I think GMB can do this infact within two days. All he need to do is simply nock off few zeros from our currency and the deal is done. For e.g remove the two zeros from a N100, it will become N1. I am begining to wonder how come upon the shouting by politicians how bad the devaluation is the following products prices remain unchanged : 1. Garri 2. Rice 3. Okrika wakeup 4. Plantain 5. Beans 6. Palm oil etc. I know that I am clueless about basic economics, but an average Nigeria needed, food, shelter and clothing. I begin to wonder again, to whose benefit do these politicians campaign on devaluation? It can only be to themselves. They gain more when N1 = $1. I never knew this until now, thanks OP. Another angle again, a weak naira will encourage foreign investment. The reason is that labour becomes very cheap. Our sisters and brothers in UK, USA, CHINA, JAPAN, can come back home to invest and have a good return for their money. CONCLUSSION : Nigeria is a great nation let us salvage it together. I keep on wondering when people continue to delude themselves that GMB will jail IBB, JONATHAN, the wife Patience, and many others. I begin to wonder if GMB will suspend the Constitution and replace them with Decrees. This is not 1983 for goodness sake.! If Mr President is arrested today let assume, that is if GMB wins, he has the ability to hire a good lawyer to defend himself. Dr. Peter Odili, a past Gov. of Rivers state is a pointer to this. Except his party men and hierachy will advice him to throw away the Constitution, which is possible anyway, because he has done it before. This to me means a great danger and a poor leadership quality. It means that all the years GMB have served this nation maybe as a result of someone calculations. This is shown by his inability to steer and be in absolute control while he was the military president. The strenght of Tunde Idiagbon(Gen) is not questionable. Little wonder will drive you to a conclussion that Tinubu and Amaechi will be the true President and Vice respectively. Which means Tunde Bakere may be right.
