WebmastersHow Do You Price YOUR SEO Services? by RuddyFusion(op): 8:37am On Oct 01, 2016
SEO Servicing Pricing

Someone asked me this question few days ago…
”What is the cost and price range when doing analysis of a client's business/website to determine SEO work to be done?”

Although I have been pondering on this for some time especially now that I want to go live with my knowledge in that area, but I can’t stop wondering how to rightly quantify the cost of doing SEO for different set of clients [Individual/personal - Small/medium scale businesses – large organization/corporation]

------Considering the fact that when it comes to building a site for different sort of clients you normally consider some of the following to arrive at your total cost of doing such..things like---------------

-Domain name [ local (whogohost) or foreign( namecheap ) domain registrar .com or .com.ng or .ng all od which attracts different price

-Host Account [local (whogohost – gigalayer etc ) or foreign host ( namecheap or hostgator with each host having different flavor/packages which all attracts different cost ]

-Information/Database driven/ecommerce site: any of which attracts different set of cost

-Other Addon’s like: Ongoing maintenance/updates after hosting – comprehensive SEO works etc

-Your own cost of design

All of the above make up what you will use to arrive at your final cost.

==========================================================================================================

When it comes to SEO what and what are you going to use to arrive at appropriately pricing for your job?

What variables/parameters do you use to arrive at your pricing?

------------------ For an existing business/website does those variables/parameters includes ----------------------------------

-Separate cost for SEO Audit and this also depends on the client brand and project size.

-Existing SEO Strategy twerking

-Keyword research and placement on specific identified pages/posts of the organization site

-The number of keywords the client/customer want you to rank for

-Existing contents optimization

-The time frame of the project etc

-Will the pricing be per hour?...Weekly? Monthly? or what?

--------------------------------------For a new business or website---------------------------------------------------------------

-Does it include all of the above plus

-Competitor’s analysis

-Developing/creating the right SEO Strategy for the organization as they may not have one.

Or what exactly do to price your SEO Services rightly?, hope I have asked this question rightly any takers here? Can anyone put a figure to this?

HealthWhat Is Stopping You From Getting Pregnant? by RuddyFusion(op): 12:05pm On Sep 15, 2016
Yes what is stopping you from getting pregnant? Is it any of the female or male fertility issues? For the females issues like

• Damaged of blocked Fallopian tubes?
• PCOS: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
• Pelvic infection or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
• Endometriosis
• Cervical stenosis
• Fibroid (in some cases)
• And Advanced age among others……

Or is it the male ones things that are mainly sperm related like

• Azoospermia (Absent of sperm)
• Oligospermia (Low sperm count)
• Asthenospermia (lack of motile sperm)
• Teratospermia (sperm with abnormal morphology)
• Antibodies in sperm
• Untreated/Improperly treated STI
• Inflammation of the testes
• Overweight or underweight
• Causative effects of heavy smoking/drinking?
• Invasive medical treatments like radiotherapy, surgery and others
• Constant exposure to dangerous chemicals
• Diabetes etc etc

And not forgetting the almighty “unknow” which is normally after every possible test have been conducted on both the man and the woman and yet no reason can be medically deduced for their infertility…..

Whatever be the case, all hope is not lost. One of the ways through which infertile couples or couples struggling with any stage of infertility can get pregnant is through IVF and any other ART.

PoliticsBOI YES Programme Cohort-2 Online Training - My Experience Thus Far by RuddyFusion(op): 12:22pm On Sep 07, 2016
Few days before the commencement of the online training, i read couple of trends here with people asking sarcastically what the 3 months training was all about and why they should pass them/the candidates through it before given them the money (loan rather)....As for me as a person, i took notice of their words, that the training will be 'mentally challenging' so i looked forward to it as i have no issue with internet or power (to an extent to follow up any online training)...

Now exactly 9 Days Gone What’s my experience?

1) Its one week plus 2 days now and me and others have been treated to top quality training/materials that can only do one thing 'Change your life"...."Your thinking" and your approach to life...of course just like anything else, there was initial challenge with their buddy system, but that was quickly sorted

2) In this one week plus two days we have gone through 2 courses One on 'Setting goals for success' and the other on 'Personal productivity' and anchored on AMI(Africa Management Initiative) platform, a platform used by top managers around the world with courses and run by many prestigious top business schools in the continent some of which includes Gordon Institute of Business Science University of Pretoria and Lagos Business School

3) For example in the 'Setting goals for success' course, we have leant things like 'How to proper defined/set both our career and organization goals/mission statement. WE have further leant how to define the things we are responsible for and state clearly the outcome we expect from those. Furthermore to this is ‘How to put down smart goals’ based on the objectives we have earlier set for ourselves both in our career and business life and breaking down these goals into achievable chucks.

4) Following to this is the ‘Personal Productivity course which is a step further to the first course and focuses on how to properly manage your time, resources and responsibilities. Making sure you don’t just only hold yourself accountable for your responsibilities but you have an accountability partner that holds you responsible in ensuring that your set tasks are result oriented and are done within the defined timelines and resources assigned for them.

Its barely 9 days into the three months training and what I have seen plus what others are confessing is something really great..something to thank the BOI crew for…

If you have a business plan and weren’t serious with it, you don’t have an option but to follow it up and action what you’re learning…and if you have an already existing business and you’re part of this program, your business wouldn’t have an option but to pick up.

