Foreign AffairsRe: Was Nelson Mandela A Terrorist? by rubaslipa: 1:22pm On Jun 14, 2010
Amazing how people are scared of simple terminology. Don't be brainwashed into the idea that all terrorists are monsters. It's simple. 'Terrorist' is a demonised term usually applied by those in power to those who violently struggle against them. Mandela struggled violently, so by most definitions he was a terrorist. However, many terrorists are justified in their struggle, so they shouldn't feel shy about it.

Contrast with the 'Shock and Awe' campaign carried out by the US in 1983, before they invaded, brutalised and occupied Iraq. If that wasn't the greatest state-sponsored terrorism act of all time (after bombing during Vietnam campaign, and atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima/Nagasaki), resulting in massive civilian casualties, then there has never been any terrorism anywhere.

All you denying that St.Nelson was a terrorist, have just swallowed European/US propaganda that the first requirements for terrorists is that they be evil people with no point. Not true.

The day the US is invaded by Mexico (perhaps trying to reclaim Texas and the other lands that the Americans stole), the patriotic American freedom fighters will all be terrorists according to the Mexican news.
Foreign AffairsRe: Exposed: Princess Diana Was Killed Over Planned Expose? by rubaslipa: 11:05am On Jun 14, 2010
The Full Information

A nonsense thread, and I'm glad it's dead.

The story is both old and extremely far-fetched. The source is not just a tabloid, but a tabloid with a reputation for ridiculous attitudes and joke conspiracy theories.

Both the Daily Mail and the mods are taking advantage of people's ignorance of the subject matter. There was no exposé likely. 'Senior members of the British arms trade involved with land mines' were involved because it was their job!.

, A leading lawyer claimed today. Michael Mansfield QC,
Mansfield has long been a trained puppy for Al Fayed, ready to stand on his hind legs and bring out whatever crack-brained theory Al Fayed is announcing this week. There have been many.

The Daily Mail carried the story not because there is the slightest truth in it, but because even now, 13 years afterwards, any 'Diana story' still sells copies of the paper.

Finally, Princess Diana died because (like many other people), she was not wearing a seat-belt at the time of a serious accident. Her driver got carried away in trying to escape from determined paparazzi, and somersaulted the car.

If anyone is to blame, it is the pursuing paparazzi, Diana herself (seat-belt), and cokehead Dodi Fayed, for instructing the driver to escape from the desperate chasing pack of photographers 'by all means necessary'.
FamilyRe: Industrialist Dumps Wife For Housemaid. by rubaslipa: 6:27am On Jun 14, 2010
Gotta say that I'm with the women on this one. Some of the comments men are making on this issue are disgraceful, don't list me among those men 'uniting to keep women down', especially with specious arguments.

Adultery or no adultery (and knowing what I can even do myself, let alone knowing what I have heard of happening before, I'm betting that this big man has seen more 'pata', than just the one his wife wears), the fact is that he is the one who wants to divorce his wife. In almost every advanced country, the eventual laws decree that when a man wants to abandon his wife and children, he has to continue to take care of them same way, they are not old socks that have developed holes. It's not just the support his wife gave him in the early years, it's the fact that he supposedly entered into a lifetime partnership contract with her, which he now wants to tear up.

Again, in most countries, the final legal position is that rich or poor, the richer party asking for divorce pays to maintain the 'ex' according to their means, and according to the wealth gained during the marriage. So a poor man can get away with 'tashere' money, because that's all he has. This man has to pay real money, as he can afford it. It even goes for mega-rich wives. Madonna had to pay her (rich) ex around £50m plus property when they divorced.

As far as I can see, most of the men making shameful comments are simply in favour of men being able to abandon their families cheaply. It is not only Nigerian men that like to be able to do this - the same behaviour shaped the divorce laws in Europe and America.

It seems extreme for the very rich, but actually they are intended to safeguard the poor.

