Well he freestyled for 9hrs 18 minutes to beat the previous 9hrs 16mins record set by Supernatural in 2006. Previous attempt to break that record in december 2010 by a Wutang clan member failed. He broke it using subjects randomly thrown at him by live callers as well as objects in the room.
It wasn't at OMusic Award, it was hosted by OMusic Award.
Music/Radio / Re: Punchline Of The Year By Ruggedman! by ruz(m): 12:47pm On Apr 26, 2011
Another lame line in the song "loved by shoemakers, mechanics and hispanics" I swear rugged is dumb. He should stop telling us he made mistakes. He is dumb and unintelligent, that's all. Nice song, nice video, legendary lines by dagrin, but messed up by rugged's dumb lines.
Music/Radio / Re: Punchline Of The Year By Ruggedman! by ruz(m): 10:16pm On Apr 23, 2011
@rapjunkie, only dagrin's verses made the song sick, rugged was just dissapointing all thru. '' my name in their mouth like a tongue'','' im a spade im a rake, u r a utencil', '' im so sick nickname typhoid (wtf!), dictionary aint got enoff wards to define me. weak weak weak. and of course the epic fail above.

Dagrin dropped jewels all thru.
Music/Radio / Punchline Of The Year By Ruggedman! by ruz(m): 7:50pm On Apr 23, 2011
He just released the video to the track Emi ni ft. Da Grin, and i was surprised i missed this super punchline when i heard the audio. He said:

'' CALL ME THAILAND, COS IM THE MAN ILLER (MANILLA)!

WTF!!!!i ve always maintained that rugged is whack, this is just the epic of it all. After biting the line he still thinks Manilla is the capital of Thailand. lwkmd.

Music/Radio / Re: Eedris Abdulkareem, A Super Lyricist And Rap Vet by ruz(m): 6:59pm On Apr 05, 2011
Yeah Eedris is no lyricist, even my '5yr old nephew' knows that, but he has a superb flow that stands him out in the rap game, even up till today. Only Saucekid can beat his flow in the industry. Dont even mention Rugged here pls.
Music/Radio / Re: Who Is Naija's Best Female R N B Artiste? by ruz(m): 9:28pm On Apr 04, 2011
I wouldnt consider Omawunmi, Goldie, Lami, as R and B. Lami does soul, Goldie and Omawunmi do afropop, its a recognised genre, The only names i ll add to Waje are Airis, Ego, TY Bello, Lara George, Tiwa Savage.
Music/Radio / Re: Eedris Abdulkareem, A Super Lyricist And Rap Vet by ruz(m): 6:17pm On Apr 04, 2011
Just picked this off ikechukwu's twitter:
@ikechukwukillz: lmao, U must be mad RT @omolexy: #ItisImpossibleToSay if @ikechukwukillz was better than Eedris Abdulkarim, They both rap the same way
Music/Radio / Re: Who Is Naija's Best Female R N B Artiste? by ruz(m): 8:26am On Apr 04, 2011
who mentioned Omawunmi? For goodness sakes she's not into R&B, she's afropop or somtin,
Music/Radio / Re: Who Is Naija's Best Female R N B Artiste? by ruz(m): 6:03pm On Apr 03, 2011
Its so difficult to judge cos they are very inconsistent, prefer to take choruses for the men, and dont stick to style. Waje and Airis are doing it for me right now, but too slow to come up with stuff.

Marry am, carry am, take am dash am now if u want am,

U and u and u, me and u and u can go
I dont play with ho'es i love these girls from home
Linda, Fimba, Suzan, Hannah, no no Belinda
Step on this girl them a feel wise up
She can only be my future girl right yo
Why u dey pose i go tell Fryoo
Im this black brother frm Nigeria, im superior, not inferior, u better get serious
Verse2:
Every now and then they say love is blind
Even though  e stay gboin gboin
I thank you im not a psycho

Looking in the eyes of the ladies now,
U and u and u wanna marry me now
Im not a zaki
Im just around the microphone to make u happy
Na me go marry am, she no go carry am
Come come carry am, haba mallam kadaina haka

@ucheemmanuel, u get me wrong, im not frowning at Downtown, i love that song, i frown at the way he struggles to bring up lewd lines in practically every song.
Music/Radio / Re: Do Ladies Really Love Modenine? by ruz(m): 6:22pm On Mar 23, 2011
@javalove, Practically any song these days, from paradigmshift to davincimode, its useless listing cos they damn to many. Watched his freestyle with OD, pherowshuz, terry da rapman today and it was appalling. http://nigerianhiphop.net/2011/03/22/09-freestyle-session-overdose-pherowshuz-terry-tha-rapman-modenine

