Before you start lamenting on manufacturing things we use here in Nigeria let me also let you know that the machines you need are also imported and you need dollars to import them, the mechanical parts you need for maintaining these machines are also imported giving rise to the cost of manufacturing and before you start lamenting on reasons not to manufacture the plants and machines here let me also let you know that Nigerias educational system is a scam and you need to get engineers abroad and pay them heavily in dollars for RND which is unrealistic because you and I can't afford the end products. The kerosene petrol and diesel we use today are heavily imported into the country because our refineries are incapacitated so we need dollars to also important these products that is why kerosene and diesel is above 200 naira today and there are rumors that fuel will be more expensive in coming weeks.. So you can agree with me that yes we spend dollars now and we need it. The transition you are asking for is unrealistic now and will take decades before we get to become an exporting country except you mean exporting agricultural products of course. [/b]

Hey i don't buy things from the market like a broke person. Despite you guys seeing that tomatoes scarcity was caused by a virus that attacked tomatoes platation, which is popularly called tomato ebola by farmers and also the sudden demand by dangote's tomatato paste factory which have even shut down due to the virus too, u guys still blame Buhari. Did anyone blame Jonathan for Ebola virus in Nigeria, or did any one blame lassa on Buhari? Despite knows prices soared up simply cos of scarce dollars, ocxassioned by low oil price, which Nigiria is not the only one in the mess, u guys still blame Buhari. Yes many of this prices differ everywhere, and the greedy Nigerian factor also is to blame. Everyone exploits at any given time

While some mods who have been mentioned several times deliberately avoided an educative thread, with arguments from both PDP and APC members, they will rather push things like this to malign the present government. I have seeen not less than 4 threads attacking the present administration, but the ones in defense are hibernated, and pushed at will or never pushed.
A mod will now ban offocurse for defamation of admin and mods.
Many of this prices are false, and over rated here.