All you guys claiming the wife is a gold-digger (she waited small to begin digging o!), comparing the wife with Heather Mills, saying the wife is equally at fault, it's unnecessary punishment, she is trying to frustrate him, she deserves nothing etc, should hang your heads.  lipsrsealed

Men don't like to marry a woman who is too much more successful than themselves, because they don't want to be treated the way that they like to treat women.

BTW, The comments (supposedly) from the kids on the case are pretty meaningless, they are more concerned with the family name, and say nothing to the point.

In terms of organization, we were way better off than with Amodu. .
Enyeama saved us from a white wash because that's what he was supposed to do. . .

What's with all this "Not for Enyeama we would have been ridiculed". .?
It's like saying not for the goal, the match ended in a draw. . . How about that?
I'm not arguing that we are not better off with Lagerback than with Amodu. That seems obvious. However there are two big problems.

Firstly, your goalie is your last chance. If you depend on your goalkeeper being the one saving you, then you will lose.

Secondly, Naija don't seem to be able to score when in front of goal, and that is nothing to do with how good Argentina were playing.

Please don't pay attention to Mr Sagamite - he just likes to attack posters, and for some reason he has a problem with Lagerback being white. He would prefer Amodu, even though he would get worse results for the SE.

Even with the mighty Enyeama, not being able to score is a fatal weakness.

Where are the comments from the 50% who voted in the poll that Naija would discipline Argentina?
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Argentina: [0 - 1] On June 12, 2010 @ World Cup by rubaslipa: 4:49pm On Jun 12, 2010
I hope Naija can step it up for the remaining games. I no be expert, but I can easily see poor cohesion, terrible finishing, very poor marking. Eagles could actually be winning if they had better tactics.

Probably you will see Enyeama playing in Europe next season. Na him only de save Naija from disgrace.

When you dey depend on goalie, you know you get problem. Remember, South Korea and Greece will take Naija more seriously than the Argies.

The current hardcore attitude and wave of anti-gay legislation across Africa doesn't matter too much. You don't seem to realise that history is more of a sine-wave moving towards entropy than a straight-line graph. Things get bad, then they get better,  slowly moving towards a steady state. The steady state in social policy is usually in line with the majority of other states, and relatively liberal.

In this case, there was no enshrinement of anti-gay legislation in African states before the pesky mzungu colonists came along, still in their own backward stage (deleting native religions, polyandry etc).

The current situation is caused by the rise of radical Islam and US-based Christian fundamentalism. The backlash against this has already started, and Wahhabi-style Islam and evangelist Christianity are mortal enemies and will bring each other down. Neither mad mullahs nor Pastor Poo-poo will always have the upper hand - education works against them slowly and surely. The UN and progressive citizens of the countries concerned are also against them. The courts are often more progressive than the legislature. In South Africa, after shouting, screaming and threats by religious bodies and wooden-headed 'traditionalists', the Civil Union Bill was successfully passed.  Women, gay people, the disabled, and other 'untouchables' tend to band together to demand their rights, and the solid block wins out eventually in a democracy.

We will probably end up with a position similar to Asia or South America, where due to religious sensitivities, there is no recognition of 'gay marriage' in some countries, but homosexuality is not against the law, either.

Thank God, many African politicians can speak out easily against it. From President of Uganda to President of Malawi.

Mugabe even said it was than pigs and dogs.
Mugabe, Museveni and Bingu wa Mutharika are old-skool Afrikan leaders. Progress will soon leave them behind. Most Zimbabweans wish Mugabe had been left behind already. Bingu wa Mutharika praised the Malawian courts when two gay men were recently give 14 years hard labour. When he went to check the Malawi constitution he quickly pardoned them and they were released without charge.

I wonder o!

Also wondering what SAGAMITE's rant about 'gay terrorism' and the iniquities of 'the media' has to do with the reasonable questions you posed:
Quote from: bawomolo on Yesterday at 03:11:34 AM
Do you think homosexuals(gays) should be portrayed in such manner.  why are homosexuals ridiculed for acts also performed by heterosexuals?
Anyway, as far as I can see, politicians don't say anything stupid about gays, for the same reason they don't attack black people or women. They're looking for votes, rather than trying to p!ss any section of the voters off. If a candidate who stands up on his hind legs and says 'gay people are x and y', the stupider the statement, the more the media will report it. How he fit complain about dat?

