Please i want to know of the version of victron connect that can allow me relay info from fanpusun to my phone.
I was working on some diy project on my phone earlier but it was stolen so i need someone to please enlighten me.
So that i can get the info of harvest and all that without briking it due to victron update etc.

Thanks for commenting.But i didn't quite get the explanation. Do you mean the Victronconnect app does a firmware update of the scc automatically if one tries to use the app with the SCC? and if yes, that i should update with only the latest firmware without fear of killing the SCC?

sir, is it a must to upgrade these fangpusun scc? cant it be used asis? i want to get a couple of them bt im concerned with these issues with updates and slow deaths.

Lights are flickering but that's all. Recognized by the Victron app. Doesn't display parameters on the app nor does it charge batteries. After a few moments on the app, it requests to update, which fails around 12%.
Then we start the cycle again.

Hmm was afraid of full update I just did the update from 1.16 to 1.17 and I'm using victronconnect v1.9 as v2.0 carries the update 1.19. I don't know how runx managed to escape

I was playing with an old unit (100/50) I had and decided to use the Victron app, following your guideline. Currently, the device no longer boots (doesn't power on at all). I was offline as recommended. I did all the steps (offline and didn't change settings other than set absorb limits) and went further to install the latest app which upgraded my Bluetooth dongle to 2.15 while connected to my Victron Phoenix inverter. I connected it to the Fangpusun, powered down and came back up to see if any change was noticeable but it won't come on. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot?

I thought the update file is embedded into the victronconnect app and doesn't need data to upgrade. How long have you been using this your firmware

The victron app version 1.7 you use will ask for update from v1.16 to 1.17. Did you upgrade yours? I am afrasi to upgrade hence I looked for victron connect v1.4 and that's what I have been managing. I know you said the killer firmware is version 1.19 so please tell me if you upgraded to v1.17 to use your victron connect app v1.7

Noticed an issue with the fangpusun victron clone display.
At sundown..the harvest for the day may read 11kwh, but later when u scrol tru the harvest logs.u wud see another value ...usually lower recorded for that particular day, u might now see 8.6kwh, and not the 11kwh u saw during the day.
Is anyone experiencing this, is the the problem caused by the display?..any solution to this??

in CCIP (Constantly-calculated Impact point) mode, here there is no designation of a target.This is a visual guidance mode. Once the mode is selected, the FCC (fire control computer) displays on the HUD where the bomb would hit if dropped at that moment. As the terrain and flight conditions change, the dot moves. One simply maneuvers the plane to put the dot on the target, and when on the target the weapon is released/fired.

if the aircraft is diving for an attack then the pilot is most probably using CCIP mode.

in CCRP (Continuously calculated release point) mode using radar /other sensors both internal or external( ie ISR aircraft feed) , the pilot picks a target. The radar then locks onto that target. On the HUD, there will steering cues for the pilot to follow, computed by the the FCC (fire control computer). It's basically a vertical line, with a small horizontal line called the bomb release cue that slowly falls towards the center of the HUD as the pilot approach the target. the pilot will get the distance and time to target displayed on the HUD, counting down.the pilot will hold the release button and the computer will automatically release the bomb when it meets the previously feed parameters . CCRP mode is used with both dumb and precision weapons. even without target lock/designation u can release bombs in CCRP mode by simply feeding the coordinates of ur targets, the FCC will do the rest.
