-Calabar) with branches to Benin, Agbor and Onitsha; Port Harcourt to Maiduguri Standard guage rail line with branches to Owerri, Awka, Abakaliki, Yola and Damaturu; and Kano – Kazaure – Daura – Katsina – Jibiya to link with Maradi in Niger Republic as part of regional railway interconnectivity in the ECOWAS sub-region.
Other supporting projects which have been approved are the procurement of more locomotives, coaches, wagons, workshops and equipment that will be used for new standard gauge lines.
By way of encouraging private sector participation in our rail development, negotiation for concession of the narrow gauge railways with a consortium led by General Electric is in progress. We are looking forward to a more efficient rail service on the narrow gauge lines to be driven by the private sector.
It is on the basis of this that we are creating a more conducive environment for private sector participation by strengthening our legal and regulatory frameworks. The necessary Bills namely, Nigeria Railway Authority and National Transport Commission are already before the National Assembly.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock and outrage at reports of killings of innocent persons in Omoku, Rivers State and the traditional ruler, the Etum Numana, Dr Gambo Makama, and his wife in Sango Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the New Year.

The President, who described the incidents as “reprehensible and unacceptable,” directed law enforcement agencies in both states to intensify their current efforts in order to speedily bring the perpetrators to face the wrath of the law.

“I have always maintained that nothing justifies the taking of the life of an innocent person,” he said, adding that “people in our communities must learn to live peacefully.”

President Buhari appealed to the communities affected not to embark on reprisal attacks, but allow the security agencies to carry out comprehensive investigations to properly punish the culprits.

He commiserated with the families of the victims and wished the injured faster recovery.

A Nigerian man identified Victor Ufot shared a news about how a Calabar Night Club Owner Amber Named Akeem buried 2 children & piglets to attract customers.


Here’s what he wrote;


There was tension, last week in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, following the discovery of three corpse reported to be two infants and a Pig were exhumed at the entrance of a popular night Club, Amber Karaoke and Lounge. The suspect who is also the owner of the Night Club simply identified as Mr. Akeem allegedly opened the Club about a year ago at 112 Marian road, Calabar after he reported resigned as a bouncer at Jasper Night Club to start up his own.


Investigation reveals that Mr. Akeem rented the apartment from Southern Fried Chicken SFC last year.


The complex which also houses other businesses whose owners were unaware of the diabolical practices of Mr. Akeem until last week when God decided to expose him in a broad day light. A resident of the building who confided in this reporter said that luck ran out of Akeem when a Lady who owns a shop in the complex started noticing shortage in sales and customers and resorted to take her problems to God through a powerful Pastor in Cross River State.

Reports has it that on getting to the Prophet the shop owner was told that they were strange things buried in the complex that were preventing customers from patronizing her. The prophet promised to exhume the things if he is granted permission to do so.


It was further gathered that the shop owner reported the matter to the police and was granted permission to exhume the body.

According to verbal and video clips obtained by this reporter and attached to this report, the Prophet with the help of his servants is seen exhuming the bodies which were buried in 3 bags about a year ago.

Eye witnesses say that two of the bags contained skulls and bones suspected to be little babies while one contained bones and skull of a pig.

Meanwhile, the matter is currently being investigated by the State CID. Police sources who confided in this reporter say that the suspect initially denied any wrong doing but later confessed that in their tradition burying of pigs attract customers to any business and had no diabolical connotation.


Still in a bid to further cover up the crime, Mr. Akeem ran to a popular phone-in Radio programme hosted by a top Comedian in Cross River State, Last Prophet, on Hit FM to debunk the story. He informed listeners that nothing of such ever happened in his Club only for people who were present when the bodies were exhumed to phone in and affirm that they were present when the incident took place.

“Shot up Akeem I was there when the bodies were dug out from your club! A listener exclaimed on air.


A cross section of Cross River State indigenes and residents who spoke with our medium promised to follow up the matter and ensure that justice takes full its course. They described the incident as embarrassing and evil.


“My brother you can imagine what on earth will make a man to kill two children just because of attracting customers to a club. This is evil and embarrassing to all of us who reside here in Cross Rivers State. Thank God the issue is now with the police CID, we will follow it up till justice is achieved, God is still in the business of exposing evil doers and we thank him for this one”. Mr. Okon, a resident of Marian said.