Don't care about video phoning, as it has been around for yeaRs in US and Europe, and nobody has time for it. And the cost for videocall again! Blackberry is not in the same class, but the avantage that HTC Desire has is that the Android system is much more free than Apple's system, so you can add this and that software, add any music you feel like, give out that music to your friends, in fact, make the phone do anything you want - very unlike Iphone. @ruba_slippa thanks for pointing that out,my mistake. Some ammount of harmful radiation do emanate from the transmission of radio wave too, that's why it causes, though rarely, some slow, but damaging health results like that of a radioactive plant.
Really? Please bros, try to understand that the radiation from radio waves is nowhere near the level of radioactive plant. Whereas radio and handset cannot pick signal well without aerial, radioactive plant is so dangerous that nobody wants to live nearby. They even have to pay extra money for people to work there, although they give them protective clothing and test their bodies everyday. Don't confuse the two.

daylae:
Have you ever ask yourself why active gsm calls interfares with electrical appliances like the tv and even computers? It is simply due to some electrical jamms.  It is true that a mobile phone battery can cause  explosion when aided by gasoline, but it is also true that the usage of gsm close to  gasoline can lead to explosion. The fact that it rarely happens doesn't mean its not true. Its just simple physics!
There is nothing like 'some electrical jamms'. The interference is due to the incoming radio signal disturbing the complex electrical circuits inside the tv and the computer - especially the screen and audio.

Please stop saying that usage of gsm close to gasoline can lead to explosion. Even phone battery can only do it theoretically, it's never been known to happen. Don't even say it 'rarely happens'. Bring your example of when it has happened. We don't want to hear beer parlour stories.  cheesy

toxbod:
Enough of all this ignition or no ignition thru mobile phone. Let me ask d following- (1) *Are you aware that you make & receive calls vide electromagnetic fields transmitted from telecoms’ base stations (masts) mounted all around us? (2) *Are you also aware of Air & Water Pollution but not aware that invisible E-SMOG (Electromagnetic Pollution) capable of causing cancer, memory failure, depression, fatigue etc which gradually kills the body cells are present everywhere?
* It will be good you PROTECT yourself against electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones by attaching mobile phone WAVE DEFENSE on your GSM phone. Reach me on toxbod@yahoo.com for more info or 08056701680
Mr toxbod, please stop touting and spamming. Your gadget is not even slightly useful. Your E-SMOG would be around whether my GSM phone is on or not, because the signal is still around. Even if I am using my phone, your piece of foil you are selling will just slow the signal. The handset will then increase power automatically to pick the signal well. This will result in the radiation from the phone returning to the original level. On top of that, the increased phone signal output will drain my battery!

Anyways, na supastory o! Mobile phone causing explosion is in fact so rare that it has never been proved to happen. In Europe and US, you are warned at petrol station to off your phone, in case of explosion. In fact, nobody ever does, and nothing ever happens. The signs are there so that just in case it ever manages to happen, you no fit sue di petrol station. Them go point the sign an tell u sey dem don warn you aready.

Wrong statements: Sagamite's struggle continues
@Sagamite
I understand your problem now - poor you! You don't actually understand what an argument is, you don't remember what you said from one post to another, and you have a severe problem with the process of reasoning. Really - you just don't get logic at all. Why are you make so much noise, yet are so shy of making any point? Is that the rep you are defending?

You dey tough o! You want more? Let's walk back again.

Firstly, which one concern me with SEFAGO. You seem to think we are the same person. Wrong. Very poor judgement. We are not.