Music/Radio / Do Ladies Really Love Modenine? by ruz(m): 2:32pm On Mar 23, 2011
Im a fan of good hiphop and i respect modenine a lot, his hard body rhymes, crazy punchlines and out of this world word plays. I probably would have been a fan but for some few issues i have with him. 1. His inability to give us a mass appeal song (keyword mass, not commercial), he spat crazy on Jimmy Jatt's Stylee, y cant he give us a track like dat?? 2. His content, mostly battle raps and self eulogies (he has few conscious songs and storytelling ones). Now he has a new trend which informed this piece, his lewd contents. He brags too much about how he hit this lady, how that lady blew him, how ladies throw their bra at him, how they video him and self-service to it. He put in all in 1 track on his 090909 mixtape, downtown sweetlove where he went against OD, classic i must say, but the senseless lewd lyrics keep popping up in almost any song he raps in. 3. Attitude, dude's got this superior attitude, he attacks his fans, blocks anyone who dares to make a little comment. So i wonder, alot of guys like him, he is probably the one of the biggest rappers out there, but do ladies really love him like he claims?
Music/Radio / Nigeriandreamteam: Wizkid, Skales And Joshbeatz by ruz(m): 7:19am On Mar 21, 2011
Ive been following up the careers of these MCs, and i must say they hold the key to the future of Hiphop in Nigeria. All young and good at what they do, Wizkid is a vocalist, singer, 20yrs, Skales, 21, Joshbeatz 19. Imagine a track with Wizkid on the hook, Skales handling the bars, and Joshbeats on the beats. Pure fire! Wizkid, though has been accused of being too commercial, and lacks depth in lyrics, however he has this compelling voice that only Wande Coal has in the industry. Even if u dnt like his songs, they tend to grow on u, check out holla at ur boy and tease me. Dude has been growing in confidence and is pretty much the next best thing in RnB, afropop or anything u call it. Skales is an MC of depth. He has some deep punches on some songs which he delivered effortlessly. Many believe he's such a great talent and wonder why Banky W prefered to push out wizkid first. His album drops later this year, and i must say watch out for this guy, he ll definitely make some MCs put their pens on paper and get handed their pension papers. Now Joshbeatz is a fool. You hear his beats and you ll be like, this dude cant be 19. He's got the confidence of DonJazzy, the talents of Sossick mixed. I heard Too Much money and i was like wow, that beat is pretty much the closest any naija song has gotten to an American hiphop song. Watch out for this guys, they aint even started yet. Peace.
Music/Radio / Sorry Ur Favorite Rappers, Mi And Iceprince Cant Freestyle by ruz(m): 6:54am On Mar 21, 2011
It happened on March 18, 2011, at Beat 99.9FM at a freestyle session. The house was packed with up and coming rappers who were eager to raise the building with their punchlines and verbal display of words. Most notable among them Big T, Godwon, T Rex, Rilwan, Lynxx. All MCs went hard laudable freestyles, delivery and out of the world punchlines with DJ Neptunes, Caise and Jimmy Jatt on the deck. Lynxx was ontop of his game, dropping lines with eloquent delivery. Then came the self acclaimed 'undisputed champion', Africa Rapper Number One, Jude Abaga, better known as MI, with record label mate, Oleku Master, Ice Prince. The moderator immediately asked them to drop lines, being the hottest rappers right now. MI and Ice Prince immediately confessed that on their way to the station they had been hearing the other rappers tearing themselves out and that they were already feeling jittery and inferior. Everyone laughed, thinking they were just being humble. Then to everyone's surprise, Ice Prince got on the mic after much persuasion only to attempt to rap the line of Oleku, he was immediately cut short by the other rappers. Same thing went for MI as he basically had nothing to say. After much irrelevant talk both MCs got on the mic and started reciting nursery school rhymes, which was appalling. The show got back on with the other rappers, who were obviously irritated resuming their freestyle. http://nigerianhiphop.net/2011/03/19/sorry-your-favourite-nigerian-rapper-cant-freestyle

Music/Radio / Naeto Gets 32 Stitches On The Head Separating A Fight Involving Saucekid by ruz(m): 8:13pm On Feb 25, 2011
Hiphop super star Naeto C revealed in a recent interview how he got 32 stitches on the head at the set of the shooting of his award winning video Ako Mi Tipoju. According to him, a fight errupted between Saucekid and an unnamed person while shooting the video. The fight got very violent and In the process of separating them, he sustained a deep cut for which he had to be given 32stitches. The controversial rapper Saucekid who was behind the fight was only involved in 2 unimportant scenes in the video. You will recall Saucekid embarassed Naeto C again during the channel o music video awards, when he grabbed the mic after Naeto C's acceptance speech and said, 'i was in the video. Naeto C made this revelation when he faced similar embarassment during the shooting of the 10 over 10 video, when a drunk man went on a slapping spree and caused a pandemonion. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com

I happen to be a Medical Doctor who was previledged to treat pediatric patients during and after the said period when he banned the use of the polio vaccines. The interesting revelation is that from 1 to 2 years after the ban we started seeing the numbers of patients with poliomyelitis multiply in our pediatric neurology clinic. We looked back and realised most of the children were born during that period. That man should be sued for destroying so many lives. Now these innocent children are doomed thanks to this arrogant brat.
