Strike is equivalent to resignation. The federal govt should employvnew staff if they can. Both Babangida and Abacha tried to and could not. You cannot replace Academics in bulk. Meanwhile while on strike, the best of the academics are leaving the country. Have also made his NYSC letter (which you cant get if you dont have a degree) public. Many political parties, including apc have also verified his result from his schools and thereafter kept quiet.