Quote from me: ruba_slipa on Yesterday at 06:42:29 PM
Animals hardly despoil people - the people have more sense than to stand there.
from Sagamite:
Who talked about despoil? You lack understanding?
Wrongyou lack understanding. Just saying 'You lack understanding' is not a point in itself.
Here's mine: Since you didn't
mention animals sexu@lly attacking people, you must mean the humans are assaulting the animals in a sexu@l manner. Ergo, the zoophile is trying to do something to a probably uncooperative animal. It's extremely likely that an animal will be injured you know. These people try it with dogs, ducks, even smaller animals. Yes, some men r@pe chickens. And I've heard of big animals injuring themselves because they were tied up, and struggle mightily. Maybe you dose your own with drugs, and that's how you get them to cooperate. As usual, you haven't proved a thing.

from Sagamite:
It is not all animals that are in fear of humans.
Wrong. We are talking about bestiality here. Many domestic animals are not in fear of humans - but if that human starts interfering seriously with its genitals, my guess is that most animals would object. You must be *very* experienced at this to say different. Still, try such with ekun (leopard). It's not in fear of you, and it will definitely deal with you harshly.

Quote from me: ruba_slipa on Yesterday at 06:42:29 PM
More often a zoophile sexually attacks an animal. The animal can be injured in the struggle, may be too small for the activity, or may injure itself because of the way its head/neck/legs are tied. Even zoophiles don't want to get kicked or bitten! Point is, the animal can be damaged, whether through physical damage or sexual damage.
How are you so bad at arguing, yet you continue to argue? Every point you disagreed with in my statement is - you guessed it - actually correct. In other words, you were wrong-gong-gong.
Wrong: You disagree that more often a zoophile sexually attacks an animal (rather than the animal successfully r@pes the 'animal lover'). If the human being didn't agree to the s3x, but was r@ped then it is hardly bestiality behaviour.

Wrong: You disagree that the animal can be injured in the struggle - (and there often is a struggle, according to law reports).

Wrong: You actually disagree that the animal may be too small for a zoophile to have s3x with. Wallahi talahi! Even small mammals have featured in some terrible cases, and have often been killed. Your own 'thing' must be small pass needle o!

from Sagamite:

I repeat, try and understand the difference between sexual harm and physical harm.
Wrong-o-matic. Stop moving the goalposts. Naija v Argentina match never reach yet. We are actually discussing the difference between sexual harm and physical harm caused to the animal by the person trying to have s£x with the animal. They are very well connected. And I suppose the farmer will chop your head with cutlass whether the damage is caused directly by your 'thing', or by the struggling.

from Sagamite:

Explain to me how a goat can be SEXUALLY DAMAGED by a man.
Wrong. Wrong like Gowon, in fact. Dat one na straw man. I don't need to explain, I only need to point out that in some countries, there is no law against bestiality, but you would be prosecuted under assault and animal cruelty laws. Maybe you are a goat-ripper]http://www.nytimes.com/1993/06/24/world/alton-journal-savage-horse-ripper-panics-english-countryside.html .

I know you want to think that it is not harmful for man to do it with a goat, but the he-goats I have noticed don't have such big sexu@l organs as human people. Maybe you are unlucky, and yours is smaller, but that is not normal. Furthermore, I have never seen a goat that is interested in a man's 'thing'. You go wound that hanimal o! Owner dey run come o! Mek una comot!

Mrs Goat: Mehhhh! Abeg o! If you like, cut my throat, but mek u no r@pe me o! God dey look you o!

Come off it. You go wound dat African pygmy goat one way or another. And you no go fit look its face when morning reach. embarassed

from Sagamite:
This sounds like a Georgtown university student's argument.
Georgtown (sic)? I've already told you to leave me out of your juvenile yabbis with SEFAGO. I am not him.

from Sagamite:
Out of heat they (animals) have less (not no) desire for sexual intercourse?

For Example: http://www.justkiddin.com.au/miniature-goat-breeding.htm#5
Wrong Twice!  Booyaka! Booyaka! Do you ever read your links at all? You obviously think that linking = an argument. It doesn't if the link destroys your argument. Same thing you did last time. And I've already told you to leave those goats alone!

