Four of my former classmates in Nigeria are currently Graduate Teaching Assistants in America as a condition for their full tuition scholarship.

They did PhD right after their B.Eng in Nigeria, and are on track to become fully employed by their universities when they are done with their doctorates.

And I keep asking, why must the government be forced to carry out its responsibility and yet refused to do so. Is this how developed nations address their educational needs?
