Politics / Abdulrashid Maina's Version by rusep: 5:31pm On Oct 25, 2017
Below is the transcript of phone call conversation between Ahmed Isah of Barekete Family and the embattled Pension head who was alleged to have stolen billions of Naira, Abdulrashid Maina. Maina seems to know a lot as such he has a lot to tell Nigerians. He may not be innocent but at least he deserves to be heard too, more so that all those he mentioned are very much alive.
This is his own side of story. Read and be the public judge.......

phone rings.......

Caller: is that Abdulrashid Maina?

Maina: yes

caller: Abdulrashid Maina?

Maina: yes

caller: OK, hold on hold on hold on, abeg wait wait wait. Abdulrashid Maina is here. him down call

caller 2: hello Abdulrashid Maina?

Maina: yes, this is Abdulrashi Maina what can I do for you?

caller2: How are you

Maina: I'm doing fine. how about you?

caller2: ahh I de very good sir.

Maina: ok. who is speaking please? who is speaking?

caller2: my name na ordinary Ahmed Isah, them de call me the voice of the voiceless

Maina: OK, OK,

Ordinary Ahmed: you de live as me and you de talk now for unity Fountain. we gather pensioneers all over Nigeria here.

Maina: OK. what can I do for you?

Ordinary Ahmed: watin we hear be say, you thief pensioneers money run leave out of this country.

Maina: OK. you want me to.

Ordinary Ahmed: How much you thief, where you carry am go?

Maina: Ahh, to start with I did not take anybody's one kobo.

ordinary Ahmed: explain

Maina: nobody has ever given me one kobo in Nigeria. And nobody has given me budget. Nobody has given our office ten naira. The office of Head Of Service has been in charge of our task team. And our task team include: 15 officers from EFCC, 15 officers from ICPC, 4 officers from SSS, 2 officers from NIA, 15 officers from HOS, 3 officers from Accountant General, 3 officers from Auditor General office and then 2 officer Anthony General's office and public complaint commission and some representatives of National Association of Nigerian pensioneers. And I was only the head. Any thing that happen in that office must be endorse by all these agencies before it is brought to me to endorse. so why is it that people are calling my name Maina, maina they are not calling that team? The reason is because I refused to bend, to bend backward. Number one, I want Nigerian people to know nobody has ever given me budget of ten naira. if there is anybody, National Assembly or budget office or ministry of Finance that has ever given me ten naira, let them produce that ten naira and show Nigerian people this the amount of money we appropriated to that team or Maina to handle. Let them show Nigerians. Instead I am the one,me and my team recovered 282 billion naira and that money minster of finance took the money and put it in central bank.

Ordinary Ahmed: which minister of finance?

Maina: Ngozi Okonjo Iweala she is alive. And the present emir of Kano was the CBN Governor. I was not a signatory to that account. Former account General and some officers and minister of finance are signatory to this account. This money, I have never seen this money in cash. I only see it on the pages, papers. I have never seen cash. so where will it be, where did I come across money? if there is anybody who will show me where government give me money or where money enter my hand and I put in account let him come and show. People are talking, talking on paper. All this is because of the following:
my team was asked to go and restructure police pension office. we went to police pension office we found out that they were taking 300 million naira from the account every morning and I reported to the minster of finance and said there is one account you approved 24 billion naira for the payment of police pension arrears, she said yes. I said that money is not been used to pay police pensioners is been removed 300 million naira daily and these are the people who have been removing the money and the matter was referred to EFCC for investigation and ICPC for investigation
the second thing is, they are giving police pension 1.4 billion naira every month as monthly pension and we went and found out that the actual amount every month is 488 million that means they have been stealing 1.. billion naira every month for so long. Definitely I will have to have enemies. Then also we asked the minister of finance to stop this money from being paid to these people. That she should stop the 24billion naira they have been stealing 300 million every day. I have proof to show Nigerians because I have the text top and I have shown Nigerians this text top inside AIT when I went to AIT and showed Nigerians this text top. Everybody has seen how they have been stealing this money.
We went and did biometric exercise. this biometric was approved by the Head of Service not by me. I did not approve any penny for biometric. i did not approve one dime for the biometric. I did not take any kobo because nobody gave me kobo. All the offices that I mentioned took part in the biometric enrollment exercise in Nigeria. All the offices I mentioned.

Ordinary Ahmed: which offices, which offices?

