D only I have with glo is the issue of no "free migration" after 30 days...

Yeah, it's plastic. I'm surprised to see upto 8 reviews about it on YouTube considering it's an unpopular brand. I have literally watched ALL the YouTube reviews. I downloaded the good ones.

Sorry boss, I don't really use my glo line that often...I don't even leave airtime on it as well.. I just load d exact amount of data I wanna buy, use it then remove it.
I think I left N25 on d line d last time it was still there as yesterday when re-inserted it on my phone for daily sub.

But I have not experienced any deductions like this on glo so I don't have a solution.

Don't be angry bro, it's random. I didn't even expect the bonus, mind you I also have old SIMs that are yet to get the 100% bonus....like I said it's random

But I recommend you try using it for night sub often den just abandon it after each night plan...


After a while leave it for like 2 months, then check it back you will probably be chosen...they usually dish it out to redundant lines

Test glo in your area and let's see how it performs...it's the only economical alternative I can think of.

But of course, data resellers are still in business o , they may have cheaper deals for 9mobile and MTN

At least mtn doesn't deduct our airtime unnecessarily.

Selected SIMs like mine has 100% data bonus for specific plans, I have the one of 200 naira to 3k

They also have 1.5GB regular data + 3GB YouTube pack (12am - 5am)

Their normal 1k is 1k for 1 5GB

Though glo 1k is capped 2GB (for auto-renewed plans ONLY), 9mobile is capped 1k for 1GB

MTN is capped at 1GB + 500MB (1am - 7am) for 1k

Airtel still has some double recharge packages that can be used to call, text and browse which are pretty cool if you calculate it well (Voice + Data)

Airtel trybe still has trybe N500 for 1GB weekly as well as the Almighty N25/500MB which is still available to all old and new existing customers that are on the smart trybe 2.0

PS: I am not an airtel ambassador o, their line just favouring me at the moment and I am just sharing the experience.

I think it's your area. These networks are usually faster/slower in different locations. I am based in Lagos, Ikorodu (Central).

It is barely fast in my office area but at home it's fast enough to get job done. The speed of it during my night plan is the real koko (I got upto 1.5MB/per sec last night. The range is usually 1MB - 1.5MB per sec)

You may need to test other networks to see which one works well for you and the cost consideration

am not ignoring you o, just that like I said earlier.my own screen is cracked and I can't install a new whatsapp for now.. Phone is perfect.. Just downside is the unavailability of parts and Google play.. Minus it, the phone was specially built to withstand a lot of damage .

I think its the first 3D phone and I still doubt if the battery is 3000mah cos it last longer than my infinix 4000mah. It's also quick charge inbuilt... No need for special charger

If you think it's best for you. As for me I am never going back to 9mobile, they've lost their glory days... Their data is extremely cost and even poor in my area here.

I faced the same issue too, but in my own case I have many of their SIM for night sub purpose. So far the deductions has stopped when I sent that code on the affected lines, the rest still awaits the day I have their time