Wrong:It is not mentioned in your link, don't state it as fact. In fact, your link clearly says that out of the breeding season, you must use a mature buck (he-goat) to bring the she-goat into heat first, so it will accept mating. Are you a he-goat? If not, your goat-girlfriend no go gree mek you climb am o!

from Sagamite:

Please point to the place I claimed definitively animals enjoy it.
Wrong. Goalpost get leg again. That's not what I'm saying. You keep saying that since there is not evidence to the contrary, therefore 'probably the animals enjoy it'. An argument weaker than your popularity with your local goat-herders. Here's what you said:
from Sagamite:

Sorry, what makes you sure they are not enjoying it?
Wrong. As you are making an unlikely assertion (abi, goat dey date you?), then you must prove if they are enjoying it. I'm rather confident you can't do this - except maybe by your personal experience.  undecided

I understand that you are obsessed with bestiality with goats. I will be charitable, and assume that rather than you being sick and perverted, it is because you are bent on making a case for bestiality not being harmful, just so that you can then link it to homosexuality on purely moral grounds. I think when you say you like 'goat meat', you mean something different from other people! shocked

Can we please forget your hairy friends and go back to the homosexuality issue? All dis one na diversion.

I still have more yapping for you, Mr Wrong-like-Gowon.

goodass:
wired d@ way i heard. i guess same goes for paedeophiles n those in2 bestiality
You guess wrong. Why come comment for thread when una no no A or even no jack about di subject? At least try read di thread small. Then una go see how Mr Sagamite has been pasted and wasted for chatting the same cr@p. Which one concern homosexual and lesbians with paedophiles and bestiality?

Next ting u go open mouth say na oyibo people bring homosexuality to Naija. Tschhhewwww.

For sensible readers, the difference is: There is not even one country where paedophilia and bestiality is legal, or even people are standing up to try to make it legal. They are criminal acts, unlike homosexuality which is decriminalised in the majority of countries. Also, sociologists claim that paedophiles and bestiality practicers often have some traumatic or disturbing aspects of their upbringing. They say no such thing for homosexuality.

Homosexuality has a culture (even a hidden one in countries like Naija), has economy, and has always existed in all societies. Historically, it was tolerated in most areas before Christianity, Islam etc became prominent. It is also fairly common (up to 10% of adults), and most adults (unknowingly) now a private or public figure who is homosexual. None of these things is true for paedophiles or people who do it with animals. Don't try to equate them. Or are you saying that bestiality has a culture in your own home town?

If you ask a self-aware gay person, they often say they are just gay, that's how they feel. If you ask a paedophile or zoophile, they will always say they didn't do it! Even in the permissive West.

I like your name o! Cool Freudian slip!

@shilling: Thanx, thass what I meant. I didn't structure my sentence properly, prob because my hands are tired from sounding poor Sagamite backhand and return, again and again. cool

Seems like SEFAGO knows this Saga guy well. I count Sagamite as brave - still standing tall, when him clot don tear finish and koko (lumps and bumps) don cover him head. Ehn ehn! His face swollen from repeated soundings (hefty slaps); his friends have deserted him, he has no arguments, he doesn't know the issues, his analogies collapsed yakata, (heavily, arms and legs flying up in the air) all his facts are wrong, he can't tell the difference between truth and opinion, his general history get k-leg (thinks black/women's/gay civil rights were given by the elites rather than the people fighting for them),  and so on.  O ma se o! (it's a real shame).

Soon this thread will die, and in a month's time, some Dundee will start another thread: 'These perverted gays, should they be executed, deported, or jailed?' That's an even worse shame.

Typo: okoro = okra

I also apologise to all for my several long posts, but I touch-type, and it is a complex issue.

@Mad_Max: Abeg o! Allow for dis guy small! grin While it's true he hates gay men who aren't disturbing him, even without logic, but at least he is arguing his points. Other homophobes have seen the way their points are being destroyed here and their ignorance exposed. Many don pipe down small, di remaining don pick race from di thread pata-pata (completely).