Maina: EFCC, ICPC, SSS, NIA, Auditor General office, Accountant General office, Public Complaint Commission office, Anthony General office, Minister of Finance office, all are part, and the Head of Service office. All these offices took part in the biometric enrollments exercise. so how can it be that Maina, Maina, maina's name is being called. I am not the person in charge nor am I the only person in the team. is only HOS or minister of finance who approves money for the team and they can go and ask HOS and Minister of finance if they have ever given me, Maina, one naira? let them say it. That team does not have an account. we never had an account. we never operated any account. So all these things are media, all these people that were caught who stole money and are being prosected now are the ones who take money to media people to rubbish my name. They are rubbishing my name because they are afraid that if Maina is around, then Maina is going to reveal a lot things.
there are leakages in the government. we block leakages. we were able to save the government billions of naira. we were able to create e-pension management system where by all 4 billion naira that is spent by eand of verification, verification, that so many pensioners are dying it should stop. we created e-pension management system where by all 4 billion naira that is spent bi-annual verification, verification it should stop. That so many pensioneers are dying it should stop. We created that e- pension and also gave pensioneers e-smart card.
Right a pensioneers will go and verify himself at him own time. He doesn't anybody to tell him to come for verification.Every six month a pensioneers will go to a nearest local government and slot in his card in a machine.(not clear)...there is no need for any pensioneer to go and line in one city looking for verification and also government is going to be saving 4 billion naira from that. This is only Police Pension I am telling you.
coming back to Head of service pension, we came and did biometric. people are saying we went and did biometric in abroad. there is no pensioneers in abroad. In new- York alone, in New-york alone we have 367 in New-York alone. These are former ambassadors and people from the embassy community. They are there living in US. They have retired. we found put that HOS payroll was 5.12 trillion every month but then the actual we found put was 825 million every month. so why will I go and tell the minister of finance to stop sending 5 billion. That is my crime. That is is the big crime I did, because the money is being shared all over. It was when we were doing all this things that the senate now said there is money in pension and there is a team and that team has recovered so much and those people who stole, I repeated in the senate those people who stole, I repeated in the senate, are the ones who paid the media to spoil my name. I don't have the money to buy them because I don't have the money. so they went and spoil my name. So one day I was coming out of the president's office, where we went with Minister of finance to go and discuss the issue of this money that have been paid, when I came out about 9'oclock my car was shot three times. Apparently some people want to assassinate me. they try to assassinate me so that they shut my mouth up. Now when they trIed to assassinate me they also sent a text message. Thanks to the car, because at that time I have complained to president that I have been getting suspicious text messages and movement around my house. He asked the chief security officer to give me bullet proof car for the main time. I was inside that bullet proof car when they made the shot. The car is there as an exhibit at the villa. The car is inside the village now because it has the widow shattered by the bullet. Is there and I have the picture everyone in Nigeria knew it. The same people sent me a text message the following day. That they will come and kill me whether or not they miss the opportunity that unless I stop this work that I am doing, if I stop the work that I am doing then I am free. I sent the text message to the headquarters police, I sent to SSS office too and I got a reply from police signed by the present IG of police. the present IG was the one who replied the letter, that we have seen and collected your letter of complaint about threat to your life we are investigating now. I have a copy of that letter nobody has done anything about it but this present IG tried. nobody did anything about it. so obviously I had to go under. I had to hide myself because I was going to be killed. if I am killed Nigerians will just say the thief has been killed, nobody will know the truth.
so when I was away, I decided to...ehh because the senate was saying that I refused to come and honour their invitation and then they asked for my arrest. so I took the senate to the court because this is what is happening to me. I am a civil servant...(not clear)...nobody has ever given me budget of one naira, people are saying i stole money and all these is happening nobody is helping me. The HOS is not helping and I said why should I be a lone soldier? sovi went to court....Ahmed Isah cuts in

Ordinary Ahmed: Abdulrashid Maina

Maina: yes

ordinary Ahmed: if president Mohammdu Buhari say him go give you protection make you come explain to Nigerians and the world over people whe put hand for this pension magomago, are you ready to come and expose?

Maina: I am ready and half of these people will run away and leave Nigerian. I tell you this and that is why I am being persecuted now. certainly that is why people are trying to ternish my name all over the place. the former president is alive, the minister of finance is alive let them go and find out that where is the money that , I Maina recovered. why are talking about there is no money to pay pensioneers? How can they say there is no money to pay pensioneers? it was during my time we went and got approval of 53% pension increament. this money we recovered should have been able to pay the 53% pension increament...Ordinary Ahmed cuts in

Ordinary Ahmed: How much have you been able to recover?

Maina: cash with minister of finance and central Bank 282 billion naira. How many penioners do we have in Nigeria?

Ordinary Ahmed: 282 billion naira?

