I believe there was a consensus from the 1st game that Etuhu, Kaita and ogbuke should not have started the game against Argentina. Why ETUHU & KAITA started this game completely baffles me. I could have shot Etuhu personally in the knee cap giving his performance in the last game. The under 20 defensive midfield players play better than Etuhu and Kaita.

what are you talking about? Don't you have to chase a ball that was moved to you? Don't you have to chase your opponent and collect the ball in order to move the ball. If you are not fit and can't chase the ball, you give your team no opportunity to move the ball and you are too tired to chase the ball when it is being moved to you. Soccer is a game that rewards fitness. I played competitive soccer for 6 years. Fitness is key.

You can't stand around and expect the ball to move.

I don't disagree with you about fitness, but in this game giving the possession we have had, you would agree with me we have done less chasing because we had the ball more at hand. having the ball and having movement (means running and not just standing) and creativity would have given us the win in this game.

Amodu really needs to take make serious changes with this team. Thanks to odem people may forget how bad this team has played for 45min. They lack pace and the lone striker up front is not helping. If the plan is for yak to hold on to the ball so the midfield and the wingers can join in the attack, well i can say he has done a very poor job at that.
