The level of looting going on in the Niger Delta is stunning. No top military guy that ever served there is poor.
This guy was/is just a Colonel in the army, but was the money machine bankrolling a military mission in which his superior officers were involved.
You have to ask "how" did he make the money?

Its all boils down to the fact that he was posted to the Niger Delta at a point as a military commander of one of the lucrative anti this and anti that military operations. They basically collude with foreign oil thieves to loot the country dry once posted over there.
Now they're starting to make more money than they need and sponsoring coups and insurgencies have become fashionable..

This wasn't a coup to radically change things. This was a coup by some utterly corrupt officers desperate to re-imposse northern hegemonic dominance of Nigerias politics..

President Donald Trump says that the US military used a mysterious new weapons system dubbed the “Discombobulator” during the operation to capture then-Venezuelan president Nicholas Maduro in Caracas earlier this month, Trump tells the New York Post.

“The Discombobulator. I’m not allowed to talk about it,” Trump says.

According to Trump, the weapon “made [Venezuela’s] equipment not work,” suggesting that the system was used to disrupt the Venezuelan air defense and radar systems, allowing US forces to carry out the raid with near-impunity.

“They never got their rockets off. They had Russian and Chinese rockets, and they never got one off. We came in, they pressed buttons and nothing worked. They were all set for us,” Trump tells the US news outlet.

The US president’s comments came after being asked by the press about recent reports that the Biden administration purchased a pulsed energy weapon that is suspected to have been used in Caracas.

The outlet also quotes one of Maduro’s former guards, who says that during the night of the US raid, “suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation.”

“The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn’t know how to react,” he says, adding that US helicopters then appeared overhead, carrying special forces troops.

“At one point, they launched something; I don’t know how to describe it. It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside,” the guard says.

“We all started bleeding from the nose,” he recounts. “Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn’t even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was.”

It's really painful and sad.

Last week, I bumped into an old school mates of mine. In fact, we weren't just sch mates but coursemates.
This is someone who wouldn't attend lectures or read. He used to copy from me during exams . He was more of a nuisance to almost every of his coursemate. It wouldn't be act of exaggeration to say he was the dullest amongst us. You know these types of coursemates that are never serious, they just go about talking and disturbing everyone. The guy no get shame at all. He will beg you for money, food and everything.
During exams, he would go into the hall with chokes. He was a photocopier. You must open your scripts for him to copy, else he will keep disturbing you.
So, yesterday, we had into each other. He's married now and doing very well for himself. He is the most successful of all of us.
I'm a hussler. I do all sorts of menial jobs. So last week, he drove into a car wash stand where I work. I saw him and I was surprised. All the while, we were only seeing on Facebook. When I spotted him, he didn't know I was the one until I went to him. We hugged and exchanged pleasantries, I saw the disappointment in his face. Why would I be washing cars after sch?
Did you know that this same guy asked that we took a picture together?. We posed for the camera and one of my colleagues snapped us..
He left. And this guy began sending my pictures to other former coursemates of ours. The next week was my birthday, and this guy posted same picture on our WhatsApp platform. I was mocked. They now call me a car washer.


This has affected my self esteem and confidence. The admin of our WhatsApp platform had to delete the photo . Most of my mates called me directly to pacify and encourage me cos I was among the best students during our time.

I'm really disappointed. This guy didn't call me on my birthday, but had the guts to post a picture of me while wearing rags and washing cars at my workplace.

I am really traumatised at this moment. I'm pained. Nothing has ever hurt me like this, not even the death of my dad ever hurt me this way.

This is why I commend Davido's father in addressing a media conference to effectively counter the social media frenzy. The APC have seen that they are losing Osun state again, this time to little known Accord Party, they are now bereft of idea, so they have resorted to the old tactics. Kolè work.
