ACN was always in line to do well in the South West, so there's no need for excitement in that regard. The key question is: WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE NORTH?

I doubt if Imo people really have access to the internet
Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by saibuhari(m): 12:03pm On Apr 10, 2011
Am surprised that we dont have nairalanders who can post results of all wards in nigeria here without waiting for INEC.  We want to see results from Imo, Abia, bayelsa, rivers, Katsina, Kogi, Kano. Delta, etc. Does it mean Nairaland has not penetrated across Nigeria by now.  I think Nairaland should start serious marketing or what you call creating awareness beyond Diaspora Nigerians, Lagos, Ogun etc because it appears most nairalnders are concentrated in these three areas. At least all state capitals of nigeria have internet penetration, so whats the problem, Seun Osewa? This election has given us insight into extent of the popularity of Nairaland and Sahara Reporters. The owners of these two important sites should start serious awareness among Nigerians across the 36 states of the country. Honestly, am disappointed that about 24hrs after voting we cant get people to post the results of their wards on nairaland and SR across the 36 states of Nigeria. NL should wake up or I will be forced to float my own site and take care of times like this.
