After reading this, I understand to an extent that some elites were sponsored to some intended courses, in a plan set before they were even born to be used as vital instruments in dicing out counter attacks to the behind -the-scene plans of those who are bent to enshrine Nigeria and her people, long term, in a religion, they unreservedly don't adore. Hired and enslaved.

The game looked favourable to you already @budaatum. You had a queen ND Bishop, or was there any tactical brilliancy?

Thanks guys for the contribution. Well, I personally don't usually play chess online. The feel of that physical tension is quite interesting to me, ND I like seeing the mood of my opponent to decide whether I can use it in a game. That's y I prefer offline game.
Also, I stay around owerri too, FUTO to be precise. If any one is around there, we can arrange a meeting. What do u think guys?

are u stupid? how can u compare obudu cattle ranch to this RUGA madness? obudu is a ranch.. ! RUGA as far as the government are hiding the whole info, is a biased , 1-sided benefit, colonizing-intent, and manipulative scheme. if they want to make it real, let the cattle they bring here be handled by the people in that community. let d Fulani stay in their side for goodness sake!

. Hello. Pls, forgive my tone, but I will like to be as blunt as possibly. I am a student currently and, for some time now, I have been having thoughts about starting to sell JERSEYS in school. I don't have any previous marketing or biznes experience. I would love to utilise the social media: Facebook, WhatsApp for marketing. but I don't know wot to do. I don't kbw how to start. Please, guys, I would so appreciate if you have a knowledge of what am saying and you drop some juice. I really hope I made it clear. I look forward to getting lots of ideas from u. Thanks.

" I came back from school today around 4:00pm only to to be told by my roommates that my chess friend had come earlier looking for me. I was really tired, and hungry. But then, that guy was the only reason why i still play this game. He visits me at intervals, even odd hours to catch some few hours at a game we both love. Most times, if not him, i end up not playing games upto a week. Chess players are scarce around my side. I knew i had to be the one visiting him today

. I had #50 on me so I can buy donut nd hold stomach cha. Grabbing my board, i set off to Eziobodo.

. Does chess really exist in Nigeria?

" Michael informed me around this time on friday that he woundnt be able to make it to the tournament on saturday "

And for a good reason: his letter for internship at total just got approved and he was invited for interview. Thus, I lost all hopes of getting d pictures from the chess tournament which took place in port harcourt club, on 16th, dats saturday. But then, how many of us were even aware of the tournament, b4 we even start considering d distance? See eh, one thing I hate abt chess tournaments in Nigeria is d poor quality of PUBLICITY given to it. Partially, i blame d organisers. But den, on a fair ground, considerin d low interest of d game by d masses, i understand dia plight. I have never played in a tournament though, recently i discovered a new page on fb https://facebook.com/futovate where i get some updates on chess news and tournament alerts in Nigeria. Its jst a new page so much is yet to be done on it. Meanwhile, have u played in a tournament before? #loak
Forum Games / Chess: We Need More Tournaments! by Sageboss(m): 5:07pm On Mar 10, 2019
" Earlier today, my brother left to his usual sunday field to practice and play his favourite game: football. Later, usually, twice in a month, they would play an organised match with a fellow team somewhere else. Just for fun. They are not even noticed by NFF not to talk of FIFA. BUT THAT DOESNT STOP THEM FROM PLAYING AND ENJOYING THE GAME THEY LOVE! Now, am concerned abt chess here. You see chess players, all of them want to play fide rated events! All of them want to win thousands in one match! Only few care to play their game out of fun! BUT THEN I RECENTLY DISCOVERED! It wasnt all! Infact, i discovered many, several players out there who really loves the game. They play, practice alone, sometimes play online, i think this guys should be given an avenue to compete friendly or intensely in a tournament. Its obvious, am afraid to say, dat the NCF, the Nigerain chess body is lackadaisical in their mission to promote chess. We can do it ourselves! I will throw more light on that next time. Share your thoughts on this please. #loak

Dear chess lover,
.
Waiting for a chess club to be established in ur village before u begin to play tournaments is simply like waiting for a job offer to come before entering a university. There is no excuse. Look around u, how many chess clubs are in your state? If you are not in Lagos, abuja or port-harcourt, then i can almost say that there is none. Why waste you passion depending on others? Use your phone! Play constantly. Play on a board when possible. Develop yourself! When ever you hear of a tournament, dont panic ok! Register. Play. If you win, you rejoice. If you lose, you mature. Never give up early, i urge you. Fight like a king. Cause, whether you have realised it by now or not, fortunately or unfortunately for you, YOU ARE ROYALTY!

Forum Games / Re: How Can We Develop This Game Of Chess Here In Nigeria? by Sageboss(m): 1:01am On Mar 07, 2019
Frankly, the game of chess is on a very low recognition scale in Nigeria. This is of no doubt considering the fact that majority of the fans of the game here are actually the players. Thus, without mincing words, to a lay man on the streets, in Nigeria chess doesn't exist. Now, this begs the question? Do we need to develop this game for the sake of public interest or for the players themselves? My answer; FOR THE PLAYERS. YES! Its high time chess tournament organisers in Nigeria need to understand that the game s to unpopular yet to attract sponsorship of any serious type. What I feel is that, we should focus on developing this our dear sport around existing players. These ones will on time grow in number to what can invite family and friends to a tournament and thus provide the needed audience for any sponsor. I think we need to orga iae tournaments more, at every level, even in the streets. Possibly, in due time, this will happen. That's my view. Thanks for reading. #loak
