Mary Obeten Peter, a woman from Cross River State, Nigeria, has been left devastated after her husband, Peter Obeten, married her younger sister, Hannah.

Mary and Peter tied the knot in 2021 and have a child together.

GRASSROOT REPORTERS gathered that Hannah came to Lagos to assist Mary with house chores when she gave birth. However, she ended up having an affair with Peter, who is a plumber.

The affair culminated in a wedding ceremony that took place yesterday, October 11.

Mary expressed her pain on Facebook, writing: "My kid sister has finally succeeded in taking my husband as her husband may God judge you amen"

She also confirmed that her sister and her husband are now living together.

In a previous birthday message to Hannah in 2022, Mary had called her "my favorite sister".

Peter, on the other hand, showed no remorse for his actions. He posted on Facebook: "I'm so happy that I finally succeeded in taking my wife's kid sister as my new wife".

When I first moved into my apartment, I went out to get some food ingredients and I saw some very pretty girls but I couldn't go and talk to them. I have a Nigerian friend in santiago and he said talking to girls on the street can get you into prison. I later discovered this was a lie as I did it later on but I kept on regretting on not talking to those girls I saw cause they were very pretty and I kinda felt they weren't Chileans or from around here. Anyway, two weeks back I was getting back from church and met some missionaries from the church of latter day saints. I go to catholic here but I really don't care. Church here is an ear training exercise for me to really get to understand how Chileans speak cause they speak so fast so any meeting that involves Chileans speaking you can be rest assured I will be there.

Anyway, I gave these two missionaries my number. One was Chilean the other argentine and they kept on bugging my phone with calls and text messages for me to come to their church. Yesterday, while I was at home they called and were like they can come see me to share the message and I was like meh your choice. They came and you won't believe who I saw with them. The two chicks I saw in my first week that I was angry for not being able to go and talk to. Anyway we started talking and both girls are Americans and are here in Chile for missionary work. The rest isn't important to this thread but I did some research and theres a temporary residency visa category for missionaries. Here in Chile after two years on temporary residency regardless of the type you can apply for permanent residency. I am sure we have church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints in Naija for sharp naija boys. It doesn't have to be Chile. According to the American chick, they post people everywhere. If you don't have money for studies or you don't have the skills that can get you a work visa this is something I will definitely be looking at.

Church of Jesus Christ of the latter day saints do send missionaries to other countries.
From My observation, They do send missionaries from other African countries to Nigeria but I have not seen any Nigerian missionary they sent abroad.

GODSWILL AKPABIO'S POLITICS OF IMPUNITY, BIGOTRY AND DIVISIVENESS IS A THREAT TO YOUR ADMINISTRATION

Your Excellency, it has become imperative to bring to your attention the impending danger in your administration as a result of the several unprovoked, unwarranted and ill-intentioned acts of impunity, bigotry and divisiveness by the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio. As the number three citizen of the country, and one whom you expressly endorsed for the position, all of the Senate President's actions especially his endless grass misconducts that have been a constant thorn on flesh of well-meaning Nigerians, will be attributed to you and your administration. Godswill Akpabio's antecedent as a political bigot and the godfather of impunity and divisiveness is well-known to Nigerians; little wonder his emergence as Senate President has continued to be a subject of controversy even as his tenure is riddled with ridicule and disrespect for the Nigerian Senate. However, the purpose of this open letter is to bring to your notice, recent actions of Godswill Akpabio that are capable of posing serious threats to your administration and the country at large.

i) Sponsoring ethnic crisis in Akwa Ibom to destabilize the state: Right from time immemorial, Godswill Akpabio has been a mastermind of ethnic intolerance especially when the unity of the people threatens his evil agenda. Apparently threatened by your recent inclusion of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno among your delegation to the UN Convention, Godswill Akpabio immediately embarked on a rogue mission of sponsoring ethnic crisis in the State under the guise of a protest. Reliable information available to us has it that Godswill Akpabio promised select Paramount Rulers in the State the sum of ten million naira (N10,000,000) each for them to destabilize the State under the pretext of protesting against the recently amended Traditional Rulers' Council Law. Godswill Akpabio through his cronies even went further to misinform, incite, mobilize and lure innocent youths and women in state into protests they have not idea of the real intent.

