Nigeria spends significantly more on its infrastructure compared to Ghana and Kenya, with a much larger budget allocated to developing its roads, railways, airports, and seaports. Trust me many more lives would have been destroyed if we continued down the fantasy road the former regime was taking us. The amount they were spending monthly on fuel subsidies was enough to fund the fertilizer program, offer cheap credit on AFC to farmers and offer relief to the vulnerable in the cities.

I'm not trying to absolve this guys of any blame but just pointing out what populist politics does and it's consequences. The reforms they're carrying out now is to create fiscal space for them to operate moving forward and very soon their investments in agriculture, health and education will start paying off. At the same time ensuring we don't find ourselves in this hole again.

What just happened in Gabon is a hint for Nigeria to stay out of Niger's issue. The people are angry with the status quo across much of Africa. Unpopular regimes are being unseated. Nigeria economy will be around 250 billion dollars now, if we calculate using official government rate of 760 and around 190 billion dollars if we calculate according to black market rate of 920 for 1 dollar.

Nigeria is in 5th position in total GDP and around 25th position in GDP per capita in Africa.

Choose and appoint clean ministers and other officials
Removing beuracracy and time wastage in dealing with corruption cases
If the laws are weak,go and convince the parliament to change the laws
Expose corrupt officials and allow the law go punish them quick
Minimize stupid gov expenditures

Bankrupt Kenya does not have such kind of modernization in it transmission system, you guys are left behind in the 20th century.
Your transmission network is less than Ghana and your distribution network is less than half of Ghana's