Maina: yes. That's number one. Also, also because of the information I gave security agencies we were able to recover over 1.6trillion from all the pension thieves. the security agencies did a wonderful job, especially EFCC

Ordinary Ahmed: OK, Abdulrashid Maina

Maina: yes

Ordinary Ahmed: first of all, make I tender my apology

Maina: thank you very much

Ordinary Ahmed: for accusing you because na watin de common. Everybody de talk say Abdulrashid Maina steal their money. Abi na lie

background studion members: No! (in chorus)

Ordinary Ahmed: even National Assembly, senate talk say you thief money

Maina: you know why?

Ordinary Ahmed: why?

Maina: because those pension thieves, the day the senate called me. the first day I attended I saw the same pension thieves in the senate and were gdrinking coffee and tea. they were being treated like chiefs. while me and Lamorde that were being accused were inside....(not clear)....

Ordinary Ahmed: Abdulrashid Maina

Maina: yes

Ordinary Ahmed: ehnn, you go come explain for the program brekete family

Maina: OK, I'm ready

Ordinary Ahmed: make Nigerians hear

Maina: I am ready

Ordinary Ahmed: you go show us documents

Maina: I have

Ordinary Ahmed: you go show us evidences

Maina: I have

Ordinary Ahmed: thank you very much for your time

Maina: thank you so much, thank you. my regard to Nigerian "pensioneers". I want Nigerian to know I am

Ordinary Ahmed : Them de hear you

Maina: I want to tell Nigerian pensioneers that they know I fought for them for the approval of 53%. All Nigerian pensioneers know. I was the one who fought for the approval of 53% and this 53% should have been paid to them long time ago. we are not talking about 33%. why are we talking about 33%. we are talking about 53% and people are telling me keep quiet, keep quiet, keep quiet. what have I done? what is that I have done?

Ordinary Ahmed: OK you no go keep quiet this time around. cone talk am for brekete family with evidences. you de ready?

Maina: I de ready

Ordinary Ahmed:we for brekete family we no de take side with anybody but go show evidence

Maina: I have all evidence

Ordinary Ahmed: including the police pension

Maina: everything de

Ordinary Ahmed: how much police pension de claim?
Maina:police pension de claim that time 1.5billion naira monthly. the actual amount is 488 million. Also they collected 24 billion that they want to pay pensioneers arrears. Ask police pensioneers have they been paid their arrears? No! instead after collecting that 24billiin they went and open an account in a bank in Lagos and put there.
Ordinary Ahmed: OK thank you. we go call you tomorrow morning during the program.

Maina: OK, thank you very much, thank you very much..

Ordinary Ahmed: thank you very much Abdulrashid Maina.

Are the Igbos and Kanu Nnamdi aware of this?

'In 2003 PMB picked Chuba Okadigbo as running mate, the East voted PDP.

In 2007 PMB picked Edwin-Ume Ezeoke, the East voted PDP.

He later picked Bakare and then the new VP at his fourth attempt.

PDP had it's own strategy. They courted the West and North to get the vote and used sentiment to get votes from the East.

Politics is about numbers and alliances. PMB now aligned with SW and became president. And they said Yoruba sold out to support the north when they missed the opportunity to align with the north on Two occasions.

We saw in the last elections that you only need strong votes from the north with one other region to be president.

If the East had gone with the North in political calculation on the two occasions, we would have had an Igbo president by now based on our zoning system?

Even our "Biafra hero" late "Ikemba Nnewi" contested for president & Senate respectively, but my people voted against him throughout. They preferred OBJ, YAH ADUA & other candidates from other regions.
TRUTH IS BITTER."

I like d speech of d new Ohaneze Ndigbo President. Pls read objectively.

In my own opinion, d enemy of Ndigbo is Ndigbo itself. I remember a time in this country when all d 6 ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was d powerful minister for oil. The 6 of them outside d Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at d larger FEC. Whatever they decided would eventually be d position of government. In 6 years, this was d situation. Okiro and Onovo had d police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled d Army. These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets.
Rather than care about d poor Igbo chaps scattered all over d country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad. D 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared d money. The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them in d SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay d Chinese d Counter part fund. They shared d money. Enugu/Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned.

Who is to blame? Who is marginalising d Igbo's?

You had your chance, you bungled it. There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at d time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labor had over 10% for his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to d treasury for d benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow after Jonathan, will there be any difference? The Igbo man will

STOP STRUGGLING TOO MUCH FOR THIS WORLD. ONLY GOD HAS POWER TO CROWN ANYONE , EVEN WITH LESS EFFORT.

