timonski: Eckankar was adapted from hinduism et buddhism. Why else would sri harold klemp receive the mantle of eck master in INDIA !!! You claim 963 eck masters when your religion was founded 1965 by paul twitchell. Also, your teachings of soul travel just doesn't cut it. I was once an eckist though. You said you were a member of Eckankar? What was ECK ID Number? Most members of Eckankar never forgot their ECK ID No. even if they leave Eckankar. I will like to know it if you do not mind. Thank you most kindly. |

benodic: @ PastorKun
you called, i answered. i hope life is treating you well.
@ literarymathy
thanks for your thread but you should realize that we ECKists really are not interested in defending our religion. we are more interested in living our religion and sharing the wonderful love of God with all life. it is very natural for people to attack what they do not know or understand and it is okay. we have no qualms with that. you also have to realize that when the chela (student) is ready, the master appears. when the Masters appears all the ignorance and misunderstandings about Truth clears like the morning mist upon the appearance of the sun.
@ timonski
from what you wrote here, if it is really true that you were once an Eckist then it is very clear you didn't take your studies seriously. what makes ECKANKAR unique is that 99% of teachings is learnt in the inner planes while only 1% is accessed in the outer. so those who are too lazy to do their spiritual exercises will remain at the outer fringes and may eventually drop out. any confusion you have about the teachings can easily be cleared by inner spiritual search. the Holy Spirit which we know as the ECK is the repository of all truth and one can tune in to the Holy Spirit through the spiritual exercises of ECK and get answers to any question on truth.
@ wordcat
it was once a folklore to me before and i was sure that the experiences they shared were cooked up stories too until i made inner enquiries and verified the truth of the ECK teachings for myself and i have also had numerous experiences which has become my authority. ECKANKAR does not beg anyone to believe in Its teachings or to accept what It says. you must experience Truth for yourself before it can make sense to you. we simply provide means for you to experience truth which is lacking in most other religions. it is up to you to take advantage of it or not.
to get more information about ECKANKAR, you can always go to the website, www.eckankar.org and you can download 2 free books from the website titled "ECKANKAR, ancient wisdom for today" and " Is life a random walk?". these 2 books summarizes the ECK teachings.
remain blessed Thank you most kindly MBB!! |

You claim 963 eck masters when your religion was founded 1965 by paul twitchell. Also, your teachings of soul travel just doesn't cut it. I was once an eckist though. ECKankar is a compund word gotten from "ECK " which means Light and Sound of God or Holy Spirit and ANKAR which means "The way ". Puting the two together, Eckankar means the way of the Holy Spirit. Just like a new pope start his journey in Rome even though he is an African or Indian. There are 973 past ECK Masters each has been a leader of Eckankar at their age and time. As a member of Eckankar, I sing HU, a holy and sacred name of God to open up my heart to accept God's love. Purified by this act of prayer, I can now see and know my true spiritual nature as a child of God. I sing HU when happy, sad, in danger or simply need God 's love. Soul travel which take many forms is simply a change in consciouness. To some it may occur as movement in a vivid dream to others it may occur as a new awareness. |

If our politicians are mandated to take their oath of office before a shrine and not the Bible or the Quran, I think most of the problems of corruption would have been a history. Very economical, no tithe or offering of any kind. Few pieces of cola nuts, local gin will do. In some culture you only need salt water. No expences to be paid to lawyers. Its effectiveness in most towns and villages are instant and without failures. |

Things are rapidly changing now you know. Gone are the times when certificates mean nothing to contestants, now, they are important. People have started asking questions. So it is with political debates too. It will come to a point in our history when ordinary village youth elections will be highly credible involving document scrutiny and high intellectual debate. We owe it to GEJ |

What foolish debate? A debate organised by Omole of NTA and Dokpesi of AIT? Can u swear with ur balls, ur seeds and unborn seeds that these Jonathan cocck suckers organising the debate won't leak the questions to Jonathan while the General won't have such luxury. Buhari is on point for ignoring the charade called debate. As clueless and slowpoke as I am, I know that boycoting a debate is not good for a high profile person, filled with intergrity and epic cluefullness like GMB. Things are rapidly changing you know. I think for APC to return to the part of intergrity, they should just do the needful by allowing GMB attend the debate. They should not pile up mediocrity after the Certificate saga which put their candidate in bad stand. For posterity, and good governance the debate should go on. |

Caseless: sure-P na scam! We established new universities when none of our existing university could make the top 200 universities in the world. It is only in Nigeria that we have one thing that's not working, we create more out of it to increase the problems. Those are glorified secondary schools, not universities. Gej has nothing to show! The universities our politicians are stealing our monies to send their children to India, Malasyia, Ghana etc, are they better than our schools here? |
Politics › Re: Re: Buhari V Jonathan: Beyond The Election By Dr. Kayode Fayemi by saintopus(m): 5:27pm On Jan 27, 2015 |
Nigerians do not need much Economic and Financial Analysis to govern. All Nigerians need are very simple. 1. Provide us 24hrs light to do our business. 2. Build hospital so that we can send our children and wives to when they are sick 3. Build us good roads or rail lines to enable us transport our goods and services to where we want. 4. Provide us with water. 5. Build schools so that we can send our children to.
I do believe that Nigeria is the simplest nation to govern unlike Europe and America that their agenda is to conquer the world and send astronaut to Mass.
For me, I have seen an improvement in the past Goodluck Administration unlike in the past ones. 1. Benin-Ore road has been fixed 2. All states of the nation now have Fed. Universities 3. Trains are back. 4. Niger bridge under construction. 5. East-West road now motorable. Area to focus on. 1. Security 2. Unemployment of youths. 3. Hospitals.
Nigerians are hardworking people!!! |

Aksonman: I'll vote GEJ because I have very high self-esteem and i do not hold him responsible for my personal problems...unlike Buhari fans.
GEJ is doing a great job. Crude oil prices slumped, Naira has been devalued for months now, yet inflation has not reached the roof unlike what's happening to Russia now. In Nigeria, the things you bought at N100 when Naira was N160 to $, still cost N100 (or even less) now that it's N200 to $.
Someone is managing our economy very well. I never thought of this. Very good observation. |

Will that also cost more than providing a health centre for the people? Can 't the State Budget fund that simple project which many private homes all have it in PH? Lets assume Okonjo Iweala, and GEJ are frustating Amaechi in getting a loan, for a simple borehole for a village? We should be very careful of what we support because of politics. tbaba1234: A few months ago, I would have said GEJ wins the election easily. Over the last few weeks, the APC seems to be gaining momentum. I have seen more igbos declare support for Buhari than in 2011.
GEJ will still win the SE but Buhari will get more votes.
We should not forget that GEJ got 300,000 votes in Sokoto and hundreds of thousands of votes in each state in the north. It will be so difficult for him to achieve this now except it is rigged.
I spoke to a man from adamawa who was so bitter about the government response to BH. This kind of sentiment is spread all over the north, muslim or christian.
There is little time to regain the momentum. GEJ must emphasise his achievements and stop taking cheap shots at the general. In NL, I will agree with you. However, in reality it may not be so. |
