It's not only you, from the photos the Camon X Pro has higher benchmark score than the Phantom 8.

Benchmarks usually don't translate into real life performance; I've seen many of such reviews that I have lost count but I can cite one which is the Leagoo T5C vs Vernee M5 reviewed by Droid Africa (Antutu was 49021 vs 40020 respectively) but performance-wise the Leagoo T5C experienced lags during heavy games like Asphalt Airborne 8

How did you boot it into recovery after flashing the TWRP, the one I tried then refuses to boot directly into the Custom recovery mode despite using the proper combinations and trying many times.

As a proof, whenever it boots normally (instead of into the recovery after the flashing) I would switch it off and try the same key combinations to see if I was doing it wrong but alas! It will always work well (boot directly into stock recovery mode)