Tot they said they were going ahead with the convention and that justice Okon Abang judgment was inconsequential.... Power pass power.

The only way out in this Logjam is for the party to make peace with Sheriff. Give him wat he wants and move on cos he seems to be having an upper hand in this crisis. Alternatively maintain status quo and appeal the judgment and wait for the court's verdict. However this legal route will take a long time to settle cos the matter will get up to the Supreme Court..... So out of court settlement will be the best option. The case of Victor Umeh and Chekwas Okorie of Apga easily comes to mind. The matter lingered till Chekwas Okorie got tired of dragging the chairmanship position with Victor Umeh and left the party for him and formed another party.
What exactly does Sheriff want? to destroy PDP? or what?

I don't know about Naira payment but i know about a reliable foreign host ( as you put it) and that's namecheap.com.. you can see their hosting packages here https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/shared.aspx I personally use their 'ultimate Package' which allows you up to 49 more websites which you can add as Addon domains( if you need explanation on this please do ask)

As someone who's operating in the cyber space you must be willing to spend in dollars while looking for other options to save cost becuase of our current changi situation

I persoannly use namecheap.com and have been using them for years now....I buy my .ng domains from whogohost but use namecheap for my hosting and buys my .com domains from them as well.

I personally use their Ultimate package which goes for $29.88 dollars/Year https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/shared.aspx ( of cos the cost changes when its time to renew). I have never had any issues with them and their technical support is super.

ITbomb:
Bottom line

If you are an upcoming blogger (ie your blog is not making above N50k a month), get a domain name and stay with Blogger otherwise get a Premium account with a good host company.

All stories about Google preferring WordPress over Blogger is a big lie, all Google wants is a good content.
To make this good content available for Google bots to crawl is your full time job.

WordPress might make the work easier with plug-ins but if you can understand meta tags usage, search console and backlinks, you can outrank any WordPress blog easily
The point is not WordPress OR Blogger there's no argument about which of them is better once you do your own work take care of your OnPage, Technical and OffPage SEO and provide the content your niche demands, then you're fine.....

Personally i observed that most Nigerians use Blogger for the sole reason of it bn owned by Google...but i personally prefare WP and will go for it over Blogger anytime anyday.....

Everything depends on what you wan to do and achieve.

Option (1) is advisable for everyone who wants to be a Web designer or want to start web design as a profession. whether you want to start building website using WordPress or frontend quarter of (HTML,CSS and JS)

Option (2) is necessary also for anyone who works in the web industry in this part of the world as most websites built here are done with CMS like WordPress but one need to go beyond the realm of knowing how to download WP themes to the realm of knowing how to develop one ourselves.

Option (3) for you to use this option you must be grounded in Option 1 above

Pls How much will cost me if i want to learn how to create and Designe a Website
My dear it depends on what you want to learn and how you want to learn it

1) Do you want to learn how to build/design websites from ground up using HTML,CSS and JS( learning best code practices- mobile first and responsive design along the way) plus any frontend frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, HTML 5 Biolerplate and Skeleton?

2) Do you want to learn how to build/design websites using CMS like WordPress, Joomla etc( from common in this part of the world)

3) Do you want to learn by using JS frameworks like Angular Js, React, Ember, Backbone etc?

4) Do you want to learn using combination (1) and (2) above?.....What's your style of learning? do you learn quickly/easily when lead by hands through hand's on examples or Video tutorial on your own or via books?

5) If your learning style is hand's on and you want to start with either option (1) or (2) or combination of both, then i can be of help, we can talk and arrange one on one sessions based on real life projects

6) if your learning style is by ebooks, then let me know i can help you also with where you can find relevant project driven ebooks for your learning But if by watching Video, trust me you can start from Youtube search for website design tutorials and get your internet/data ready plus youtube video downloaders to download and watch the videos at your own pace

You can also contact me for other sources where you can find videos to watch.......

7) Finally if option (3) is where you want to start(though most don't start from there) then places like Andela is a good place try and get into one of their cohorts. and be on the look out because they're numerous training opportunities around.....

On a final note....learning from someone who already know will help you cut your learning curve and get to your destination on time.....

You can reach me on - rutherford.ejim@gmail.com

WebmastersRe: Please Webmasters How Can I Make A Site Mobile Friendly??? by RuddyFusion(m): 11:57am On Jun 25, 2016
The question is

1) Are you the one that built the site yourself? if yes did you build it from ground up Using HTML,CSS and JS? OR Used WordPress or other CMS?

2) if you're the one that built it using HTML,CSS AND JS its obvious you didn't incorporate mobile first and responsive design techniques. Are you aware of both? if you used mobile first approach, you would have seen how your site will look on mobile before proceeding to the desktop version, and responsive design helps make sure your site displays appropriately in different screens and devices

3) If you need help in incorporate what i mentioned above, do let me know....or seek for someone around you that have the knowledge of those techniques

4) fourthly you can use frontend frameworks like bootstrap or skeleton to get your site mobile friendly and responsive. They're tons of tutorials online that can help you on that, but if you need my help on that let me know.

5) Finally if you used WordPress for your site, what theme did you use? most current WordPress themes are mobile friendly and responsive.

and can we see this site?.....
