[quote author=21cents post=85687014]May God punish our leaders 10x.. instead of them building the country towards self sufficiency and an African Giant, such that overzealous countries like America and co. can bark at us and we'd give them the middle finger, they're all busy on a looting spree.
The American dream is amongst the best thing anyone can yearn for as far as I'm concerned, but her foreign policy is nothing to write home about. and for you myopic individuals who are seeing these latest noise as religious ish, and are turning blind eyes to the latest American hegemony, they'd be a certain time when they'd come for you too. Karma is a bad bittch and will serve you all equally. [/quote
While I wont take anything away from your submission, I want you to knw that in this world there can't be a vaccum when it comes to leadership or a super power, Russia,China, Iran all knw this. At every point in history you do have a country that is head above all others, and Iran used to be one in the past as Persian empire, so I see nothing different because soon American power will wane and a new power will rise, until then let's pray for peace and more peace |

Lalaska: my lecturer shared a similar experience. They just moved to Canada and Needed to get a washing machine urgently, they found one that the price was really higher than their budget but felt they could beat it down. They Approached the young couple. selling it and after bargaining, they paid and went to look for a truck to bring it Home. When they got Home, the wife opened the washing machine and saw an envelope with more than thrice the money they paid, there was a small Note there that read "we love your family and hope you settle in Soon, please do reachout if you need any assistance.". That was really touching. This happened over 10 years ago. Wow, that's really nice. The country becomes better because we receive and give kindness and the cycle goes ground. That is why Nigeria is a tough place to live,we are a very unkind people always looking for ways to take advantage of oursekves, whether in business, play or in religion. Most country will survive an economic downturn, but its difficult to survive in a toxic environment.. |

StLukesLAG: Part 7 -------
I still could not find Musa. I’d scoured through every inch of the land and there was no trace of my imp. The only imps here, were the ones in the cart. The three leashed jackals growled at the imps. They yapped with glaring canines at the cart, thrashing so forcefully that the shunned uspecs had hit them in the head a few times, just to shut them up.
The younger of the uspecs approached me. It, like its progenitor, had only one imp eye on its face. It was this uspec who had changed my position. Now, I sat more comfortably, with my hands bound by the manacles behind me. But my legs were free. That was an improvement on the chaining that I had awoken to.
The uspecs were soarus. I tried not to think of how the short tentacle stubs reminded me of longer and greater tentacles. Each time I thought of soaru, my mind darted to Katsoaru and the imperial who had called me friend. Now that imperial’s center eye was on my face, and it was shun, just like this one.
“Will you not tell me your name, noble?” the uspec asked. “If you tell me your name, pater will share the meat that it brings back from its hunt.”
The uspec stared hopefully at me. It wanted my name so that it could reach out to my line and ransom me. Fools. I continued to ignore the uspec, choosing instead to search for my imp. It sighed heavily. “The meat pater hunts is juicy…” it broke off and started mumbling, “how do I say juicy in the kute tongue?”
“Hungry?” it managed to say the single word in the kute tongue. Its progenitor was slightly more adept at speaking kute, but neither of them could form a complete sentence. I saw no need to make them aware of the fact that I could speak their tongue better than they could. My silence bought me time to search for my imp and formulate a way out of my chains.
I pulled at the chains then, feeling their restriction as the metal grated against my skin. The pain in my wrist served to remind me of those all around my body. I felt the wounds from the jackals’ scratches and their bites. Although the bite sites burned and stung, they did not bear undue discomfort. I just needed to figure out a way out of these manacles. I thought the uspecs were dumb enough to be tricked into releasing me, but if I attempted and I was wrong, I would be forgoing my biggest advantage, which was the fact that they did not know that I could speak their tongue. Pls what's happening here, who I'd this and why is the author finding difficult to make her posts, pls the mods should do somthing about what is happening to enable her make her posts. |

Politics › Re: Ghana Resorts To Diplomacy To Get Nigeria Border Opened by Rynne: 4:03pm On Oct 16, 2019 |
psychologygh: Check the amount of exports Ghana exports to Nigeria compared to what Nigeria exports to Ghana. Ghana doesn't need any ECOWAS and if there's a trade war,Nigeria loses 159 million dollars whilst Ghana loses just 80 million dollars. Ghana exports over 17 billion dollars of goods worldwide just in 2018 and Nigeria is not even among top 10 export countries of Ghana even in Africa. All our products are exported outside Africa. Its the millions of Nigerians and their businesses in Ghana who loses not Ghana so think well before trying anything foolish with us.We never rely on your zoo. We're not Benin Republic. It's just that those trucks had already set off so they don't know if they should return back. If they do and we start retaliating, hope you don't cry xenophobia again. Why do you think your ambassador said Ghana is not the target so he will forward it to your authorities to let those trucks in.He knows if Ghana charges, you people will start crying all over the place Have you taken your time to check the amount of goods Nigeria export to countries outside the African continent? There is just no way Ghana can have more export than Nigeria, when her economy is not as big as the Nigerian economy..just my opinion though |

chrisagyei: She is a diplomat, she hardly issue warning, it's GUTA who petitioned her and warned her of retaliation if the issues is not resolved cos when they started their aluta which is in the Ghanaian constitution legally that no foreigner is suppose to start any business in Ghana except when you have a capital of 1 million dollars, it was this same government who calmed them down because you people were like close friends of ours and so they are not even calling for you people to open your borders. They are now justifying why they did and should do what they did nationwide and retaliate by closing the Ghanaian borders because you have shown bad faith. That's why your ambassador is reasoning with the minister's call to forward it because it can be ugly. She doesn't want to retaliate quickly but wants to know if our trucks should return back so the trade war begins. Are u very convince that a trade war between Nigeria and Ghana will affect Nigerians more?....am just asking to know more |

MobilityExpress: There are already radio / TV stations too that speak native Hausa language. You missed the point. The point is "radio station exclusively for herdsmen" in " exclusively herdsmen language", many of whom have turned out to be marauders and killers and secret militias. This should never be allowed. If they do it, then I believe it's not a conspiracy theory anymore and the allegations of trying to fulanize this country is true. I'm seriously starting to have doubts about the Buhari government, based on this. Hmmm! garfield1: Its obvious kanawas are at home with the balkanisation but only meddlesome outsiders are complaining.very funny.kano is too big to be under one emirate.there's no state in the north that is under one emirate.in kebbi,we have argungu, zuru, yauri emirates.in katsina, even small daura is an emirate.in jigawa,we have dutse, hadejia etc.in zamfara we have gusau, mafara etc.in niger we have bida, suleja, kontagora.so why should kano have just one emirate? A governor has the power to create emirates and ganduje exercised that.full stop Wat about the size of the sultanate,? Is it not also too big for sokoto state? Jst asking though |

Lordofthewest: This is why north will continue to decide the fate of this country, they are committed and loyal to the Nigerian state while stupid southerners will be sleeping at home and crying rigging after elections. They are truly committed to the Nigerian state because they are the greatest beneficiaries of the Nigerian state. Northerners don't own private business, they work for the government, if they eventually own a private business they depend entirely on government patronage to succeed.... Their entire being depends on the federal govt to succeed. This is why vote is not just a civic responsibility but also a serious business. |
