You were opposed to IMF - know you've turned 360 to claim IMF has bend to Ghana - well mad cow - IMF is going to be with you for sometime. Just40: |
Ruto get standing ovation in south africa...new leadership upon africa https://twitter.com/Kenyans/status/1658779063836704768?s=19 |
Obaaderemi2:obanoon Ruto: " IMF actually wanted us to borrow slightly more, I told them no, we're not borrowing...some characters thought I was joking. I told them, listen, we're going to live within our means. Even if we have today delay for salaries for two, three days, we will. So that people begin to internalize that we cannot continue borrowing" |
Obaaderemi2:People who refuse to see doctor early enough like a baboon become like Lebanon, Argentina, Nigeria and Ghana. You go imf when sick. Imf doesn't cause the disease. They just have tough treatment regime which assures creditors that their money is not lost n that imf credibility. The best thing that we did in 2020 is go IMF.We would be like Ghana now.Of course Nigeria is special kind of stupid.Ruto is not corrupt..that was just propaganda by people who don't understand how he grew wealthy..Ruto works hard in all his life spheres |
Obaaderemi2:I wish Nigeria would listen to Imf n stop manufacturing poverty at industrial scale. Imf and you should have concurrence on diagnosis of economic problems.Treatment is where difference should occur.Ruto listen to anyone with brain..not a baboon like you. Nigeria you are such a terrible position you have given up on electricity, security, economy and pretty much trudging along like Zoomalia. |
Shaytun:Ruto has already failed in 8 months..you got jokes.Ruto came to power with one agenda..to elevate the kenya poor..from economy that had put a few middle and upper class on the pedestal. The so called prominent Kenyans are reeling from hustler revolution. Ruto found an economy in such a mess and has already set it on the right trajectory in 8 months. Its going to be difficult one year of more painful reforms then 2025 the Kenya economy will be on right footing and firing again. |
ImpregnaTor:Such a shame..Nigeria has so much talent but somehiw pick the worst. |
Shma2023:You're late. Those of us know Ruto brilliance, work ethic and tenacity knows he will deliver. |
President William Ruto: There was a delay in salaries for about 2-3 days in April, some characters thought I was joking. I told them we are going to live within our means, even if we have to delay salaries we will, so that people begin to internalize that we cannot continue borrowing #ThePlan Arguably Africa most intelligent president answers tough questions from media https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYPJaBI0Vj8&pp=ygUUUnV0byBpbnRlcnZpZXcgdG9kYXk%3D |
Kazikazi lng project will start in 2028 kicheko biggest Tanzania targets 2028 for the final investment decision that will make it the region’s LNG giant, when it develops its 57.54 trillion cubic feet of gas so far discovered. |
Just40:With ppp mad man..90 percent of France warer...is private. Kenya has got where it is by using brain.Your biggest resource the brain unfortunately is misfiring. We are developing water ppp framework like electricity ppps |
AfriqueDuZuid:We will do it faster..than RSA..we are building 100 water big dams..as you depend on Lesotho |
Just40:50 percent of what slowpoke..chart show two figures..rural n urban water access |
Just40:seek mental help...the chart is obvious..Kenya rural access is around 25 percent..urban access higher at 60 percent..Kenya is better than Ghana. Grow some brain fool |
GeneralDae:That is debate..not top 10 Nigeria companies in Nigeria. Irrelevant |
AfriqueDuZuid:Why don't you compete with Mauritius. Why are you looking behind...mmh you're now conscious of kenya breathing down you neck |
gallivant:We are dealing with raving mad cow whose injecting nonsense in every thread |
gallivant:It crazy..my rural village has had piped water since 1970s. |
AfriqueDuZuid:How will you deal with loadshedding without taking 24B dollars of its debt and giving them cash to become liquid. As you cry for our civil servants..reserves some tears for 10hrs daily of loadshedding for 250 days a year. Soon you're going to be similar to Nigeria...generator country |
AfriqueDuZuid:what do you mean..that rural areas don't have access to pipe water..maybe in South africa |
I thought you were gonna share top 100 Africa companies. How does this help anyone? GeneralDae: |
I thought Kenya was behind in water access - look like Africa is really behind gallivant: |

Uhuru grew the economy from 40B to 120B. Yes he exposed Kenya to exogenous risk by overleveraging - Covid/Ukraine have definitely expose the underbelly of many economies. Kenya is doing better compared to Ghana, Nigeria, Egypt, Pakistani, Ethiopia - name them. When a Kenya president underperforms - it not comparable to Nigeria or mostly in Africa. Uhuru did very well in 1st term - and messed up in 2nd term. In 2nd term he should have watched the debt situation more carefully. He is only guilty of over-borrowing - Not printing money or overseeing economic recession in Nigeria that is now 10yrs old - started in 2014!!!!!!!!! Nigeria you just lost a decade with South Africa - Nigeria average growth rate under Buhari is what 0-1% - when population is growing at 4% - poverty manufacturing at industrial scale. Obaaderemi2: |
Kenya macro-economics are night and day compared to Nigeria or Ghana or the other zoos. Inflation - single digit - less than 9% - Nigeria is 40 and Ghana 65% Interest rate - base is 8% - commercial banks are lending at 13-15% -- Nigeria base rate is 15%? and commercial banks' lending at 30%. Kenya has 65% debt to GDP - Nigeria even with fake GDP have now gone to nearly 50% - 170B dollar in debt Kenya debt servicing ratio is 55-60% - Nigeria shoot the roof - 110%. KES is middle of park in depreciation - Nigeria and Ghana leading. Everything in kenya is working normally - No power blackouts, No water shortages, roads are great, security is tight. Now speak of the Zoo - totally dysfunctional. Obaaderemi2: |
What is problem with that - they are only 900K gov employees. If each support 4-5 people. That is mere 5M kenyans affected. 2.5-3 million kenyans are formally employed in private sector. 17 million are informal sector. So if gov is struggling - does that mean you mess up the private and informal sector? Gov can always cut salaries, reduces allowances, and fire excess employees if they are having cash crunch. Of course for kenya - it was just small problem in March - due to loan maturity bunching up - otherwise we are going to June - and there is no salary delay anywhere else. Only Nigeria goat like Buhari will do what Zim or Idi Amin use to do - order the printing of Naira to pay gov employees and suppliers. Obaaderemi2: |
There is no problem with borrowing - we are borrowing weekly from T-bills - monthly in T-bonds - and once in a while we are getting dollars from WB/IMF/ and commercial banks - as we wait for global economy to recover. What we wont do is printing money - to create inflation havoc and send kenya back to 1990s - our lost decade - when our economy was like Nigeria. If gov fiscal space become very tight - gov will cut budget - cut salaries - or even mass retrench gov employees. To cause 40% inflation - is to nationalize poverty. Obaaderemi2: |
We are not desperate fools like Nigeria. The printer is always available but we wont misuse it. Our tax revenues are growing. GeneralDae: |
Africa countries suffering from Nigeria Resource Curse - most with minerals & oil - are some of poorest & hopeless.
