Standing5: Take bread for example, had GEJ's cassava bread strategy produced any meaningful result, the price of bread wouldn't be double today. Don't forget that sugar, another major component of bread is largely prnduced in Nigeria. The bad policies & wastages during all our years of excess fund is the cause of current economic predicament. I keep saying it, Buhari has already exceeded expectations. To postpone the doomsday the way he did and be paying paying salary with ease he has scored 120% already. keep deceiving yourself |

mctowel01: The 50k estimate is for going with the option of showing proof of living, travel and course costs and thats a whole lot of money. It must be a deposit in your account or a kind of scholarship you have. The 60k annual income is beyond an average Nigerian. Mehn, whats this world turning to? anyway out yet on this proof of funding? ?? |

paka2016: I think most schools accept a CGPA of 65% in their scale, You can convert ur's by dividing (3.46/5) then multiply by 100, which means u have about 69% CGPA... You can apply in most schools. i had a similar GPA and got admission in UWA./ how long did it take to get your admission decision? ?? |

JewelStone: Welcome to the thread. Do yourself a favour and read up the last 100 pages or so.
Your CGPA is not bad. Most schools don't require application fee, and most schools will direct you to educational agents here in Nigeria.
With the new visa policy that will come to effect from July 1st, you may need an account statement for your visa application, depending on the school you've choosen. I'm not sure if your cousin can sponsor you as the new policy is very strict on financial requirement.
Google.com should be your best friend for now. Check out schools that offer your intended course and their respective fees, nobody has the time to do your research for you.
When you've shortlisted the schools you're interested in, I can advise you on the ones that will be easier for your visa application, based on my study of the new policy. Thanks for your prompt reply,I studied Chemical Engineering,i would like to know the outcome after the masters degree,is it possible to have a stay and look for a job,as UK gives just 4 months how many months does Australia give after studies
Just my 2 cents |

Politics › If The Herdsmen Are Not Fulani Then Who Are They? by rudyislife(op): 8:52am On May 02, 2016*. Modified: 9:49am On May 02, 2016 |
If They are not Fulani Herdsmen then Who are They? ?? It is with great shame and disbelief I have read various statements and press release from various groups from the North of this country trying either deliberately or otherwise to exonerate the Fulani herdsmen from their evil and barbaric activities, been perpetrated in the south. They all have devised a tactics whereby they first condemn the act, thereby giving their views a little credibility, after that they go ahead to portray the actors as not being Fulani. We must call a spade a spade, enough of this bullshit from this so called Northern leaders,Every tribe in this country has a trade or business it is associated with or known for,We all know how any substandard product purchased in this country, irrespective of point of purchase, has been labelled Aba made,Even if it was produced in the USA,in as much as it's not up to standard it's called made in Aba,Or is it the average Niger Deltan, that has been Tagged a militant, yet we let the status quo remain the same, because indeed the igbo man, knows that of true one or two of his brother has either sold or imported substandard goods, and the Niger deltan, also realises, that indeed someone from his clan, may have at one point or the other in his life been involved in militancy. It causes great concern to me,when I read statements of supposed leaders, and groups trying to separate the Fulani from the herdsmen, some have said that the herdsmen are from Mali and Niger,Na wa oh,so Nigeria was going to import grasses for Malians and Nigeriens? Or were we going to give Grazing fields to Malians and Nigeriens? Some have said the herdsmen men are Criminals,if I may ask does being a Fulani herdsman immune one from being a criminal? These Northern elements are only trying to repeat the mistakes of the past by these their acts of self deception,Even the president has not done anything, maybe because he too is an herdsman. There is a saying that, he go soon perch, he go soon perch,na him fly take they enter bush. Without mincing words I must say these Fulani herdsmen are Criminals, they are Murderers, they are Rapists,They are Kidnappers, And must treated as such and not be treated with kid gloves as its been done now, before the situation gets out of hands and turn into a full blown war. #Stoptheherdsmennow |
