mrksquare:
Wike that when he was governor of Rivers state ensured that all state owned enterprises were brought to its knells; the same Wike that killed the Rivers state Transport Company is now quarying the performance of the sacked MD.

In Nigeria we are so given to superficiality that our definition of good governance seem to be blurred. In a sane country, Wike is a big misfit to hold any public office.
Wike is power drunk.
@Mrksquare will you attend the Youth Summit this month?

Career › Re: Please I Need Help - Transfer/change Of Department by sageb: 9:26pm On Oct 01, 2023
Chidumga2006:
I'm a student of MOUAU
I'm in 200level in computer engineering department
But I'm considering transferring from computer engineering department to computer science department
bcuz I don't have a strong background in mathematics , and I feel that computer science is a little bit less maths-intensive compared to computer engineering , I had wanted to learn programming and I thought that computer engineering would be good for me as it is a combination of computer science and electrical engineering and as such I'll have the background of a computer science ( I mean the programming background/aspect of it ) and also the background of an electrical engineer ( the hardware and embedded systems aspect of it ) , but when I was in 100lvl first semester, I found mathematics very difficult and I didn't even solve anything during our exams , I did " guesswork " throughout the mathematics exams and I think our maths course is a 3 unit course , and things got worst as I proceeded to 2nd semester, as we were now offering two maths courses which were 3 unit course and I actually missed the test for one of the mathematics courses ( which is think is 30marks ) and I didn't even buy the workbook we were actually told to buy for the course and for the other maths course , I told someone to help me get the book and help me write the assignment we were given on it and help me submit it cuz I wasn't around and the worst was that I forgot to send him my matric number and the person submitted it like that , things just got more difficult for me in my second semester maths exams , though the gss courses , chemistry course and eng courses ( general engineering courses) were okay for me including physics Sha , though physics gave me a tough time due to the mathematical calculations in it which is a much when compared to chemistry.

I was actually told to reach a CGPA of 3.0 before I'll be allowed to transfer and which I will buy the application form which is up to atleast 10k and also pay additional 20k for the change/transfer of department stuff

I'm actually giving it a thought as I don't know if I shud go ahead with it if I were to reach the 3.0 CGPA , as my 100lvl first and second semester results which will be used to calculate my CGPA to know if I reach their minimum CGPA requirements will be out in 200lvl first and second semester, which means that I'll be entering 300lvl by the time the results are out , and I was told that I can still transfer to computer science department and start with them in 300lvl , that I won't be stepped down if I shud do the transfer , which all together might mean that i won't/might not be able to transfer to another department in and start with them in 200lvl in MOUAU .

please guys I know my writeup was long , I apologize for that , but I need you guys advice and suggestions on this matter as it would go a long way for me and help/assist me in making decisions concerning the transfer of department stuff , bcuz I'm confused

and I don't want to transfer to computer science department and regret it later on in life , as I heard that the computer science of a course isn't that lucrative in Nigeria

and I don't also want to regret not transferring to computer science department later on if I shud go further on in my computer engineering course and God forbid it , I don't graduate with a good grade due to the amount of mathematics in computer engineering , as I heard that computer engineering is maths-intensive, and not just computer engineering but engineering courses as a whole

Guyz plz I need your help

plz I need this post/writeup to enter front page
Have you lay your hands on the Computer science department courses and credit unit module manual.
If you do, you will know that the department take courses of mathematics/statistics dept up till the second semester of 300 level.
In 400level, you will go for 9 months/1 year internship.

You cannot drop mathematics/statistics courses in computer science department so if you're not good in mathematics, you know what to do.

Also shout out to the N18bn Federal University of Transportation sited in the famous transport hub that is Daura (population 300,000).
The Bayelsa state airport is functional, you can fly ✈ directly to Bayelsa state.
Whereas the 18 storey tower hotel is a long time abandoned project since Ex Governor Sylva's tenure.

Few months ago, I was in Salvador, the capital of Bahia, a northeastern state in Brazil. Salvador is known for its Portuguese colonial architecture, Afro-Brazilian culture and a tropical coastline.

The Pelourinho neighborhood is its historic heart, with cobblestone alleys opening onto large squares, colorful buildings and baroque churches.

Walking around Pelourinho was fun, because of the many influences from Africa, especially the Yoruba religion. I walked by some vendors selling Acarajé, which is their version of Akara. I tried it once, and I didn't like it. Nothing compared to Naija's Akara, though Brazilians enjoy it, I tell them "Wait till you try Naija's Akara". Even coca-cola dey use Acarajé for their ads.