Awolowo was investigated for Corruption under Coker Inquiry, later tried for Treason in a regular court, he never said it was becase he was a Christian or Yoruba. He defended himself, and when his lawyer was denied entry visa to Nigeria, and his first son, an acclaimed international lawyer, was coming to the court to defend him, he died in a road accident on his way to the Court..Abraham Adesanya broke the news to Awo inside the Court, he expected Awo to start weeping but he did not.

Awo called the attention of the Judge to the development and asked for permission to defend himself and other Accused.

"Segun is dead already, we that are alive must defend ourselves so that we dont die too. This is treason, we must defend ourselves first before we mourn my beloved son"

LEADERS are made!

AWO was a true leader that served his people altruistically unlike the egocentric "LEADERS here in Nigeria...... You know them now.

WHAT ATIKU AND SARAKI DON'T KNOW.

BALEWA never struggled to be Prime Minister. BELLO was qualified but gave it to BALEWA......
SHAGARI never wanted to be President.......but he ruled!

ABIOLA wanted it since 1983......he never got there even in 1993....We loved him but he did not get it.....

OBJ never lobbied for or desperate to be President. Falae wanted to since 1992 but he never got it.....OBJ did.

ODILI struggled and spent billions to get it....he never got it.....Yar'adua was not even physically strong enough yet he got it without spending his personal cash. ODILI got nothing!

JONATHAN has neither the cash nor the finesse to be President but he got it. He defeated desperate IBB and ATIKU in the primaries and BUHARI in the general!

BUHARI resigned to fate. He declared that he will not contest again. That is when GOD handpicked him and made him the President after HE had earlier watched him exhausting his personal energy and killing his desperation!

The time when JONATHAN had no strength, he defeated mighty BUHARI....But when he had all the strength and money...he lost to a BUHARI who had given up!
Osinbajo was eating amala in his house when he was made the Vice President and eventually an acting president.
Leave all struggles for God to do them for you. Allow all the stacked money to be used for the benefit of the people. When it is your time God will surely spend your money as he has done to Balewa, Shagari, Obasanjo,Yaadua, Jonathan and Buhari/Osinbajo.

Politics / My Take On Minna Wedding by rusep: 2:35pm On May 14, 2017
Someone said if you weren't in Minna yesterday for IBB's daughter's wedding, you are just a tenant in Nigeria.
The landlords gathered to wine and dine.
Someone complained about the number of private jets flown into the city yesterday as the Abuja-Minna road isn't motorable. Another one argued it doesn't matter. It was a class thing and it is rare seeing a JSS1 boy play ludo with someone writing UTME.
Someone also wondered why suicide bombers ignored these enemies of Nigeria and decided to attack University of Maiduguri, a citadel of learning where dreams are being built and nurtured.
Someone somewhere close to the wedding venue said he strained his eyes looking for the leaking PDP umbrella and the tiny APC broom yesterday and had to go home disappointed when he saw all of them hugging and smiling without talking about their parties.
Someone faraway in Abeokuta decided to analyze their sitting positions and nearly ended up in the hospital. His blood pressure rose.
Another one, a popular PDP apologist in Enugu, broke down in tears yesterday. He saw 'Bola Tinubu, the man behind his hero's political and electoral fate who still lambasted him days ago in Lagos, seated beside Goodluck Jonathan smiling sheepishly to the cameras.
Someone, an unrepentant APC loyalist, saw Ali Modu Sheriff and Ahmed Markafi stand together. He had always prayed for the total collapse of PDP. He couldn't eat yesternight anyway.
Someone watched Channels Television news and saw Governor Ganduje and his sworn enemy Kwankwaso seated inches apart. He is still praying to God to wake him from his nightmare.
Another one made sure he followed the news on radio waiting for any divisive religious matter to be raised only to hear voices of Bukola Saraki, a muslim, and Yakubu Dogara, a christian, screaming for those expensive wines. He is still changing stations with hopes.
Someone checked online media outlets yesternight and saw pictures of Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis, Igbos all under one roof with their different tribal wears. There was no tribal statement. No tribal war. He broke the screen of his phone.
Here we are.
Continue defending these people who have divided you along religious, ethnic and tribal lines.
Continue witth your gullibilty.
Continue with your nonsense.
What we need is just your brain. Don't bother asking us why.

Hello expert in the house, please I need clarification, I am about to roof my house in Abuja. I conducted a market survey of Aluminum Metcoppo 0.55. Qeensway Aluminum gave me a quote @N3,280 per square metre while other companies gave me a quote range of N2,300 to 2,500 per square metre. Please can somebody explain to me why the difference in prices between Queensway and other companies.
Thanks