Your Excellency, we are aware of the monstrous efforts you are putting into uniting the country regardless of political, religious or ethnic differences. We believe that it was in furtherance of that effort, you magnanimously included Governor Umo Eno in your team to the UN Conference. Unfortunately, Godswill Akpabio, in his nature, sees your well-intentioned gesture as a threat to his evil agenda of having absolute and total control of the state. Hence, his decision to exploit uninformed citizens of the state. As a people, we see Godswill Akpabio's actions as an affront on you and your office and if not immediately will culminate into something more dangerous.

ii) Destroying Akwa Ibom APC through divide and rule: Since assuming office as Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has become the biggest opposition to Akwa Ibom State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Our sources within the party confirmed that Akpabio's actions are driving away members of the party in droves on daily basis. Godswill Akpabio, as an unrepentant bigot, seem to be ready to sacrifice the very party which he stood to become what he is today as long as it will help achieve is evil and selfish aim. We gathered that the Senate President is using his office to intimidate, frustrate and ultimately chase away those who not his loyalists or from the same ethnic group with him. So far, majority of the people he has nominated for different appointments by the President are from his ethnic group, Annang while a very insignificant number is spread across other ethnic groups of the State. Presently, himself a Senator is from Annang and the current Minister in the Federal Executive Council from Akwa Ibom is also of the Annang stock.

Your Excellency, we have it on good authority that Godswill Akpabio intends to convert Akwa Ibom APC to his personal group where I can exert total control over. While there are few members who have sworn to defend the party against Godswill Akpabio's evil agenda at all cost, majority of other members have chosen the honourable path of leaving the party. With the continuous worsening of the situation within party, Godswill Akpabio is steadily building an army of aggrieved citizens who will seize every opportunity to revolt against your administration as he is repeatedly heard always bragging that he has full support in everything he does.

iii) Planting of spies in key federal government offices: Godswill Akpabio's stock in trade is blackmail and he has so perfected trade to the extent that he worked himself to becoming the number three citizen of country. You may not have noticed, but the truth remains that Godswill Akpabio wormed his way into your heart in the race for the Senate Presidency by discrediting others who were also contending for the seat. Like they say, "a leopard never changes its spots". We are reliably informed that Godswill Akpabio's next target is becoming the President of Nigeria by all means. As part of his strategy to achieve this agenda, he is secretly planting spies in critical federal government offices with the objective of harvesting information that can be used against your administration. Many of these spies among those he has nominated for appointments into federal government Boards and Commissions while others have been somewhat attached to the offices of his interest. Part of the duties of his spies is leaking secret government documents that are capable of causing catastrophic damage to the administration to the media.

Your Excellency, we can also tell you authoritatively that the Senate President has began plotting your impeachment by inciting some members of the National Assembly against you. We can also tell you that Godswill Akpabio has a hand in the ongoing controversy over you academic records in Chicago University. We know this for a fact because from our investigation, his cronies are collaborating with the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and his team on the case. Truthfully, having one of the most untrustworthy men in today's Nigerian politics as head of the country's legislature while you are the country's President is as good as sitting on a time bomb.

▪That you use your good office to checkmate and cut the excesses of Godswill Akpabio
▪That you should call the Senate President to order and urge him to desist forthwith from sponsoring any form of crisis in Akwa State
▪ That you should urgently intervene in the ongoing crisis within Akwa Ibom APC with the aim of genuinely reconciling the members and rebuilding the party.
• That you order a thorough investigation on everyone that Godswil Akpabio has nominated for appointment into any federal government office.