I spoke Yoruba to the guy talking about Orisha, and of course he had no clue of what I was talking about, they just want money. lol He wanted to do some cleansing or something like that to me, I said lai lai, no be me. lol grin

I met some other interesting people which you can see in the video below.

Danielben27:
Good morning and happy new month
I want to narrate the problem I am facing presently to you guys. I believe I will be able to get good response here.
I am 28years old. I finished school year. And from then till now I am not working not that I don't want to work o or work isn't coming but I have problem passing the interviews. I am so shy and timid that I won't be able to answer questions. The last interview in abuja, a job that could pay me up to 150k I messed it up. They asked me questions that I knew the answers to but I was so afraid to speak. I couldn't even look the man and two women in their face. I just sat there mopping at the ground, sweating uncontrollably. My hearts pounding. They were even encouraging me to speak up, they gave me time to talk but I said nothing. Even when I tried to speak my voice was just shaking. I could have easily gotten the job but that one went
Last month,I went for an interview. Job of 75k. I messed it up. The man even told me to come the next day for the job that he understands my fear but I didn't go because I felt I won't be able to attend to customers well.
My social life is zero, I have no friends, I have nobody I can relate with. Like this I have been managing the little money I have and what is left is 15k. If this money finishes without me getting a job I am doomed bcus nobody to call.
Why I am bringing this here is so that someone can help me out. I saw a doctor and he said it is anxiety disorder. He gave me drugs I took around march but nothing worked. I was just spending unnecessary, when he even prescribed another drug that one just made me hungry every time.
Back then in school I heard people use weed to be more social but never tried it. I thought it was bad and not good for the health. But now I can do anything to come out of this. The only situation better than this my situation now is death.
Please I need advise on how I can get weed, dosage. Is there any other way to use apart from smoking. Where can I get quality weed. Like how much will I spend on it in a month( I am short on money now ).
I have an interview on Wednesday so I will appreciate if more people drop their advice. God bless you.
Stop smoking weed,marijuana is a stimulant 😔
Go out and socialize with like minds
Be Bold and confident during job interviews.
Good luck

The men and the ladies on the motocycles are not relations. They simply met at the bus stop and boarded Okada together in order to save cost. Depending on who comes first or otherwise, you find men sitting tightly behind women and vice versa. Same-sex passengers also ride on same bike. This is obtainable in many parts of Nigeria where commercial vehicles plying such routes are insufficient mostly due to the deplorable states of the roads.

How comfortable is it for a potent man to sit tightly behind a woman (who is not his relation) on the same bike for several minutes? Do you see anything wrong in this or not?
It's a normal thing in some places, I've done it before.
Back then in Oyo state.

PuZZyNegro:
I got entangled with this good girl from River state and I am about to marry her.

She's already carrying my child. But my siblings keep complaining about her state.

Two of my sisters said that women from River State are known to be promiscuous and always cheat in marriage.

One of my sisters used her former school roommates as an example. Coincidentally, my two sisters gave the same opinion about them even when one did not know what the other has said regarding the same.

And the apex of it is when my sister said that they are also known to kill their husbands. I take this one with a pitch of salt because I know my girl can't hurt a fly but with the confidence she had when she asked that we should abort the pregnancy and that it isn't yet a baby but a mere blood.

It takes the fear of God for a woman not to cheat in marriage. I can't tell if I can find that fear of God in my woman.

Please, has anyone here had anything to do with a woman from River State and how has the experience been so far.
So that's all you and your sisters think about Rivers State women?

Which State are you from?
Which LGA is your Girlfriend from ?

All I see in your post is hasty generalisation.

Popular veteran musician, Ibrahim Olawale known as Brymo has called out his colleague, Burna Boy for ‘claiming’ to be the ‘Jesus’ of Afrobeats in Nigeria.

In an interview on TVC, Brymo described Burna Boy as a fake person and a thief whose songs are not original. He mentioned that Burna’s songs are all samples or stolen slogan and as such, doesn’t deserve to be who he think he is.

Brymo further stated that Afrobeat is a music style while crediting Fela Anikulapo for creating a genre around the style. He stated that the new generation artistes are disrespecting the music style while also referring to Wizkid and Davido as thieves.

‘’That’s funny because I saw a video where he said he was jesus of Afrobeats. I think he is sleazy, cheap and a thief. He is very unoriginal and very fake. Every song is a sample or a stolen slogan. It is disrespectful that a new generation came and tried to create another centre of number 1s. Wizkid is the best, davido, burna boy…no , they all are thieves.’’
"It's Brymooo, choc boys in the building"
From "Son of A Carpenter " to "Merchants, dealers and slaves" Album, Brymo gave us good lyrical songs.
