data consumption on site is and can nevr be d same thing, the blackberry fone completely reduce ur data waste..eg suppose ur viewing a page on bb it ould eat like 100kb on nokia it would be 500kb android 900kb..and note all are d same site..rim reduces their cost,nt dat am a bb users by any chance its just facts..if u doubt it check urself
Take for instance nairaland, you can only reduce the content of your browsing by reducing the pixels(display screen), eliminating pictorial downloads and ensuring you view text only.

On another note, going by your arguments, it doesn't make sense for an internet provider to provide cheaper services a device that consumes less data. The only reason there is a bias for BB is because of its popularity.

Hello guys

Today, my third day of using glo-blackberry plan on my android phone, I received a web notification from hsi-glo informing me to subscribe to the package meant for my phone. This notification blocked me from browsing other pages. However, I used the quick solution method, I switched my phone off for about 30secs and switched it back on.

I think if glo and other networks are sincere, they should stop this biased package for blackberry users and make it flat for everyone at a cheap rate. Data consumption for any website is the same for all phones.
WebmastersWebsite Database Export by saintneo(op): 4:27pm On Feb 13, 2013
Hello guys

I think it is a violation of private web data for a web programmer to export the database of a particular website to another website without the permission of the data owner.

Why am I saying this? I recently I discovered that my login info for nairaland is available in other websites designed and owned by Seun. This website is stockmarketnigeria.com.

I believe that Seun and company are violating members' right and trademark by exporting their private details to their other websites. Even though, Data Protection Laws are not really effective in Nigeria, I believe web business laws are universal.

As a result, Seun and Company should either merge all their websites or create permission channel for importation/exportation of private data.

What's the trade name of the musical duo Peter & Paul Okoye?

This is a sharp selling point for the popcorn entrepreneur, PSquareS does not belong to the duo.

PoliticsDifferent Football Federations In Nigeria by saintneo(op): 4:40pm On Feb 07, 2013
In the UK, there are four different football federations namely: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales. The most promising of these federations in the English FA, some clubs in the Wales are registered as part of the English FA - Swansea a typical example.

So how will this post affect the lives of Nigerians? A very pertinent question indeed, I must say.

Recently, a high profile personality of the NUJ criticized the selection of the Super Eagles representing Nigeria in AFCON 2013. The journalist was of the opinion that most the Super Eagles players are of SE & SS region; as a result NC, NW, NE & SW were maliciously excluded.

In addition, an 'activist'(not really sure whom he is representing) wished for the defeat of the Super Eagles at the hands of the Malians. He even branded the national team as Biafra. In another opinion from a Nairalander of Muslim faith, the Nairalander prayed for Allah's mercies because he supported a Christian dominated Super Eagles in their encounter with Mali - a Muslim nation.

Now back the original question, how will this post affect you as a Nigerian? I am proposing a separated football federations that will represent the different parts of Nigeria just like it is in the United Kingdom. We will have different football leagues, different football teams representing us in the FIFA, CAF & WAFU competitions. Each home nation will run its football so as to compete effectively. In addition, a player of Nigerian nationality can choose whichever home nation to represent - just like Wayne Rooney chose England over Wales.

With this we will have more opportunities of silverware as a nation, Biafra United Gold, FC Arewa Silver, Owambe SC eliminated in group stages..... Lol.

Finally, I doubt if there will be any criticism on the selection of the National team, because we won't be needing it anymore.

EducationUniversity Education Vs Apprenticeship by saintneo(op): 6:07am On Dec 28, 2012
With the high number of graduates every year and limited opportunities for employment worldwide, if you had the opportunity to become a secondary school leaver would you opt for University Education or Apprenticeship in your field of choice.
Examples:
If you are engineering inclined, with the intention of working in the oil and gas industry. Would you prefer to embark upon a company's engineering scheme or the main stream faculty education?
If you are law inclined, with the intention representing real estate industry. Would you prefer to work as a legal aid or join the main stream faculty of law?

telegraph: Become a lawyer with no degree.
School leavers will be encouraged to skip university and train for highly-paid jobs as lawyers, bankers and accountants in a new wave of “professional” apprenticeships, a minister discloses today.
