not a basenji, basenji is a breed of its own they can't bark and are amongst the dumbest breed ever our beloved ekuke can bark, has no origin so it's safe to call it a mongrel and are smart.

I don't support raw meat either. Worm infestation and diseases might occur. Also your dog is going to become a vicious carnivorous animal...a danger to kids.

becoming vicious because of raw food is a myth and following yur dog vaccination schedule religiously will help against all those diseases after all dogs fed exclusively on kibbles still have worm infestations and contact diseases

If you've been a dog owner for a while now I bet you must have witnessed some weird things from your pooches. Dogs do a lot of weird stuff that may freak out their humans, especially newbie owners.

I have witnessed Spike growl and bark in his sleep when he was much younger. Seeing this happen totally convinced me that dogs can also dream while sleeping.

The ones you have in Nigeria are called "Nigerian dwarf'' . They originated from west Africa. And is a very rare breed abroad. You can google more. Just type Nigerian dwarf.

Actually Sable is more dominant and black and tan is common, if u cross a Sable dog with a black and tan dog u will notice that majority of the puppies will be Sable. It normally dominates d black ND tan gene

exactly what I wanted to point out sable is the most dominant color in GSDs, black and tan the most common while black is the least dominabt

boerboels and bull mastiffs are about the same size English mastiffs are something else entirely and @durubrian the dog the OP posted is a boerboel not a bull mastiff if yu look at face closely yu will know at a glance

yu better wake up and face the reality of life, yur dog is old and it's dying at this stage it needs all the attention, love n medical care it can get I would advice yu take it to a vet to give yu professional advice but if I were you I would have euthanized it to end the suffering the poor rugged man has been suffering for long. deaf, toothless, disoriented etc just make him suffer no more

I went for my normal exercise this Saturday morning,I decided to take Carly and Bruno along. Bruno is used to jogging with me, he's very strong, agile and active, he loves to run and would even encourage you when you're tired. Carly is opposite, her big paws are just for fancy, She doesn't run sef, if you run too fast, she would stop and start crying. Sometimes having big bones is a disadvantage.

when we got back home I gave them some treats, while they were eating Bruno's tooth fell off... Old man is still teething...

hello we know it's yur dog but deliberate crossbreeding is like putting yur hands in fire it brings more ills than good, curiosity they say kills the cat personally I don't think anything good will come out of that union it's not worth trying yu will just end up creating dogs yu your self won't even like and who knows yu may even sell to the public which will do further damage cos the trend of breeding might continue adding to the already teeming population of mutts in the country. breed to develop not bastardise or to quench yur thirsty curiosity if yu need a wife for yur dog get same breed, get a female that is even far far better than he is it would be worth it in the long run.
